Let people know how they can return the rental even when the place is closed, Amanda did a great job in my rental return. I will definitely be using U Haul again.

Jason HWhen we picked up the Uhaul there was 38 miles to empty and by the time we had pulled to the end of the street it had dropped to 30 miles to empty. We barely made it the three miles to a gas station before we were completely on empty. The transmission was terrible. The truck was not going over 35 miles an hour without shaking the entire truck. The people were EXTREMELY nice and I appreciated all their help, it was just the truck itself that was in rough shape.

Andrew MStaff was friendly and efficient. The location is horrible. In my wildest dreams I would never place any retail establishment where this UHaul dealer is located. The neighborhood is among the most crime infested in all of Bakersfield. There are crack addicts and drug dealers openly negotiating drug sales all around the location in broad daylight. I would recommend any who need to frequent this location be armed and bring others with them who are also armed especially at or near dark!

Jerry SThe cab was not maintained at all. When I got in the vehicle I noticed there was pieces, not crumbles, pieces of granola bars, trash such as used paper towels I’m the doors, French fries, open bag of cookies, dirt everywhere. Was absolutely disgusting. Not cleaned whatsoever.

JERILYN SThe uhaul location in Bakersfield called Buena burito barrato, has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, then the uhaul representatives were giving me incorrect information and causing me to spend more money than needed to. The whole experience made me never want to use Uhaul again.

jaun cThe low lights didn’t work. There was oil on the floor of the trailer which I had to lay a mat down and the trailer creaked like it was going to break in half. Might want to wash it out and make sure it is stable. Great service though and trailer worked out ok
Jennifer DTrailer had faulty lights and missing secondary safety chain for tires. Person working desk said they would give me a discount on it but never did and charged me regular price. Luckily I had my own magnetic towing lights. I would never rent from this location again. Keep your equipment well maintained for future use and keep your word to your customers.

Jerry SI had made arrangements with the manager of the white lane location to specifically drop this truck off to the Rush Express location. She said that I would be doing them a favor to take it there and then after doing so, I was charged $20 for taking it there. This is no ok and when I call the 800 number to complain, it’s over an hour wait to speak to someone.
