Chico U-Haul service locations are actually closer
Michael SchwartzIt’s very close to where I’m at it did take a day and a half to get ahold of somebody. It was easy to drop of once I knew where the box was to drop off the key. Can I get a U-Haul without my license?
Jennifer AddisonRepresentative was not in office, and wanted to push rental appointment an hour after my 9:30 am request. I indicated that was unacceptable given my window to work in would end 2 pm. After meeting in office to rent the situation was slowed because I had no reservation. Apparently Uhaul only rents with reservation, so I had to sit through the reservation process before I could rent the truck. After reservation the Representative was trying to hand me the keys without a walk through. I mentioned I would not be comfortable renting without mutual walk through and he consented. Overall your customer service left a lot to be desired, and the fees and charges were more than expected. The truck says $19.95 in town. Final cost $58+. If gas wasn't replaced the quoted rate was $15/gallon. Completely unacceptable. Get your life!
Allen CreithtonLighting for after-hours drop off was poor. Sign and location of drop box was obscure, and we didn't find it for 5-10 minutes in the dark, using cell phone light. Signage needs improvement. I was unsure where to leave the truck. Location geographically convenient, and the staff person there I spoke to the following day was delightful and helpful.

Beatrice McdowelWe reserved and paid for a dolly, rolling cart and packing blankets. When we picked up the truck, they did not have any of the items. We arrived on time at 8am for pick up and the location wasn’t open yet; the attendant had been out of town for a week and had no info on our reservation or requests. Also, I ordered and paid for mattress covers at the location on Fair Street in Chico and when I went there to get them, they did not have my order. I still show it paid and ready for pick up if I sign in. Also, I reserved a pick up 1/2 mile from my home and picked up the truck in another town.
JANET PETERSONI called and left a message for them to call me if there was something that needed my attention and what did I get a f ing extra hundred dollars added to my bill and no idea why. I had a shity time the last time I dealt with the A Hole in Paradise, I will not do it again. Nobody was there to talk to it sucks. Nathan

Laura CerraObscure location. Not easily accessible. Improve on better signage. Make your location easier to locate. It took an extra 15+ mins to locate actual U-Haul trailer for drop off. The experience was very frustrating and inconvenient.
