The guy was nice. But we paid with a pre paid card and had to give another 100 dollars for a deposit we did that in cash. When we got there to pick up box truck he said it was just returned and hadn't been cleaned up so they pressure washed outside and inside box truck but did not clean the inside of the cab... Ok when we dropped box truck off in Calabash NC I told the lady we did a 100 dollar cash deposit and she told me they don't deal with cash that I needed to call the place I rented it from. So I called him and he his response was well I told you some places don't deal with cash that he could not give it back to me to call U haul to get your deposit back....

Dont promise me a truck in a certain date and then
rent it someone else. I made my reservations 3 weeks ahead of time. Then I had to drive to another town 30 minutes away, then it took me 3 hours to finally get them contract signed because of a computer glich. All people I talked to were very nice but I talked to 6 different people to get to the final supervisor for truck rentals. She was perfect. Knowledgable, and compensated me for the troubles. Tough, long day!

I was very disappointed I tried to rent the truck using my card the lady said it wouldn't go thru so I had to use cash gave her 100 dollars get the keys goes to the truck the check engine light was on I told the lady she said it was fine after that they charge my card 47.97 for the uhaul so I called the lady back she said it was a mistake and that they was gonna refund me when I brought the truck back I returns the truck expecting to get Metra money back they took and was told its not there problem it's all on uhaul so the money I was expecting to get back was suppose to befor a hotel room for me and my kids they obviously didn't care and said I had to wait for uhaul to give me my money back which cause me and my kids to have to sleep in my car in a hotel parking lot and that's where I'm at now so this definitely wasn't a good experience

Have the Uhaul ready. The woman I spoke with stated it would be ready upon opening, but the staff was late and the van hadn't been inspected. Luckily, I was still able to meet my timeline, but it was a 30-minute endeavour that didn't need to happen.

I opted for outside pickup so I wouldn't have to go into the establishment due to covid-29. When I got there it took about 15 minutes to get everything situated on my phone to rent it. Then I had to go inside to get the key. There should be a lock box on the trucks for curbside pickup.

There was a $100 deposit when you use cash. That was not mentioned when I booked online. Also, there was quite a wait even though I completed the check in on line.

They cancelled my reservation and I had to call the 800 number. It took me over an hour to get things straight out. when I return the truck it was closed and I had to call the 800 number. It took me to Monday afternoon to get everything done.

Outstanding service the Gentleman that hooked up the 6 x 12 trailer. Told me step by step how he was hooking it up. So if I had to unhook the trailer I could hook it back correctly. While using the trailer I did unhook. With that said I was able to hook it back up correctly. Will use this dealer for next rental.

The truck rented was in bad need of an alignment. It had a bad shake in window as well as the entire truck. The truck had not been cleaned out and had half smoked cigarettes in ashe tray. Not a good experience at all.
