Angelica Ortiz | Overall ExperienceNothing Staff is Very Friendly and Attentive
RUBEN NATALGetting my trailer to the same location as I picked up my truck. Instead, it was 20 miles away. So I had to drive the van there, pick up the trailer, drive back to my car, load it, then set off. It took a very large chuck odd of my first days drive time.
Valerie LowMuy buen lugar muy seguro y lo mejor con acceso las 24/7
JORGE CHAVEZ | Overall ExperienceMuy buen servicio. Claro que lo alquilarla de nuevo.
MAGDIEL VALENZUELA | Overall ExperienceTruck was dirty, had broken mirror, no offer to make certain driver was able to utilize the locks on back door, etc. Felt a bit on the sketchy side.
Michelle SullivanEl personal fue muy amable con nosotros
maria padillaLess of a location issue, but I had to drive 3 hours to get a decent price on a trailer. 1500 dollar mark up if I didn’t drive 300 miles.
MICHAEL BOUTONA customer should not attempt to rent from this location on a Saturday as the individual on duty is woefully unfamiliar with the computer program used to rent the equipment.
Lynn CalcoteI was satisfied with the strorage room and the staff always friendly and helpful for thanks
IRMA ALFARO | Overall ExperienceExcellent service !
eduardo chavolla | Overall ExperienceThe employees who helped me were patient and really wonderful! It was neatly closing time and they were so wonderful getting me cold water when u walked in because it was 117⁰ outside. They guided me perfectly to hook up the trailer and were nothing but professional! Good people!
NESHE TAYLORVery friendly costumer service and overall great experience definitely I’ll recommend it .
Daniel RamirezmartinezUp right great
David MotaGreat!!!!
Alfredo CerdaThe text for the pick up location had 390 N Caesar Chavez ST in San Luis, AZ. This meant when I clicked the address on my phone it didn’t include the city or state as part of the address because in would not be included in the address. Modifying the auto generated text to remove that ‘in’ would help ensure people find the right pick up location without undue fuss.
Marcus BejotSome pavement would be nice on the entrance and the parking lot.
GUILLERMO GARIBAYReally friendly
Martin SoteloThe 20 foot truck was absolutely filthy. I sprayed it down inside with Lysol before I drove it off the lot. The windshield was very dirty and I had to stop at a gas station and clean it in order to see. I spent about an hour cleaning the steering wheel, seat, dashboard, floors, and the windows--especially with Covid 19 threat--before I felt safe in this truck. All of these items should have been cleaned prior to picking it up. The staff did not wear masks and it was very uncomfortable. They wouldn't let you in the office, but they approached me in my car, way too close for me to sign the paperwork. The truck drove well even with 108,000 miles on it. I feel like I should receive a discount because of the items mentioned above. Please advise.
ron brennerNothing very knowledgeable personnel..
Martin SandezI had to drive a 60 mile round trip to pick up equipment not the fault of the location but everything was clean and neat and the equipment was clean and ready to go
Marvin MatthewsPlace was supposed to open at 8am, nobody showed up until 845am. Then I was able to pick up the trailer I reserved. I was in a hurry, so I made the stupid mistake of not looking well at the trailer. I got 5 minutes down the road and something wasn't right, so I pulled over. Guess what I find? I had a flat tire. Probably the main thing that this site should have checked, they didn't check! So I called another uhaul place in town to see if I could go and get the tire replaced, but they said I had to take it back to where I picked it up at or call roadside service. I wasn't definitely not taking it back to where I got it so I asked for roadside service. Roadside service was amazing. San Luis AZ Uhaul site, horrible. Worst one I've ever had to deal with!
Jeffrey Dangelvery good
jorge carranzaThey were very helpful! even hooked the trailer for me while I was filling out the paperwork. THANK YOU!!
jesse bealEdgar is awesome!
Benjamin PuenteThe place is clean and quiet but if your late a payment and they have your bank info they will take small amounts of money with out notification or authorization that my friends is called stilling
LORETA GUZMAN | Overall ExperienceThe gentlemen that attended us had exceptional customer service. Definitely recommend this location.
Bridgette VeraI was originally to pick up in Yuma, however, I was mislead to believe that trailer would be there after a courtesy call from a rep. It was not which set my move 2.5 hours behind and I had to pay for movers to sot and wait for my arrival. The agents at the Yuma store blew me off and mentioned numerous times that the equipment I reserved would be there the following day. Absolutely ridiculous experience and I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again. The only thing that made this terrible situation reasonable was the agent in San Luis. He was efficient, transparent, and kind.
Amy VioletteGood experience & good help hitching up!!!
Scott NordmanVery professional service,
jesus ruizWe were told there were no spaces available. causing huge problem as there are no other available storages in town. Beyond unprofessional. I suggest you update your website.lack of commitment.

Genaro Rios BritoHave better lighting at pickup location. Have a proper code to get the freaking key & not leave the customer on hold. Also don't promise the customer that the vehicle will be ready at one location, then have to go 31.8 miles to another location & get it with only a 50 miles extra promise. Total bull-crap. Never gonna use Uhaul ever again. Screw it.

