Not happy with the service overall at Uhaul I booked the truck at Sanford location . Got a call that truck is not available and now you I can pickup truck somewhere else when I got there they said sorry we don't have the truck now you can pick up somewhere Wales. When I got there again same story I was told to call this supervisor and he will arrange after an 1 hour wait he arranged the truck and told me I will get $50 credit for uhaul's policy of same location guarantee but I didn't see the credit in my final bill Very disappointed in the service overall

Mistake or no mistake, the place tried charging me extra on gas when I returned the truck with 7/16 tank of gas, more than the 3/8 I picked it up with. San City Mart said it was 1/4 full. Rude, shifty, shady -- wouldn't recommend this drop off point.

The only saving Grace of this experience was David, he was a huge help. Everything else about this experience was a disaster. I reserved a pick up at the lee road location, I was called the next day and told the truck I reserved wasn't available at that location and the next closest was Apopka. Okay no problem. The representative confirmed my pickup at apopka but told me to call the morning of to see if anything was dropped off at the lee road location since it is closer for me (I am pregnant and was moving with only my mothers help) when I called as instructed the morning of my move, I was told not only was there nothing at the closer location, but there was also nothing at the apopka location since the person with my truck extended, and now I had to drive to Sanford to get a truck. No email, no phone call, no nothing about the change. I would have driven 20 minutes to Apopka to find out there was no truck for me there had I not called. Now I had to drive another 30 minutes to Sanford with my mother who had already spent $50 on a Uber to come help me move. When we got to Sanford I was then told my truck was not there either. That's where David stepped in and got me a truck. What should have been a quick 20 minute drive to get a truck I reserved and confirmed ended up being a 3 hour expensive ordeal for an elderly woman and a pregnant woman. This was by far the most unprofessional, unorganized and worst experience of my entire life. I also requested twice that a supervisor call me and I still have not received a call. I spun my wheels, wasted my gas, paid for unnecessary ubers because uhaul kept dropping the ball. And They offered me nothing in return. Worst company I have ever used and I will never use them again.

Uhaul did not contact me and let me know that my pick up location had changed. They said they tried to call but I did not have a missed call from them.

The employee had me write my name, phone number and address on a scrap piece of paper that she ripped from a note book. My son her if this was an official form? She replied with a yes. We was shocked how easy it was, no one checked my ID, didn't ask for my reservation number. She only asked if I made the appointment online. She wasn't pleasant at all. Plus, since she did not do her job correctly from the beginning, I was never dispatched a truck so it looked like I never picked it up. After a Uhaul representative called that I found out this. Then the truck on my contract was different from the one I received. When it was time to return it, I couldn't because nothing matched. I was truly inconvenience during this whole process when it should have been easy. A friend that helped me move is moving May 1st but after this situation he said he's going else where to rent a vehicle. The employee needs to be instructed on how to do her job appropriately since her actions can and will affect others.

The pick up location did not know how to retrieve the key. They seemed unfamiliar about the whole process. They did not provide any assistance. I called U-Haul and I was on hold for at least 20 mins on two occasions. I was hung up on twice. U-Haul advised that I download an app and dispatch the truck myself. That is not what I signed up for. I signed up to pick up the truck at a location that would dispatch the truck for me. Once I finally received the lock code, it didn't work. I had to jiggle the lock for over twenty minutes to finally get it open. In all, it took me about 3.5hrs to actually receive the key to the truck.
