The hitch electric connector didn’t work properly and when I mentioned it I was told not to worry that others had mentioned that problem. However that didn’t alleviate the anxiety I had driving on the highway when all of a sudden I didn’t have proper lights nor the time I spent trying to figure out where my wiring might be broken.

Marjan MNot the fault of this specific location but I can't believe U-Haul is still confirming bookings for trucks/trailers that aren't available. Cancelling the reservation 2 days before or forcing customers to swap equipment and/or locations is unacceptable. You're lying to customers when you make reservations that you don't plan on filling and this should be illegal!!!

Dean WVery happy with the whole experience at the Maple Ridge location.. 9 foot cargo van had lots of room, in great shape; and was a plain white van without ads on it so that was nice. Michelle was great to deal with - call her to get directions as Google isn't accurate. Van was ready to go and the process was smooth and efficient. Will rent from her again.

Michael SPerson didn't answer the phone after multiple calls and the person was not available for the agreed upon pick up time. It seemed really unprofessional and stressful for a first time user of uhaul.

Gregg BThe 15' UHaul I rented was returned in Maple Ridge to Dewdney Trunk Rd a day earlier than we had to return it. My son returned it for me and mentioned it went okay on the return. Said it was a strange area for a drop off since there is a least a couple of UHaul places in the downtown core of Maple Ridge that would be much easier for a drop off. .

MUHAMMAD YRyans Rental was easy and straightforward to deal with I would use this location again. I cant say the same thing about U-Haul Abbotsford. Don't use U-Haul in Abbotsford save yourself the stress. I had reserved the truck pickup in the evening using the 24/7 pickup. Completed the online verification prior as well as calling ahead to ensure truck was there and good to go. When I arrived at U-Haul Abbotsford found the truck and the lockbox only to have the U-Haul app had removed my reservation, spent an hour on the phone with U-Haul 1 800 contact # U-Haul told me they didn't have the truck available. Absolutely embarrassing for this company, ended up having to arrange a new truck rental an hour away. Ryans Rentals was excellent and they cared about the renter. U-Haul Abbotsford I will never use again and I would advise anyone else to not use U-Haul Abbotsford. My 20 min truck pickup took 4 hours Was suppose to have a credit applied to my bill as from customer service because of U-Haul messing up my reservation when I received the bill was charged full price Bottom line don't use U-Haul Use Clearway Rentals/Penske anybody but U-Haul save your time/money/stress Embarrassing

Dave HThe choice of drop off location was dictated by my going to visit family in Maple Ridge. It was located in the woods with only a drop off key box. No personnel were present and only a street number on the entrance to the property.

Mike Mhad it booked for pick up in port moody on May 16 2020@ 7am got a text on the Thursday saying to pick it up at 9 in surrey bc.on the Saturday morning. after i had arranged for people to help load, I was not happy so had to drive almost 45 minutes each way on a Friday afternoon to pick up so I could keep with a very tight time line so not sure why you have a contract .

Lito FSpent 40 min to find the location. Circled around. Location is terrible in the middle of the forest. After that Uhaul requested to pay $5 for extra mileage. Couldn't find. Called scheduling support. They transferred me to Maple Ridge, nobody responded. Then call the main number, they said we will get the location to call me, nobody did.
Michael LSorry I don't know the women's name at Rileys Rentals but she was phenomenal. She was professional and friendly, efficient and made my experience worth the drive out to pickup the truck. Please keep her.
