Sam’s treated me professionally and well. I do think you should tweak your billing system: It’s a bit cumbersome to actually charge the credit card based only on a mileage estimate. Why not wait to process the charge until actual miles are known. You already have the card number.

I have a video when I picked up the truck its mileage was 79255.0 when I returned the truck to the parking lot the mileage was 79262.2 however today when I got the receipt it says I drove 13.07 miles. Which is not true. It's a fraud. I demand to investigate and let me know the result of the investigation.
Danil KI booked my Uhaul online and got a different price and mileage compared to what the store gave me. It was frustrating since I needed the Uhaul so I couldn't make last minute changes. I think the Uhaul company is a scam and I wouldn't go with them anymore for future.

Breanna NI went into the location (sams tires and wheels) and the guy couldn’t find my reservation when I gave him my first and last name and my confirmation number and even showed him the confirmation email with the location then he called his boss and he found it. Then they said the only truck they had available was a 15’ even though I reserved a 10’ and wouldn’t make the price different, then once I said I didn’t want to pay for a 15’ truck because that’s not what I ordered the boss said cancel her reservation and I didn’t have time to deal with finding another truck so I ended up paying the amount which I think is ridiculous. I asked why the 10’ truck wasn’t there when I reserved it over 2 weeks ago the boss said it was because I reserved a 15’ Truck then cancelled it then reserved a 10’ truck, please make that make sense. I cancelled the larger truck because I knew I didn’t need that much room and I wanted the smaller truck and like I said I did this 2 weeks prior to the pick up day. This place was unprofessional and very rude and once I left he started talking about me. Then I got into the truck and it only had 37 miles of gas until empty and all the uhauls I’ve rented prior always had a full tank. Never going back to this location and I would never recommend it to anyone!
Victoria HThe location is great and the guys that work there were wonderful! So helpful!!! Unfortunately the Truck AC & vent blower didn’t work at all. The truck was unbearably hot. Sacramento in the summer with no vent blower or AC becomes a medical threat very quickly. My entire trip was barely over 9 mikes round trip but if it had been longer I would have returned the truck and asked for one that worked. There was zero air flow coming out of the vents no matter how high the fan was set to. You could hear it but there had to be a hole or a hose that was disconnected because nothing came out the vent. Miserable!!!! This has nothing to do with this location but the last time I rented a truck last November 2022 the truck also had equipment problems. U-Haul needs to better check, inspect & maintain their vehicles. This particular truck I rented 2 days ago was dirty; crap all over the floor mats and this location didn’t have a Dolly though I had reserved one. Also miserable to move with no dolly. Takes longer and more physical wear & tear on body. Like I said before , the guys at this location were awesome and very customer service oriented…but the actual equipment sucked hard.

brian bThe staff there was very helpful and friendly. Although I had filled out the information online and put my driver's license info in and they will had to redo it all when I arrived. After getting the keys to the truck I head out to it and it smells strongly of cigarette smoke in the cab and there is an empty box in there and the truck was really messy. I even found some counterfeit money in the cup holder. After starting the truck I realize it only has about 1/16th of a tank of gas so I had to stop at the gas station immediately after picking it up. Then after arriving at my destination I open the back and see there is a lot of broken glass in the back and it is missing the dolly and moving pads. The only reason I do not give this place a bad rating is because the staff was friendly.
Yusef EI didn't receive a paper copy of the rental information showing starting mileage, also the amount of gas in the tank.i asedededked for a paper copy but all I got was, check your email, so I could not check the mileage or the amount of gas . Note the milage entered was 79640 starting and when I dropped off mileage was 79860. So this showed I drove 220 mileage. From citrus heights to San Jose miles is 136 miles only.tried to charge me an extra 65 miles.so what's up with that. Crooked right.
Ruben MThe back of the Uhaul wasnt clean. There was a homeless person who spent the night in the back. I had to clean it out so I could use it. I only rented the Truck for the day and was stuck with what was given to me. When we arrived there wasnt anyone in the office to help. I had to grab someone to come and help me. This location was for tire and car repair. As they should be the workers were focused on helping the people with cars and not with renting out a UHaul. To top it off my location was changed on me last minute and I was never texted the new location. I showed up to location I confirmed to only to be told in person that I had to go to a new location to get my truck. It was only relayed to me via email after I already confirmed the pick up location not prior.

Scott SHow about making sure the truck I reserve is actually able to be picked up. I had to go to 3 separate locations and over 5 miles out of my way to pick up the truck i needed. This caused me to be late and not complete what I needed to do for the day and now I am scrambling to make up the lost time.

Mark OHad issues with price of rental cost & charged for services not approved. No paper copy receipt given. After speaking to someone in management About extra charges, I was told it would be corrected. So After the 3rd charge, they still charged me for safemove which I never buy Since my insurance covers any rentals I reserve. So now I'll be going back for a 3rd time in 114 Degree heat to get the safemove refunded. Overall worst rental ever.
