No issue with the pickup location but the process from reservation to drop-off on the part of u-haul was disappointing. I scheduled a hitch install for 10/8 so that I could reserve trailer to pickup that day or the next. Somewhere between my scheduling the install and that Friday it was changed to Monday with no communication. I went and purchased hitch and lighting kit and installed myself. I utilized the online checkin option when picking up this trailer but apparently that did not submit correctly as I received multiple calls on Monday asking if I was keeping my pickup and install appointmen, I had already drove to New Mexico and unloaded and returned the trailer at that point. So while there was no issue with the pickup location or the drop location, the overall business process and practices displayed by uhaul was supremely lacking.James R.

This is the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. We use your services over two weeks ago and you called us this week saying the truck hadn't been returned and we went from a $70 charge from it being finalized to over $100 you guys are awful I will never use U-Haul again. I was not happy about the time, I reserved this long enough in advance but still wasn't sble to pickup till 2 hours later than I wanted so which put us 3 hours behind. Then on top of that I was charged twice as much because they said I had a truck rented which I didn't they credit my account, then because the trailer I originally rented wasn't available I was told I'd get a bit bigger one, the lady from 800 # said I would be charged the same price of $14.95, I wasn't, I was charged for the next size up, I paid 18.95. It all worked out, but the process was a bit messed up, wasn't able to return it till after dark because of the lateness of pickup. But over all we were good thank youDIANE P.

When I got there they had me do everything online, which is good. Once I finalized the process and everything went through, they had someone go out and verify they had the correct trailer, which they did not. Waited there for over 30 minutes so that they could sort everything out and still did not reflect the correct trailer in my contract, I asked that there was an advertisement on the website that I would get $50 dollars if they did not have the correct trailer, they just told me that they had the correct one but it was messed up on the website 10 minutes later I was on my way, the whole process took more than what I expected.JULIO E.

I had a problem with the gas gauge. I ended up putting in about $25 more gas than required as the gas gauge did not read the gas right away. It did not show full (past full) until at least 10 minutes of driving. This costed me and I was quite disappointed in this portion of my rental.Kim C.

I reserved a 17 foot truck days ahead of the moving day. However, when I went to pick it up, they only had 14 and a 26 foot truck. This was very inconvenient because I needed the 17 foot truck. However, they kept my business by offering a discounted rate. Overall it was fine but I still wish I could have gotten the 17 foot truck.steven G.

This is not the location that was given to us for pickup. At the time of the order we were told that it would be 2929 Washington Blve, Baltimore, and that was changed without our notice. Also we gave instructions to call on our cell phone but this location used our home phone instead so we couldn't be reached. Meanwhile, we called the 2929 location repeatedly, and were repeatedly put on hold for 30 minutes or more. When we finally did reach someone, they couldn't find our order. We lost at least 3 hours in moving time just trying to reach someone. While the Biker's Point location was fine, 2929 was horrible. The problem is reflected by this poor form, which will not reflect the problem due to its poor designALIETTE L.
The process to rent the trailer was much more complex and time consuming than renting a car. The clerk had many pages of web forms to fill out, and required a lot of unrelated information. Who cares what year, make and model vehicle I have? You could streamline this process and make service much faster, which would really help at busy locations.JOHN S.

Individual who helped me was not really knowledgeable, online price for 15K SafeTow insurance was 20.00, but in the store it turned out to be 40.00. The answer I received, "Maybe because it is the weekend?" Then when asked if individual could hook up auto-transport, we were asked to do it ourselves. Eventually the other individual (who was busy waiting on other customers) helped hook up the auto transport. On Sunday I called the customer support number, and was in a loop. I finally had to click random buttons in hopes to get in touch with someone who was able to patch me through to the customer support technician. The technician was helpful, and said that a case worker would call me within 48 hours about my claim. It has been 48 hours and I have not received a call, or a refund for the insurance price difference.Jeana P.

The Gentleman who helped us did not know about the equipment. He was very helpful but had never used any of the stuff himself. This makes it very hard to make a decision. He did not know how to operate it, and we were told to read the directions. While everything turned out okay, this location needs to have its knowledge base worked on.
