This was a horrible experience! I have driven multiple box trucks with Uhaul several timea over the past few years and this truck should not have been allowed on the road, much less to travel out of state! I tried calling Rocky's several times to confirm my reservation with no answer. Corporate Uhaul changed my location, ever after I reserved and confirmed a Scottsdale location online. This was done very much against my wishes. When I arrived at Rocky's via Uber (after a flight) there was no manager or english-speaking rep onsite. The only available truck was grimy/dirty, had no radio, dangerously low tires and a bad engine with more than 128,000 hard-driven miles. Without another option, I loaded the Uhaul (by myself) and began driving north on I-17 in mountainous terrain. The truck lost steering and braking power as I crested a large hill at General Crook Trail exit and I almost went over the cliff! Cars and semis speeding over the hill could not see me balancing on the side of the cliff shoulder and came dangerously close to hitting me. Had the typical driver been behind the wheel instead of me, I believe they would have died driving right off the cliff. I am extremely disappointed and traumatized by this whole experience. This dealer obviously has no regard for safety and Uhaul has no safety practices to ensure their trucks are road-safe. Had I had an accident, Uhaul would have blamed the driver and not the faulty truck. This is just so wrong! Please have someone from the corporate office contact me immediately. Thank you for your time.

Stephen ReagorThere was no customer service at all because it was at a third-party. The person that was there at the third-party location didn't know anything that was going on. They didn't know how to help me they had to call their manager to help with the pick up process then I had to do mobile check-in, which was horrible. The system kept going down, which was wasting a lot of time, because I only had the U-Haul for three hours then when I finally got all of that to work, I got the code to unlock the box with the key in there, but when I opened it, there was no key so the person there again had to call their manager and figure out what was going on and that took another 30 minutes and finally they gave me a key
Lakoya FreemanThere was no key upon opening the lock box there were also issues with the app which interfered with returning the truck.

Jonathan FilardoShowed up and was told to go to another location because the U-Haul guy wasn’t in. Called corporate and said to go back inside. Finally got my truck at an hour after with no compensation or apology. Do not book here!

Donia IbrahimThe service was just ok. The truck needed some repairs n attention. There were engine lights on. There was a truck symbol on the screen view. Not sure what that was. The oil change light was on as well. I brought the truck back early. Only went 10 miles. The gas hand didnt move. Granted I didnt put any gas in because the hand didnt move. But I should have put some gas in. But I brought the truck back early n was still charged for 2 days. I called at 9am as soon as the business opened.
Melinda DillonThe furniture pads I requested weren’t in the truck and now I have to wait to see if UHaul is going to approve a refund for the furniture pads. Which is ridiculous because they were not in the truck.
Kimberly SwirtzThey didn't have my reservation or truck ready and it took forever to finalize everything. Then when I finally got my truck, it was uncleaned, damaged and later, I had to be call for repairs, before I could take my trip. Extremely Unsatisfied; especially since they made me go really far just to pick up the truck, instead of one of the locations near me!!
Angela LovelaceI would only recommend if the friend didn't need extra equipment. I had to go to the larger UHaul place down the street to get a dolly and blankets, even though I had requested them in the initial reservation.

Alvaro BerriosTruck was not cleaned, smelled of smoke and overall not great. Had to wait the better part of 30 minutes and I was the only Uhaul customer there.
