Truck was absolutely worn out with over 100,000 miles! Occupying this equipment was like sitting in an ash tray due to prior smokers. I ordered 20 blankets and got six! I ordered a hand cart and got none. When I returned the truck, I told the attendant about the missing hand cart and he said they didn't have any. I told him about the missing blankets and he said those, along with the cart would be taken off my bill. GUESS what was still on my bill? I used the â€œtruck shareâ€ system and it froze up during the process. UHaul has really, REALLY declined. I could not recommend them.John S.

When I arrived for my mobile pick-up the operator was not present. I was having an issue with my mobile pick-up for my truck (the U-Haul website couldn't locate me even though I had enabled location permissions and followed all of their given instructions) and the sign on the door said the owner was "on the lot"... as best I could tell, he was not "on the lott" and, in fact, he was off the premise (I could be wrong about the operator's prior location). I arrived at noon for my noon pick-up and I did not see the operator until 12:08 (my estimate). It was frustrating to me that FIRST, the website was not communicating with my phone to get my location even though I followed the websites instructions and SECOND, it was not clear when someone would be available to help me. When the operator did arrive, he was friendly, professional, personable, and very helpful. ALSO, the A/C in the truck wasn't functioning properly ... it was blowing out cold air BUT when turned to the highest settings... the cold air was barely moving out of the vent... clearly there was a problem with the blower.AUSTIN S.

The business hours are posted on the door. The Open light was flashing in the window. We were at the location well before closing and yet it was locked up tight and no one was around. We were able to finalize our rental online, but we were disappointed that the company was not around.SUSAN S.

No one answered the phone when I called to verify my reservation as instructed by your text. It was extremely difficult to get the vehicle checked out on the mobile system. Directions for checking the vehicle out, having to be there at the exact time, alternate contact and securing the key should be more clear. I would like to recognize and commend Michael Carter, the Area Field Manager for excellent (5-star) customer service! I had visited this location to reserve a 10' truck. The owner said he would accommodate me, even though this would be a difficult truck to get. As my move time got closer, I wanted to verify my reservation. I could not communicate with the owner of the business. I checked on-line and saw my reservation was cancelled! I walked to the location. Luckily, I ran into Mr. Carter. He told me the sad news of why the owner could not be there. He as able to restore my reservation. He explained that he could not get my desired truck. He upgraded my reservation at no extra charge. I was able to quickly move, return truck same day as promised. Mr. Carter saved me hundreds of dollars on my overall move bill.Joseph P.

Called this location 10+ times and did not get an answer one time. We needed to let them know we were dropping off the truck at a later time and needed some info. No answer after calling many times at different times as well.Joseph H.
The trailer is said to be a 6'x12' trailer. It is 6' wide after you get through the 57 inch opening where the gate is attached. This matters a lot when you are loading. If I ever need another rental I will use salt-n-pepper or the place where the very helpful lady was that set up the reservation. A lot of the other uhaul places I called were not at all helpful.Jimmy H.

We made an appointment to pick up the UHaul at 7:30am. Salt and Pepper Grills doesn't open until 9:00am. We had to come back once they opened. Why is there even an option to set an appointment at 7:30am to pick up a truck if it isn't actually an option. It's a waste of time and money on my part. The owner didn't seem bothered by this which makes them unprofessional. I will not rent from the location again. They are not helpful, courteous, or professional in the offering of this product. After returning the UHaul back to this location I was charged more money and wanted information as to why. I called Salt and Pepper Grills and was told it was UHaul's deal "I only enter in the numbers" and to call them. It seems this establishment sees some kind of gain from offering UHauls products, but is super lazy in their delivery of the product. They are not going to make it their problem to offer much service outside of giving you a truck. If you are expecting any real communication or understanding as far as what they're part in the deal actually is (the transaction of the vehicle) you are not going to get it. It is clear they don't think this is their problem. If you want better service I would suggest going somewhere else and working with people who aren't lazy.DANNY J.

I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone each time I called. The location wasn't opened when I arrived to pick up my truck and I had to wait with no idea if anyone was going to show up. The process for drop off wasn't properly explained. I'm pretty sure I was charged for something because I didn't confirm drop off. I am very disappointed with the overall experience.Lisa S.

Reserved a trailer and appliance dolly online for this location. When I went to pickup both, only trailer was there; no dolly. I had to go another location to pickup the dolly. Not good. When I first got to the location the guy said that the trucks were all reserved I had previously looked up locations before arrival and it said he had trucks available. I go to my car look up available trucks again and his location was still available. So I ordered my truck came back in and the guy checked me out. I reserved the truck for 9 hours which would have me back after closing. Not once was I told I needed to check the truck in online when I drop it off. I was told and I quote "If its after closing when you bring it back just put the key in the drop box and I'll check it in when I get here in the morning". I receive my invoice the next day I have an extra $50 charge which was for another day which I did not have the truck. Tried to call the office 4 times no answer called another number I was told to contact uhaul they'll handle it and was hung up on. This is the worst experience I have ever had with uhaul and I have been using them for years.Eric E.

First of all, we were not allowed to use a location nearest to our house! We were told we had to use the Jones Valley location because others didn't accept the tow dolly. That is a lie! The location closest to our house DID accept the tow. Second, we were to return the equipment on Monday and they are closed! How can a U-Haul business be closed on a Monday when most people move on the weekends??Kathy B.

I got a online quote for a 10' truck for $119 online then called customer service to verify the mileage, The lady told me the price went up to $160 and she did not see my quote based on the quote number. When I logged in I saw where the quote said $160. It appears someone changed the quote in your system and removed the first quote for $119. When I got off the phone I did another quote and it was still $119. Did not understand that whole run around. Called back to complain and they put me on hold and never answered back. I let it stay on hold for 3 + hours just to see of someone would pick up. Suggestion, put the mileage and all information on the online quotes so you don't have to call before purchasing. Make it easy for customer service to see the quotes based on the quote number and stand by the quote price for at least 1 hour. Also when I scheduled a pickup location convenient to me they did not have anything but 15' trucks so I had to drive 35 - 40 minutes to a different location that did not have the 10' truck I ordered either but at least he gave me a 15' truck since that's all he had. If he could do that why couldn't the first Uhaul vendor that I picked for pickup do it? I was not pleased with your quote system and Uhaul customer service was not good.Anthony G.
