Communication is key when sending a customer from location to location. This location was great. However, my experience leading up to the drop off was horrendous. This is the second time uhaul has messed up and blamed the customer.

Truck was dirty. Drivers side window washer didn't work but they did fix it. The truck pulled so hard to the left that it was fatiguing to drive. After 12 hours I was exhausted.

I rented a 26' truck with a lift gate. No one was there to deal with the issue. It cost me $500 to load 6 steel benches because there was no lift. I should have been informed about this at the time of reservation and at the time of paperwork. Then I was charged $25 for cleaning, they were steel benches. Whatever was inside was there when I rented it.

I've dropped here 2x. Nobody has been at the desk available to receive my drop of your equip in either case. First time I waited for someone. Today, I left the key and presume everything went fine as I have not heard one way or the other. I guess no news is good news but honestly, it leaves me feeling less than psyched about the customer service.

After several phone calls with Uhaul, I was extended two days on my rental for free. I needed up needing one more day, which I intended to pay for. But upon return I was charged for three extra days.

I cannot not say enough, good things about Sam, the owner and the services he provided me. He went out of his way to meet me on day that they were normally closed, offered very detailed information to me about the equipment and provided excellent customer service. He continued to offer me assistance in a very timely manner, at a time when our community and world are challenging, during the Coronavirus. He is very personable and incredibly conscientious of all questions and needs I asked of him. I would highly recommend his business to anyone needing his services. Exceptional!!

I arrived to this location after hours (6:37PM), after driving 17 miles from home destination. The Uhual had appropriate gas level at this time and 34 miles less then returned. The entry gate and business was closed, so I was confused as to what to do. Uhual did not notify me of this. A physical sign read 'This after hours location is seasonally closed for winter. Any unattended equipment will not be considered returned and additional fees will be incurred.' I called Uhual and had a 38min phone call, which lead to no solution. Uhual mentioned a manager would call teh next day, but they never did. I went back to my home destination, wasting additional miles and gas (which Uhual ended up charging me for). I tried to see if any co-worker would be able to drop off the next day, because I needed to leave town. However I needed to find two individuals to juggle the process. I ended up driving back to the business, leaving the truck at the gate (8:52PM) and hiding the key under the business mat (accepting liability). I wrote an email to the business and left a voicemail, hoping they would understand. Luckily they accepting the Uhual outside the business, otherwise I'd have to drive back again.

Drop off day was Sunday. Facility was closed. It would have been helpful to be told this was the case as I would not have to make two trips for the drop off.

Extra fees were added for gas, blankets and additional mileage. Too many extra nitty fees. Would not suggest to anyone to use your service. Lady at 800 was rude Elite restoration was drop off

I called from out of state. Was helped over the phone to rent a trailer and pick up after hours on a Thursday. Told them I would decline any coverage, and would return it the following Saturday or Sunday. On Friday afternoon? they called and left a message (I was mostly out of service range and got the message after hours) saying they needed the trailer for someone else on Saturday?? I had rented it for Saturday, and they'd been told it might even be returned Sunday (and they hadn't said this didn't work). I used it Friday and Saturday and returned it Saturday afternoon, not knowing they were closed Saturday afternoon. I was charged for Friday thru Sunday, and for three days of declined coverage. They agreed to take off a day of rental, but haven't refunded the declined coverage on the other two days. They said they'd call back and haven't. My impression is they say one thing, and do things completely differently, to suit them.

Maybe consider having "no smoking" as a rule for rentals......cigarette smoke was detected in the truck i rented Another truck i considered was equally toxic from my point of view, this time with the cleaning supplies used...........Consider using more organic/natural cleaning products

Alex was awesome. I had several changes in just two days, including NOT taking my stuff to another place. He was super helpful and deserves any kudos you give him. Seriously - I have been in the service business my ENTIRE life in Aspen Colorado, where service is 5 star. He hit it!!!

I rec'd a call from this location days prior to my drop off, she stated the location is closed Sunday but I can still drop off and check in online and would not be charged for an extra day. After finding a tiny stop to drop the truck off (had I had a 20' truck I would not have been able to drop off) completed the online check in there was not a "drop box" like the app stated to leave the keys. I had to put the keys in an old cowboy hat on the porch and call the location to leave a voicemail letting them know this. The next day I get an email stating there was an add'tl $40 charge for an extra day, which is odd seeing how the location isn't even open on Sunday to rent out this truck. I spoke with the district manager, Dan about this. He stated because UHaul works on a 23h 59m clock, because I dropped off after my pick up time 4 days earlier (By 12h) I was charged. Two different people from different locations told me I would not be charged, he would not refund this fee. Moving is expensive on it's own, especially moving over 600 miles as a single person; having an extra $65 charged to me because I did exactly what your employee's told me to do in me very infuriating. Having a district manager and an employee not listen is also very frustrating. Dan told me to "look at my contact" which I am still waiting to get the email attachment to load. I have sent it to different email addresses and it has yet to load. So no Dan, I cannot read my contact. I work for a Forbes Top 40 company and speak with hundreds of people a year that are moving to the area, they often ask who I would recommend for movers, trucks, dealerships, schools etc. because of this terrible experience with UHaul you will not be a company I put my name behind. This may be small to you, but as a person your company does not respect as a customer, I will not be sending any of my customers to you, I respect people who give me their business.

The tow dolly was not at this location as requested. I had to drive an hour away and borrow a truck to go pick it up. I called and was not able to receive a discount to compensate for the drive and my time. Even had a rock hit the windshield of the truck I borrowed on the highway. I know not your issue but if it were in Bellevue as requested then I wouldn't have been driving. Very frustrating.

When I apply for a piece of equipment online, this information entered is not synced with the onsite computers where I pick up the trailer. The process takes forever, 20 minutes. The data entry info and computer syncing of the data seems to be redundant. Horrible. This has happened the last four times I have rented a trailer.

We received texts of 2 different places to drop off the trailer. We took it to 621 S. Main St. Bellevue on 7/3. The person who helped us there was great. On 7/5 we got a call from someone at 775 S. Main St. (basically across the street from the other place) who said it should have been delivered there, and if it wasn't, there would be a charge for him to cross the street and get it. We went to the place where we had dropped off the trailer initially and were told via a phone call that the manager would call U-Haul, that we could leave the trailer there and there would be no extra charge. Good ending but not a good experience.

Have regional manager follow through on issues or customer complaints. Never responded to me even though location personnel told manager about issues on two occasions. Terrible customer service on his part. (or just no customer service?)
