We had reserves large trucks and there was some confusion about the availability of truck at the location where whe reserved them. We had to go to another UHaul dealer to pick up the trucks.

People who checked me out seemed to not know what they were doing. They charged me for all the items I requested and then told me they did not have the appliance nor the utility dolly that they just charged me for. So I had to drive somewhere else to get the utility dolly but I still did not receive an appliance dolly.

This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had with any company. My reservation got messed up, not once. But twice. First with my pick up date being put in wrong and it cancelling when I wasnt there to pick it up on the WRONG day, after confirming multiple times with the man I spoke to that i needed it for Saturday and sunday (not Thursday, which is what he put instead), twice when the 2nd truck I was able to find at a third party location (which was janky and had unaligned wheels, AND was $10 more a day), also for TWO DAYS, ended up being rented out only hours after I had and with me having no intention of returning it until the following day, and again. I spoke with someone else saying I needed it for SATURDAY and SUNDAY. NOT only 6 hours? ON TOP OF ALL OF THIS. My account had 2 separate holds on it for more than $100 each, for a week. And someone decided to add $56 dollars worth of insurance without my asking or consent. Never will I recommend uhaul. Next time I will take my business else where. #Penske

I was told a U-Haul representative would have called me days prior to physically picking up the equipment. That didn’t happen.

Please insure that the customer knows where to pickup the vehicle. If the preferred location isn’t available please be sure to tell the customer that the pickup location has changed

Took 2 hours to pick up our rental. They changed our pick up location just a couple days before and when they made that change that increased the price. When we told them it was not the correct quoted price we were told that we would need to call the 1-800 number for uhaul and deal with it. If they are renting out the product for uhaul then they should be able to call and handle it and not tell the customer to call themselves!!

The check engine light came on half way through the move, the rear tires needed replacing and we had to drive the vehicle with the steering wheel turned 90° in order to drive in a straight line. It was difficult to handle and I rented used many of Uhuals in the past. I was very dissatisfied.

I was not happy with this rental. I made the reservation for pick-up at one location only to receive a text the day of the rental saying pick it up in another city which was out of the way and not close to us. I called UHaul customer service and had to stay on line for at least 20 minutes only to be transferred and then disconnected. I called back again and was put on hold for another 30 minutes. Finally got the location changed. Went to pick it up and the cost was $75.00 more than if I had rented it online. When we picked it up we were told to drop off at any Uhaul location. My son drove at least 30 miles to find that we could not drop off at any location that we had to take it to the original drop off location. NEVER AGAIN WILL I RENT FROM UHAUL.

Driveway was too narrow to enter from the north bound direction. Location was closed, I had no idea that there was another location that was open and easier to access close by.

The guy said he had 3 rental appointments at the same time but it took about 36 minutes to get the truck. Unfortunately I had movers waiting to help me so the delay rippled throughout the day. He was nice but seemed stressed and like he didn’t know what he was doing in the rental process. They did not have furniture pads. He called someone to remove them but when I returned the truck, they were not removed so the return location had to reimburse me. I would not rent a truck here again.
