Sophal SRenting the cargo van from U-Haul was affordable, easy, and quick. I reserved the van online and was able to pick it up the next day with noo problem, and it served its purpose well. The U-Haul office was friendly and accommodating, and I will definitely rent from them again

Craig PThe truck was brand new had 800 miles on it when I got it. It was build in Dec 23. Only issue was windshield washer fluid froze. I topped off with -30f winter fluid before trip but must have had cheap summer stuff in lines and froze for 2/3rds of the trip. I had to pull over and pour fluid on to clean windshield. When paying 1900 to rent a truck I would hope one would pay the extra $3 to use winter washer fluid. Even if the summer stuff needs to be run dry first. That’s what I should have done but did not. Not sure if the attendant at the pickup location should be blamed for that but it would have been great if swapping out the fluid was mentioned to me. Other than the fluid the truck was in excellent condition.

Kevin AMade reservation, then it was canceled on me by UHaul. Another truck provided, so I said ok. Went to pick up my truck, and had to call only to find out that that reservation was also canceled. So I was offered another truck as I stood in the parking lot. I took it and everything worked out, but it’s just ridiculous. The reservation process is a joke, as this isn’t the first time this has happened to me. I initially reserved a 9’ van as I’d prefer to drive that over a box truck. Ended up with a 15’ box truck. Like I said, it worked out but you just can’t trust UHaul. On the 3rd reservation the lady on the phone wanted to charge me more money than what I had initially agreed to, but eventually decided to leave the rate the same. The particular place I went to I can’t rate because it was closed, but as for UHaul I will not be recommending to anyone and I won’t use it again unless absolutely necessary.

Joslyn DI was charged an extra day, even though the equipment was dropped off the same day. I called a u-haul rep the next day to let them know the exact time I dropped off the vehicle and I was told that it would be noted in my contract. I was still charged after the fact. Luckily I did not have enough funds to provide for this ridiculous charge in the bank, the charge was eventually dropped but not before having to be on the phone for another 30+ mins. Besides this glaring issue that was remedied, the place was clean and dropping off the equipment was very easy.

Jeanine OFor one more time I rented a van. Customer Service at this location is fabulous. This made my move so much easier. I would recommend this location to anyone. Make sure you make an early reservation for weekends especially this time of year.
susan tI had a very positive experience with this Scotia, NY Uhaul. The owner is wonderful. Extremely accommodating. I rented a cargo van twice from this location. The pickup was ready for me. The first time I dropped off during business hours. Everything went quickly. The second time I took the van back after hours. I was able to get into the lot with no issues. I parked and locked the van. Put the key in the night slot. First thing this morning I had my invoice in my inbox. Very efficient location. If you are renting on the weekend, reserve early.

James CPlaced a reservation for a u-haul Van about 1 1/2 months earlier. Went to pick up the van as requested on that dat and it was ready and waiting. The initial paperwork was simple and fast. Very efficient. In and out of the office in about 10 minutes. Used the van to complete my situation and brought it back earlier than expected. The manager was very friendly and commented on our early return. Will use that location again if needed.
Ron KJust a horrible all around experience my pickup location was switched without my knowledge and was further away then I get to the location to pick up my truck in the morning and there is no truck there so I had to drive 25 miles to get my truck.

Heather MI spoke with the gentleman who runs this location about the truck I used and advised that none of the Guage lights work so I couldn't see how fast I was going nor how much gas I had to put in. When the engine starts, it automatically engages the towing feature and so it ruined my gas efficiency and ended up paying a little over $.50 per mile just in the gas alone. There were a few times that I wasn't sure I'd be able to stop in time because the brakes weren't good. While driving, I have to fight the truck as it kept wanting to veer over the line, lots of play in the wheels. There was so much haze on the inside of the windshield that it acted as a light diffuser, making visibility very difficult. When the window fogged up because the ac was on, it took a long time because the ac was not effective in staving off the heat, but when it fogged up I had to pull over to the side of the road. While the customer service was good, the equipment was not. I move every couple of years, at least. I've always used uhaul, but after this experience of paying through the nose for scary equipment, I think that the next time I move, I will look into a moving company instead. Seriously, this was not a good value for the money, The amount of stress and how frightening driving this truck was unreal.

Elizabeth NThe rear "door" was in need of work but was passible. It was tough to get the latch all the way closed so that it could be locked. The inside of the container was marginally clean. I swept it our clean after use.

Richard RI am going to call when they open tomorrow but I originally got a 15 ft truck and they called an hour before to inform me that they only had 10 ft which I took because we had to move. They then said that they would pay for any extra miles we had to make because we had to make 2 trips not one. We went about 50 miles got charged for over 65 and no miles we’re payed for. I got charged over 110 dollars for nothing.
Olivia LThe guy was very short with me and the wrong fuel level was on the contract. He kept asking me the adress for where I was going and I told him I was going to drop the truck off at the other uhual location. He kept saying that I needed to change my adress and he didn’t want to change the fuel level for me I will not use this location again. He was very rude and I’m hoping I don’t get charged an extra 40$ because of it. He never sent me the text message link for me to input the before pictures and videos of the car so that I could show the fuel level either. And he rushed through everything took the money off my card and didn’t tell me how much. This is the worse experience I’ve ever had with uhual.
