This is one of the very few U-Haul locations were I'm greeted with a smile and welcome greeting. The other location I was at the same day was a completely different experience. The staff at this location was super nice, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and welcoming. Whenever I move again, I will rent from this location because of the staff. The only room for improvement is the check out process. It was easy to return the van and drop off the keys, but I was unable to check out online. The process is not clearly spelled out... The manager here (Bob) is completely unhinged and not suited to be doing this job. He doesn't follow mask guidelines having his nose exposed and when my FiancÃ© told him to pull it up a 2nd time he had a total meltdown and yelled at us to get out of his store. If this location is gonna remain operable he needs to be either radically retrained or removed.Tyler S.

The hand truck and dolly were not in the van, and the person at the rental place was not wearing a mask and would not come outside, so I could not safely go inside to request them. I was disappointed i originally booked in advance for Saturday for 24 hrs and i got a email Thursday afternoon. My reservation was moved to another location which was off my way and i have to change everything. It was very inconvenient considering i already plan my whole weekend for moving. Do not increase the rate after we make a reservation. This is called bait-and-switch, which is illegal. We reserved this truck at $0.99/mi, but UHaul charged us 20% more at $1.19/mi. Uhaul did not respond to our email or correct the charge, and we had no choice but to dispute it at our bank, who probably swallowed it. This is a very dishonest business practice. Even though the dollar amount is not large, if UHaul fleeces enough customers, they could make billions through this type of cheating. This location did not initiate the 24/7 pickup option, so we had to call UHaul corporate and wait outside in the cold for an hour. Last but not least, UHaul virtual pickup should do the customer pickup verification beforehand. We checked in the night before, but the day of, when we were already at the UHaul site, UHaul said they could not verify our identity and needed a lease or passport, which are not documents people usually carry around on their person. This resulted in unnecessary delay and a lot of anxiety.Giselle H.

You all did not have the truck that I reserved at the location. I was not contacted that the reservation and moved to an entirely different City. an hour after my reservation was supposed to start I got a text message saying that there was now a new location. The pickup location staff we're extremely overworked and irritable because you have failed your customer and not provided rentals that you committed to. Thought it was strange to provide the vehicle with 3/8 tank of gas ( would be easier to just provide a full tank), but there were good instructions on how many gallons needed to fill it back to that level based on the fuel gauge.William B.

I've never had such a struggle getting my uhaul. I went through uploading my ID more than 5 times. Did it never save? I had everything submitted and ready for pickup. Then come pickup I'm waiting in the cold from a response from my representative to get ahold of someone else to verify me? I've rented uhauls plenty of times and that's never happened to me. I wasn't aware that was a thing. The process was extremely slow and frustrating and not only that I had several problems with the app not saving my information or randomly closing me out. So my expierence wasn't bad because of the location but because of the overall process. Definitly needs some work. Also I don't understand the break up of my bill whatsoever. Why are there 2 charges? Instead his vague directions left me looking around the building for it and playing guess the clue from your equally vague online directions. Also, I had to stop for fuel within 10 miles of driving the van. It would be nice if there was a minimum. Then I returned it with more than I received out of consideration for the next customer. This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had as a consumer of anything. The instructions ahead of time were extremely poor leading to lots of confusion. The description of the location was useless and had me wandering around for 15 minutes trying to find the lock box. The Uhaul rep was unhelpful and told me I couldn't get the truck because I had an interlock designation on my license (it was a motorcycle endorsement) and I had to wait around for a manager to call me to clear things up. The truck was almost on empty for fuel, yet the contract instructions threatened to charge me a $30 fee if I returned it with less than a quarter tank. I paid for the estimate before taking the truck and had a charge notice on my credit card, but when I returned the truck the checkout process wanted to charge me the full amount again, so I clicked the box that said I didn't not agree with the charges and wrote a comment stating I had already prepaid for most of it. I was told that a customer service rep would contact me about the issue, but instead someone just manually entered my credit card info and charged my card without my authorization. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in the customer support and overall experience of renting a Uhaul vehicle. It felt like I was dealing with some shady, scammy organization. I will not be using Uhaul again and I will be telling this story and warning others against it as well.Robert W.

I drove this van 3 miles and the fuel gauge did not change at all. The gentleman receiving the van lied about the placement of the fuel gauge and charged me for 1.5 gallons of fuel for driving 3 miles. This was the single worst experience I have had moving, all due to the decision to rent a uhaul from this facility. Check out was a nightmare to begin with due to the employee at the front desk forcing me into doing online check in on my own so that he could help other customers. I did this in the app and returned to get the keys- he had forgotten already who I was and asked if I needed to rent a uhaul. I explained and was on my way. When I returned the uhaul, I was accosted by the same man asking â€œdid you damage this truck???!?!â€ before I could even check it in via the app (I figured I'd be directed to do it there anyway). I did not damage the truck, and the dent he pointed to had been in the existing photos in the app during check in. The man took the keys so that I could not finish the process and then proceeded to argue with my partner and I for over 10 minutes. Why? We were polite and attempting to explain, but he kept demanding to see photos which we could not get on the app on our end SINCE THEY WERE EXISTING UPON CHECK IN. The man did not understand this and my partner had to demand that he return the keys so that we could do check in ourselves in the app because we felt unsafe with the employee doing it after demonstrating such rudeness and incompetence. Either someone from uhaul or the employee ended up charging me $165 dollars less than an hour after we left without any contact about the incident prior. This is over $100 more than my quote. I am waiting for uhaul to refund me now after finally having contacted corporate, but still haven't heard back.Eddy A.
