System was down which was out of their control but then I got charged over $100 more than I was supposed to be due to information from the previous customer not being properly handled while system was down. Records should’ve been physically recorded while system was down then input once fixed, could’ve avoided the hassle of calling corporate to fix the issue. Also, during open hours, they did not answer their phone after 3 calls.
Kamryn KI am a short person, so I needed to adjust the side mirrors. They were very hard to move; in fact I had to ask a man at a gas station to help. Otherwise everything was fine

JENNIFER RI found a cockroach in my Uhaul. the guy had told me the Uhaul had just come in, and I asked if he needed time to check it over and he told me he did not. So im very unhappy, had I not of found that that could have given me a bad infestation in my new home

Cheryl SGentlemen who helped checkout my uhaul was fantastic! He was able to change my reservation once I realized the uhaul I reserved was too large. They had a drop box for after hour drop off’s. He was pleasant and made the overall experience an A+

Rosalind LMy pick up location was changed at the last minute to this location over 45 minutes from where i lived. The truck was incredibly old and had no cruise control or modern amenities. When moving over 400 miles those things are important and should be known beforehand. Also was told I would have to do mobile check-in since this place didn't open until an hour after i requested to pick up the truck. It took 55 minutes to complete the mobile check-in, it was an extremely cumbersome process and I was overall very disappointed

dale gThe box on the truck was dented and scratched up, the windshield wipers didnt work while the engine was running and it was raining during my move, the radio didnt work and the blower motor didnt work so I couldnt use the defrost. I would have returned it but had all of my help coming on a Saturday and my uhaul options in this area were very limited.
Alex SDrop off was was smooth, the staff was helpful and friendly. However, yet again uhaul itself is to blame for more issues. The day before drop off, I spoke with a representative confirming drop off location and time. After I dropped off the equipment, I received an email later that day saying that I had missed my drop off time frame. After calling in to correct them, I was informed that they had me dropping off the equipment at an entirely different facility, despite my confirmation the day before. Just more problems caused by lazy record keeping and bad communication. I normally don't write bad reviews, but after spending nearly six hours on the phone or in person trying to rectify their mistakes, I felt the need to write this all out as a warning to others. The staff at their locations are fantastic, but corporate is incompetent and lazy. They made an already busy move into more of a hassle than they're worth. Only their local managers and employees are worth anything.
ANDREW BThe gentleman at this facility told me I could drop my truck off it any place that take u-haul. I later found out that it should have went to a different location. The original drop off location just called me and told me that he should have not told me that. I am afraid I will get charged for a wrong destination fee.
Ronald WCan U-Haul not guarantee availability of pickup at the time requested? We were alarmed that our email confirmation stated a 4 PM pickup rather than the 11 AM we thought was agreed upon. The later time would have undone plans for our 225 mile trip and our helpers and driver. Fortunately, Nikki in the Reservation Management Dept (877-801-3484) was kind enough to tell me that our reserved truck was a local and that the previous renter most likely had returned it the day before. And indeed our truck was waiting for us! Please give Nikki a raise!
Michael BFirst to get told that I could pick up my pre-registered truck at one location only to get sent to not one, but multiple locations till they finally got my rental available; however it was left on empty at before we could even load we had to have yet again another delay...gas in the rental. It was just an awful experience I pray I never have to do it again; however I will be choose another trucking company, because of my less than happy experience.

THOMAS TDrop box was used for early return and is a very convenient item of U-Haul.
debra nPick up was great. New procedure for drop off was unsatisfactory. To require everyone to use a cell phone as a computer is unworkable - especially for the older generations who do not use the "smart phone" as their only means of communications.

Zachary KOk, I would only recommend the location to a friend because the gentleman there was very helpful and accommodating. My experience with Uhaul itself was an absolute nightmare. Not one of the several "guarantees" was carried through. Wrong pickup time and place, wrong size truck that had cracker crumbs all over the floor, and no appliance dolly. If you plan to rent from them, keep your expectations very low or plan to be very disappointed.

Robert WWas overcharged. Agent never returned my phone calls regarding the overcharge. Location was to open at 0930 hrs, and he rolled into the parking lot at 0935. Afterwards, it took him another 15 minutes to fire up his computer system. Unprofessional and unacceptable.
JUSTIN OTruck was dirty and we had to wait an extra 35 minutes after arriving at the pick up, becuz the "paperwork guy" wasn't there yet. Meanwhile our movers were waiting at the house and getting paid by the hour..
jessica gMy reservation was for 9:30 am . The guy was late, finally showing up at 9:45 with a Sheetz bag in his hand. Moving day is stressful enough without a 20 minute delay because some guy wanted breakfast.
VICTOR VI called this location five times within two days to verify the required drop off date/time/location. I left three messages and received no call back. I unfortunately had to just leave the trailer in their parking lot, on the drop off date. hoping I had the right place. Customer service at this location was not available at all.
DANIELLE FThe service and attention we received was very good. There were only 2 O rings in the trailer, on opposite ends which made it difficult to secure our cargo. It would be helpful for the trailers to be checked before they are rented to ensure they are in good repair.

JULIE KThe customer service I received on the 1 800 GO UHAUL phone line was awful and incompetent. I first called on Thursday to reserve a 15 ft truck the representative had me on hold for 45 minutes. I received a text message an hour later that the Uhaul I reserved was 2 hours away in another town. I then went online to change my preference and saved this change. Friday morning I look online at my reservation once again and see the pickup is still for Johnstown Pa not Indiana Pa. I called 1 800 GO UHAUL and spoke with a representative about the issue but he transfered me back to the main menu. I called a second time and was placed on hold for 15 minutes. The third time I called ... the representative transferred my call to Baltimore Maryland? The fourth time I called back and cancelled my initial reservation out of frustration with your incompetent customer service. Two hours later I called back and this time someone on your end listened to me. She said she would note the issues I had. Had the initial representative listened I would not have been so upset. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES HOW TO PROVIDE COMPLEE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT.
