It's not the location I have an issue with. It's uhaul themselves. The people at Sears are great. The Sears store itself is great. The uhaul crap and leaky truck is the problem. I reserved almost 36 hrs in advanced and still had nothing but problems. Don't use uhaul. Go with another company like Budget or Penske!

We rent often, usually a couple times a week. The Sears Hometown is so great we go out of our way to use them. I find dealing with the central dispatch often results in totally unsatisfactory results. Thank goodness for local dealers like this.

I wish I didn't have to wait in line so long, as there was only one person working for U-Haul, there. But, once I got to the head of the line in a half hour or more, it went pretty quickly.

We rent twice per month from another location. We've never been charged a night drop off fee and incurred a 3 day charge for a 2 day rental!

The lady who rented the truck to me was rude and kept putting me down. I wasn’t following what she was saying because of her voice, so she treated me like an idiot. However, she was better than the two could-be sex-offenders who rented to me 3 years ago!

Delivery was delayed by over 3.5 hours This vehicle has to be the absolutely worst truck I have ever driven. It was like the tires were out of Ballance and was unbearable to drive between 45-63. Overrun 65 it would start to smooth out but then the fuel economy dropped off significantly The engine light came in and off intermittently but all indications were good. It appeared to be fuel related as anytime the fuel economy went high the light would come on I have rented many time from UHaul but compared to the Penske truck for my previous trip there is no comparison. In my mind the lower rate for the truck was definitely not worth it.

Your list of fees and expenses. Doubling up on fees is wrong for a customer. Not happy about the fuel charge at all. Especially when you’re being charged per mile anyway.

We were never told we had to take a picture of the fuel or mileage before turning the keys in. I didn’t get detailed instructions on the process.

Truck was dirty. Truck did not have a 1/4 tank of gas yet we had to return with a 1/4 tank. 24/7 check in, is difficult. Will NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN!

Computerized check in is confusing for us old farts to use - need better explanation of procedure, and costs. Also, it seems logical to remain open until at least 5:30 or 6 pm on Fridays - since most of your customers work for a living and may not get off work until 4:30 to 5:00 pm.
