The employee at the 76 Station, Marlene was super super amazing under the circumstances. She was new and not familiar with the rental part at the 76 station. When she had callEd the regional, for U-Haul, named Jeff, she was on speakerphone. Jeff basically could not be bothered and was very condescending because he was at a â€œbirthday party dinner â€œand if we could not figure out how to do the process on our phone we could go somewhere else. We have rented from you all in the past and are familiar with the process however because Marlene actually had the key inside with her, we thought that the process had to be done in person with her as did she. Not only did I find his comments very rude but very unprofessional not to mention when we got home and opened the back of the truck it had a dolly and about 11 packing parcels which had been left in the truck! We were expecting to find an empty truck. Clearly, no one had inspected the truck prior to our picking it up. As the â€œregionalâ€ Jeff, it might be helpful for him to have some training in professionalism and customer service.Maryanne C.

Have a U-hale trained employee available when vehicle in return so it can be inspected and billing closed. Parking for the vehicle could be better. Very narrow on side of building. I was concern the vehicle could be hit after I returned it. No one was there to inspect it. 8:40 pm. Also received the vehicle with only a little over 1/4 tank of gas. Now I get to fuel the vehicle twice. With this location a gas station & a fast food is all being ran by the same what seems to be a family run business. Very little attention is given to U hale- customers. The service stops after you received the vehicle. Had to follow up like a bill collector just to get the billing closed. I had enough stress with my move without this bad service. With the three stores in this one location ran by the same person the U-hale customer suffers. The equipment was much better than the last time I rented a U-hale. Please work on your customer service.Steve M.

I waited about 40 minutes to get assistance, because the service rep was also the cook at Flame Broiler. Decided to use the app to hopefully check out the vehicle, but couldn't do so since the mileage and the fuel range were incorrect. Needed to call customer service and they finally release the vehicle. When returning the vehicle, the cook slash service rep was busy so waited another 30 mins to check out. Couldn't do it online, because they needed to correct the mileage so i wouldn't get over charged by 200 miles. I get it, add on to the existing business to create more revenue. That's great, but all employees should be cross trained to work the gas, coffee, food, uhaul services so customers can be taken care of quickly. The only good thing was the location, but the service needs improvement or don't add on more than you can handle.daniel V.

Person working desk did not complete the rental process correctly. It was as if I never picked up the truck. I spent 45 minutes on the phone and being transferred 5 times before someone was able to fix my reservation so that I could drop off the truck at my scheduled location. Ridiculous!Andrew G.
What happened to the $19.99 rental fee, I was charged $50 and never used the truck because of a situation on my end, only used 10 miles...maybe....and still put gas in the tank when I returned it....can anyone please explain this to me..penny J.

Inside the cab was filthy. half eaten chocolate bar on the floor, dirty napkins on the dash, other trash in the vehicle, and dirty. The windshield was COVERED in bug guts and water stains. we spent 1/2 hour cleaning before starting our trip, but missed the chocolate bar until we found a bunch of our stuff with chocolate stains on it. The fuel was under 3/4 full, even though our contract indicated full. No explanations given for vehicle controls, such as tow/haul setting, etc.John W.

Double check to make sure that the correct number is listed on google and/or before a reservation is made, re-confirm the location of the UHaul prior to hitting the "reserve" button on the computer. I googled the number for the Garey Ave. location, called it, made an appointment, and then the customer service person told me afterwards that it was at the Rio Rancho location. Apparently canceling a reservation is also too difficult to do on the computer.Christle G.
