Well, first off, I rented a truck for 2 hrs and it cost $70! I find that a bit expensive for what I got...originally the cost was $56+ then for some unexplained reason another $12+ was also charged to me... $68+ for 2 or so hours? I could have, and, will go to a car rental agency, to which I'm sure it'll be less costly....I would like to see a itemized bill so I can see what I'm getting charged for!!

The only problem was that I called to get the location's policy on returning the trailer since they were closed on the weekend which I was due to return it and although I left a message on Wednesday twice, I had to call again on Friday because they never returned the call.

Was forced to take the insurance because machine was broken that would have allowed me to decline it. Rep called uhaul who said not to worry that they will credit me for the insurance when I returned the truck. When I got back to the location it was completely empty. I waited an hour inside and nobody ever came to the counter to even acknowledge me. I then called uhaul corporate to try to get the credit I was promised. I was then told that the rep who took the call earlier didn't take notes so I'm shit out of luck. Basically got conned out of $15.

New location, not really customer ready yet... they didn't have any furniture pads which I had reserved or the correct size dolly (though I was offered a larger size for the same price). The computer system wasn't working so everything was done over the phone which took longer. And the location only accepts credit cards which should be noted online.

This facility is wonderful! I reserved everything online, they responded immediately to confirm, easy to talk to, everything was quick, returning is just as simple. I really cannot think of anything that needs improving at this time. It was all perfect!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The truck radio was not working and the seatbelt sensor was not working as well. No music and a seatbelt alarm going off the entire 50-mile trip was not ideal.

This location for some unknown reason kept wanting to over charge me for service. They wanted to collect over double, close to triple my final pricing. I thought this was very unprofessional and gave U-Haul company a bad name.

One issue. Was sent a link for a confirmation, the phone number in link was a fax number, other than that getting the truck from lot without the office open on a Sunday was very easy with Easily followed instructions.

Pick up was 3 hours late. Over charged for gas. Put in 5 gallons and was still charged $33 for gas. I only drove 15 miles. Very unhappy with uhaul.

The person I interacted with was nice to me but was rude to another employee and I overheard that. My trailer was not checked in after it was returned and it took almost an hour on the phone to correct the issue.

The facility was filthy and disorganized. The staff was oblivious to the needs and concerns of the customers. You were on your own to back in the trailer and to remove car and disconnect the trailer. Little to no assistance was provided. I would not use this location again nor would I recommend it to friends. It reflected very poorly on uHauls normally fine reputation. Additionally, it would be good to explain the challenge of getting a cash deposit back with a one way move. It took a couple hours of phone calls and being put on hold to get our cash deposit returned to us. Had I known I would have put the transaction on a credit card.

This location has the nicest, friendliest and helpful staff. I would recommend this location to anyone. I have to use these trucks often and when ever I can, I use this one local to me. That is the location on S. Cherry St., Wallingford.

When making the reservation it was not clear that I would need to download the app and sign in and provide all the information myself. That was the only frustrating thing. I thought I was going to be dealing with an actual person.

A four hour rental and just one fast pick up and drop off. Returned the four hour rental within first hour and put more then used gas. Just a little expensive, 45 dollars plus gas. If I went to Lowe's like I did last time, 21 dollars just u haul is much more but great truck and very nice counter help.

Rented a 17' truck on 7/7 and when I picked it up the counter rep told me verbally that the truck had a full tank of gas which it did not. It was half way between 3/4 and full. When I dropped of the truck I put gas in that was clearly more then it had when I picked it up yet I was charged 9.03$ for gas. I guess I'll live and learn I should have gone back in to show the rep that the truck did not have a complete full tank. I might rent another Uhaul but it will not be from this location.

I waited 15 minutes before someone cake to the counter, I was double charged and when I dropped of the truck no one was there even though the office was unlocked, lights on and supposed to be open. Myself and another customer had to drop our keys in the box because no one was there to check the trucks back in. I called the numbers on the door to no answer and one employee walked by but told us he couldn't help and kept walking.

The guy who I dealt with was great, no complaints there however I would have appreciated the website telling me there wasn't a car trailer at the Clinton location when I reserved it rather than waking up at 7am to a call from U-Hual telling me my options were New Haven or Wallingford...also would have been nice to drop the trailer off at the Clinton location. I understand the trailer may need to be local but doesn't U-Hual have drivers for that or something? I don't understand why the customer (who is already paying $70 for the rental) has to bring it all the way back to Wallingford. That's your guy's problem not the customers.

My reservation got completely screwed up. I flew cross country to be able to pick up this U-Haul. Two days before I was supposed to pick it up, U-Haul called me to tell me that they didn't have the 5 x 8 closed trailer, but they had a 5 x 9 open trailer. Driving and moving cross country, that's not going to work. After numerous phone calls, and a significant amount of stress as well as a variety of different responses to this problem, I was finally able to get the trailer I had ordered. I think part of the reason was that my only other acceptable option was for me to drive somewhere and get a larger trailer, but U-Haul wanted me to drive an hour to pick up the smaller trailer instead of getting it from the location I had initially reserved it it. Then I got phone calls from the gentleman at the place I was originally supposed to pick it up, as he drove and picked up the U-Haul at the further location but no one told him that I was going to pick it up the following day if it had to be picked up an hour away. By the time I got his message, his office was closed. There's a lot of communication issues with U-Haul.

The guy tried to charge me for 2 days when I was only renting the trailer for not even 24 hours. His other customers were there for his other business and there was a lot of cursing going on. Only good part about this was that the trailer was brand new. Other than that I'll make sure never to rent from that location again. And this was only because the original location I chose had an issue so this was my only option.

Front door to office was locked, parked truck and dropped key in Dropbox. Went to leave when an employee came out the back door and I was rudely told I was parked in the wrong spot and needed to move. I informed the employee that I had already put my key in the drop box since the location appeared to be closed. Employee told me they would handle it and walked away

Not mix up trucks. I was charged $246 for driving 8 miles. I am currently disputing the bill since I only drove the vehicle.8 of a mile 4 times round trip. I also put gas in the truck to fill it $7.19. But I was charged for driving 242 miles which I did not!!!!
