I did have a problem with suresafe I opted out only to be charged $15 . Additionally the gas measurement at pickup was not accurate . I had the truck for less than 2 hours and drove 23 miles and put 3 + gallons in the tank. I wa s charged $20 for gas. I have disputed both charges. It was represented the the tank was full at pickup and that was not accurate.

Daniel BrudyHire customer service reps that do not lie to potential guests. The gentleman at the Salvaged pgh business was excellent, and very nice. But the lady who took my reservation, lied to me, and treated me like crap. I have complained once already, and will probably choose to use penske or budget next time I need a rental.
William FryeSystem issue. I ordered U-haul through mobile app. While creating I selected counter checking but when I reached the pick up location I got to know that self checkout only. So, App or website didn't show the self checkout option. SO I had to cancel and create again for order with self checkout. I think I should not be allowed to select the counter checkout if counter checkout not available when I am creating the order. Please note that this comment only to make your system more accurate. Sharon StametsI did the online pick up and it wouldn't work properly so I called uhaul and they wouldn't help me. The lady only sent me a video of how to check in and was rude. I had already followed the steps but it wouldn't work when I clicked check in. It was also ridiculously expensive. I was charged over $300 for less than 8 hours. I missed out on 1.5 hours of my reserved time due to the website not working so I was not able to move all of my stuff in time.
Kenneth GaffneyThe staff was friendly and very helpful. The only complaint I had was with the check-in experience using the app. I picked up the rental vehicle after hours and nearly wasn't able to complete it. The app was very difficult to navigate, had to repeat many of the requests multiple times, such as photo uploads and certain responses. The instructions were not clear cut. Luckily, someone nearby was able to assist, they too had a great deal of difficulty.

James MakerThe online pick up and return process was a bit frustrating. Prior to rental day The customer should be advised about the passport or second ID verification needed. Not everyone has a passport with them at all times and knowing that they need to have a person “on-call” to verify who the person renting the Uhaul is would have been helpful ahead of rental day. It was not mentioned in the video. Also the return process took an extra 45 minutes simply because the wording “miles traveld” for the odometer reading at the time of return should have simply said “Odometer reading” since that was the number that was actually required. NOT “Miles traveled” which is a completely different number.
