Truck was very dirty on the floor

Cargo door would not close completely to lock without using a pry bar. Had to use a pry bar to get the ramp out of the track to hook on the deck. Then it would not push all the way in and latch. Told it would be 90 min. to get someone out to look at the truck. Dealer needs to make sure everything works and is fixed before sending it out.

Everything was great. Would suggest having a size up from 10' truck available just incase. I tried to upgrade, but they had a 10' truck or smaller available. 10' worked out fine for the move.

His assistance was very poor and he told me the wrong date by telling me that the truck was due back on Monday at 11 p.m. but yes on the paper it said Sunday at 11 p.m. but I didn't know that he just rushed me to sign the papers and sent me out the door with almost without the dolly. And he didn't even show me the truck and where the damages were I had to look myself to make sure that I wouldn't get charged for anything that I didn't do.

I feel like this was the transaction from hell. Had to pick up vehicle far from where I reserved it and then was charged for extra mileage when I dropped off. Perhaps if I didn't have to go so far to pick the truck up, the mileage would have been correct. NEVER AGAIN U-HAUL!!!!

The gal who checked us in did not properly show my son how to install the trailer on the hitch and it did not get tightened down. The trailer popped off the hitch shortly after the exited the parking lot

The owners of the uhaul overly charged me. They entered another mileage from what I had. They didn’t even attempt to double check the information.

Broken wind sheild. Bad wiper blades. Straps on car dolly we're bad and kept coming loose. Fender on car dolly broken and flapping all over place. Took over an hour and an half to get the truck paper work and truck on road. I had to pay my help to sit and wait on truck. This also threw off our arrival time off by half a day. I would say this was the worst move I have ever experienced and I have done a bit of moving. Penske may get my business from now on.

We were supposed to pick up everything we needed at that one location instead we had to go 2 towns over to pick up the car dolly when the guy had 3 of them sitting there but would not let us take any of them .....set us back like 3 hours.... And had to rush all weekend to catch up.... Very unsatisfactory.....

I did not request pickup at this location. Even though I had a guaranteed rental at my first location that I booked online, they said there was no 15" truck available (despite the fact we saw a 15" leaving and another one still in the lot).

I made a reservation to pick up my trailer in Byron (my hometown) and then received an email stating I needed to drive to Rockford (Approx 15 miles one-way) for a pick up. This required that I take additional time off of work to drive to Rockford to pick of the trailer before going to Oregon (Opposite Direction) to load it. UHaul Customer service only gave me a $7 credit for fuel and nothing for my time and the misleading reservation. I had even called the Byron location after making the reservation to confirm the trailer would be available for pick up and was told it would be. To top matters off I had also reserved 2 doz furniture pads. When I got to Rockford I was told they did not have any furniture pads! I ended up back at the Byron location having to spend more time (30 min) for a rental application to be completed for just the furniture pads. What should have been a very easy and convenient rental turned into a very bad experience.

The staff was very helpful I really appreciated and the only problem was the air conditioner was going in and out and it was a very hot ride being that those days were very hot.

The equipment (3 car haulers) at the loves park location are junk and need to be retired. The trailer at the sandy hollow location was in excellent shape

Extremely disappointed!! I reserved the truck and furniture pads over 2 months ago to pick up at my nearby uhaul corporate facility. The day before pickup, I received a notice to pick the truck up at a gas station about 20 miles away. I went there and they didn't have any furniture pads and said that uhaul knew this. I spent 32 minutes on the phone with uhaul customer support and finally had to drive to the original uhaul facility to get the pads. I will never rent from uhaul again. Why should I make a reservation 2 months ahead of time when it's just a "suggestion" on where I'll actually get the equipment. The truck was filthy and had so many previous damage dots on it that it looked like it had chicken pox.