EDWARDO GONZALEZEasy, fast n courteous service
Benjamin PuenteVery helpful when explaining and preparing for the trip
nicholes millerThis pickup location was not where I made my reservation and I was not informed I had to drive another hour to this location to pick the truck up. I was also told my truck would have cruise control and it did not. My truck had a governor on it that would activate below the speed limit in some places making it a hazard driving.
Ben MacekWhen I made the reservation for this equipment I was told that I would be picking it up either at the 32nd Street or 3rd Avenue location. I was informed the day prior to picking up my truck and tow dolly that I would have to pick it up in San Luis, which was not convenient at all. It took two hrs out of moving day. When I reserved the truck, I specified I wanted to pick it up in Yuma. We had to load the truck in the hottest part of the day. When we got to the facility to pick up the truck, the computers were down. The young lady helping us told us we would have to wait 10 minutes. Thankfully, another lady came into the room and told the one helping us to get on the phone and start the rental agreement process. Why didn't she do that to begin with? I will not be referring anyone to this business.
june knightmy original drop off location was 4th U-Haul in Yuma and I decided to drop it off in San Luis AZ I had so much trouble just to change my location of drop off to this location Over the Phone until I kept calling in this young lady was actually glad to help me change it.
Carlos LoyaI have a gripe with the U Haul dealer in Yuma on 32nd Street. I reserved the trailer 6 weeks in advance and 24 hours prior to that I was told I needed to go to Blythe, CA to pick it up. I said there was no way I was doing that and fortunately they found one in San Luis I feel whoever originally took my order screwed up and luckily it only cost me a day..
matthew malkowiczNo comments. You good
ROBERTO VAZQUEZEn lo personal el servicio me pareció excelente y a un buen precio, todo muy claro y muy limpio
Margarita BeltranThe truck was in terrible condition and was not prepared for a cross country trip as it was low on oil and broke down halfway with a fluid leak. We had to call roadside assistance.
charles sendallMake sure truck has good tires. In addition, all the weather stripping came off the front windshield and created an unsafe situation with air pockets and a lot of noise. It was aggravating and created a need requiring multiple unplanned stops.
David RogersThank you so much, Marcia and Athena. You were very patient and professional with us when we needed to make changes to our reservation, and you were accommodating at every turn. It was a pleasure doing business with you! :o)
Christina WilliamsThe custumer service at Rio Colorado Dev. Was excellent!!
JOSE LOPEZI booked a rental over a week in advance. Don't wait until the day before to tell me you don't have the truck I requested and I can't pick it up in the city I need it in. I would have gotten the truck I needed in the city I needed from another company if I had been told up front uhaul could meet my needs but uhaul new that so they didn't tell me until the day before.
jason sunstromPersonnel was very helpful, professional and nice but equipment itself was faulty as right turn signal light was not working.
JOSE MUNOZFast service
JOE REYESI drove the 26 foot truck from Yuma, AZ to Prescott, AZ with a mostly full load. The trip went well for the most part, but the truck, with approximately 102,000 miles was experiencing some engine trouble. Most of the trip was made on relatively flat ground, but even then, when trying to get the truck up to speed, around 3500 to 4000 rpm the engine was misfiring. Upon reaching the mountains (Congress, AZ) the misfiring was particularly bad and making my way up hills was difficult and slow. The fuel efficiency was significantly reduced during this time period. Upon emptying the truck in Prescott, AZ, it was driven to Anthem, AZ for a dropoff. Even going down the hill to Anthem on the I-17 while empty the vehicle continued to misfire. I informed the Anthem location of the equipment malfunction. Also, the vehicle's transmission did not shift well when automatically shifting between gears or when attempting to shift from park to drive via the column shifter. It might need to be checked as well. All in all, not a bad experience apart from the engine trouble.
Douglas LewisThe truck ran strong, but at 65 miles an hour the cab shook so much that you could not see out of the mirrors,it was a miserable 16 hours,u-Haul needs to maintain a better maintenance program .thank you
Jerry McMillenI have no friends in San Luis. It wasn't 15 miles from my home in Yuma but almost 40. Due to a printer malfunction, I waited over an extra hour to pick up the truck, complete with a bag of cheetoes spilled under the seat. The vehicle, inside the cab also had a thick layer of dust. I didn't get to inspect the vehicle before signing the contact. That's partly on me, I know. But the inspection was overshadowed by the printing errors and time. Throwing in the commute to pick up the truck, I spent almost 4 hours getting it. This doesn't count the hour it took to pick up the car carrier from yet a different location. But you've not asked me to rate them. In the last 5 years my job has had me move 3 times. Despite having dedicated stores where I've lived and moved to, I've had to drive at least an hour round trip, despite the first two having a month's notice. When the pickup date arrives, loading should be the only thing on my mind, not driving across the county to various locations to get the equipment I've reserved. Nothing personal against San Luis. My complaint is Uhaul in general.
