Very bad experience at this location. Book the pickup truck and don't have when I came even though I was promised $50 equipment guaranteed. I have to cancel the reservation myself without any support. I rebooked the difference truck I have the new bill with 40 miles difference than I recorded. I have charged extra $40. The customer service was excellent. The only thing I did not like is when the person processed our papers, he said that we can call the 1800 number of UHaul to change the drop off location of our truck. He processed our drop off on the same location but stated we can call the number to change it. When we called, the representative stated that we can not change the drop off location once it has been processed. We ended up paying more because of the mileage we used. Had we known, we could have picked a much closes Uhaul to our place to save milage. It kinda felt like we were deceived.Taugan K.

The van is clean but its performance is not good enough. Check engine light was on. Brake pedal is too high. A part of Right mirror was covered by interior dashboard. Ceiling of the bed is low, my head hit the edge of the ceiling 3 times. Not reallg happy with this van and definitely not using it againRYAN D.

The customer service was so bad that I have ever seen. At first, the lady gave me the wrong key that show bad organization Second, she checked gas tank that showed half tank only but she changed the key and it showed 3/4 gas tank is it cheating? Third, she kick me out of the office and said that I do not want you come back? For me, the U Haul take many years to build the business and hire the wrong personPhong N.

This is nothing to do with this location. When I make a reservation over the phone, customer rep booked at Santa Ana location, though it is far from my location due to truck availability. When I arrived at the location, I was told no truck was available. Then, after wasting 20 minuets here, I was told to go to Garden Grove location. Not only wasting over one hour to drive back and forth, but also wasting mileage U-Haul charged me due to way far from my location. Also, I was told by customer rep that Cargo van and 10' truck is same price, but actually 10' truck is more expensive on mileage. Very disappointing.Toru H.

I have rented from U Haul on many occasions, in the past. By far this was the worst experience I've ever had. The manager Kevin was hostile, unprofessional and discriminating! He screamed and yelled at me in the most abusive way! I will most definitely in form as many people as possible to never use u haul and inform anybody and everybody that that manger was a discriminating racist! In addition, the truck I rented was extremely dirty and had the smell of death, literally! It was a biohazard! The smell was disgusting, rancid and made me sick to my stomach! Not be rude to your customer. The person who seem to be in charge scolded me. I also was told that the tank was full and I better bring it back full. Apparently best fan only get 7.8 miles to the gallon. I have choices, I won't be back.Daniel K.

There is a THIRD thing to rate: ONE LINE: 1) given too little mileage to get the job done: had to CALL & 'fight' for more 2) was told I would be 'called' the day before... got a TEXT ONLY.. no call missed.. & told to be there @ noon... (well my 24 hour CLOCK starts on pick up time & that was NOT going to work ..4 hours TOO early).. HAD TO CALL AGAIN to FIX THAT... 3) .. then did the EXPRESS CHECK IN: which there was NOTHING EXPRESS about it.. still took my son 45 minutes to an hour to get the truck.. too little help & STILL HAD TO STAND IN LINE... 4) THEN.. when I went in to turn in the truck on the other end (open till 6 pm) got there @ 3 only to have it closed from 2:30-3:30... 'sorry for inconvenience' on a door notice... NOTHING about this experience was good ... IF you had better 'competition' I would try them next time!!JOHN L.

In the past, all of the truck that I'd rented came with either a lift or a ramp, but the 10ft truck from U-Haul did not have the ramp which makes the moving more tiresome. I guessed its a mistake to assume all the moving rental trucks are built for the same purpose, ie., moving.Duc P.

Arrived at location and office was locked. There was a sign with a phone number to call for assistance, called 7 times and got no answer. Called their emergency number and got no answer, tried the intercom 3 times before someone finally answered. Took almost 30 minutes before someone assured me with getting my vehicle. Then I get back to my house only to find that the appliance dolly I requested was not in the truck and that even though I was told the truck had a full tank of gas, it did not. Horrible experience with this location! And it wasn't the preferred location I requested, it was switched the night before as was the pick up time without anyone asking me first. Truck had no ratchet straps, no pull out ramp and no lift, made moving out of my one bedroom physically exhausting and so not worth everything I went through.Christal K.

I cut my hand up from broken glass / hard broken plastic that was already scattered threw out the storage area of the truck before I was given the truck. I notified the staff, and asked for a broom so I could clean it up. I had to clean out the truck before I could load my own items in it. I had initially thought I would rent the truck for a Saturday and Sunday night. However I returned the truck on Sunday night. I am aware of the per mile additional charge, however I thought that since I returned it early that I wouldn't be charged as much as I had been charged.Lynn L.

The odometer at the starting point was 73841.1 and when we finished it was at 73861.0, indicating a total miles of 20. I knew something was off because I knew I was not going to drive around a lot since the pick up and drop off location were not far apart. This morning I did the google maps calculations and routed exactly how I drove the uhaul. Google maps indicates a total of 12 miles. I know there isn't a lot of a difference between 12 and 20 but I feel this is something that needs to be fixed. It is not right for the odometer to be off and be charging people more then what they are paying for. Overall the service was good and the equipment was good but the odometer is off and is something that needs to be fixed.DANIEL M.
