Vacuum the seats . They were covered with dog hair and truck was not clean in front , Cargo bay was ok I also paid $212 for a 2 day rental @ 19.95 day and 1.19 per mile , plus gas of $41 that was a little high when I only used the truck for about 2 hours and had to keep it for two days because Seattle Vault would not rent a storage to me when they said they would and had availability because I had on my license a mailing address that is an address that homeless people use. When I tried to give them where I lived they would not even accept the address because they said it was a shelter. DiscriminationDANA M.

When I went to return the rental, I was unable to â€œcheck inâ€ through the app or the website. Tried two different devices and the process errored at the end each time. Spent a half hour trying to do so in the cold taking sets of pictures each time. Tried to call customer service but the expected wait was 50 minutes. Horrible experience.Patrick P.

The agent who rented me the truck - Kandice I believe was her name - was so fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. I continue to come to this location year after year because she is so helpful. I consistently refer anyone in the Seattle area to go see her for any of their moving needs. Because people tend to be under quite a lot of stress when moving, I'd guess that Kandice deals with some folks who are rude, impatient, and probably demanding to her. Her pleasant, laidback attitude made me feel pleasant and laidback about my move. Even when there was a computer glitch and she needed to call for support about the truck I was supposed to be renting, she was certain they would get me taken care of, and of course they did! I'll be a customer here as long as she's around. :)Quincy K.

The attitude of the individual behind the desk was appalling. There was a misunderstanding re: the use of the new Uhaul 24/7 program & its terms, which resulted in a late vehicle pickup. After apologizing for the late arrival and attempting to explain the circumstances were due to a misinterpretation of the policy, the "agent" proceeded to chastise me, as if I were a child, and berate me .. then, accused me of having an "attitude" Not only was this unprofessional and offensive, but it was uncalled for. Had this individual taken 30 seconds to understand why there was a misunderstanding, he may have been more patient. But he didn't and instead he was rude and disrespectful. Having set up a business account with UHaul, with the intention of using this location as my primary source for renting vehicles needed for conducting business, I was left angry, insulted, and determined to NEVER use this location again. It was a terrible experience, which culminated in this individual telling me "never use the UHaul online system to rent a vehicle .. it will always be screwed up" and to just "call this location directly to rent a truck" Again, VERY unprofessional and not a good look for UHaul. If it hadn't been 5:00pm and I didn't need the truck for a very important presentation at 9:00 the next morning, I would've walked out. Lesson learned. I would never recommend this location. The guy working the counter was friendly, but this location was difficult location to access/find (one way streets, entry was through a locked gate, had to call front counter to gain access while waiting in the street); cigarette ashes in the cupholder made the cab smell terrible. Had to get cleaner, rags, and air freshener to make it bearable for a 1,400-mile trip.MICHAEL V.

The sales person was very helpful. I had originally called a different location and was unknowingly patched over to the Terry St location. When I went to pick up my rental at the location i thought i was talking to - they were not helpful and told me that it was common for customers to reserve at a different location and not know. I left that location frustrated and with little time before the Terry St location closed to get there and pickup my rental. I called the Terry St location and the man on the phone gave amazing customer service and stayed open so i could pick up my rental.LEANN H.

To make sure that the information about the customer is entered correctly into the system. Send the email about the rental with the reservation number in a timely manner. Otherwise it serves no purpose to the customer. It was very time consuming to correct the problem and I lost 3 hours of my rental time on my first rental September 11th 2021. Don't give them a hand dolly unless there's a way to lock it in, I had booked a cart with the lift, but were out when I arrived. That's a bit of a game changer. Really appreciated flexibility with extended time.Ericka F.

The staff at this location were very friendly and initially helpful. The van was very dirty upon pick-up. Upon completion of my rental, my van was not checked-in until over an hour after I had returned it and I was charged for damage that apparently occurred after I dropped off the van (I was charged for a crack in the windshield that did not exist when I returned the van). I will not use this location again and am hesitant to use Uhaul again based off this very poor experience.Olin B.

The location had only 4 parking spots and when I came to return the vehicle at night, all 4 spots were already occupied by other U-Haul's. I called the U-Haul's customer service and the lady over the call was unprofessional and rather than solving my issue, she was giving me advice on professionalism even when I maintained completely decency over the call. She was so disrespectful that when I completed a sentence she was giving me her closing statement. Such a lady should not be a part of your customer care team. She should be transferred to another team where she can show her aggressive skills. I respect U-Haul as a brand but this experience with drop off inconvenience due to parking spot issues and a pathetic experience from your customer care lady made my overall experience, a Horrendous experience!Sujay Shrinivas P.

The van's exterior was dirty and scratched. It wouldn't hurt to wash the vans once a week. The rubber seal at the back door of the van was coming off. It could easily be repaired. On the other hand the woman working that days shift was friendly, professional, and helpful.Craig S.

The location is great although needs to plan ahead on which route to take to return. There are lots of one way street and constructions. Please plan at least 20 minutes to drive around in order to access the back alley for returning the vehicle. That is pretty much what takes me go up to pike st and then come back at 8th, left on Stewart on the right direction, watch for the back alley, then turn left in.YONGWEI Y.

Don't allow somebody to rent back to back, so I'm literally waiting on them to drop off the truck before I can use it. If I have rented equipment, NOBODY ELSE SHOULD BE USING IT. That's how a reservation works, watch Seinfeld you numb nuts. Thankfully the individual working the desk at my pickup location was a huge help, but seriously your business practices are terrible and I will never use uhaul again.Shareef N.
Representative was quite helpful for check in. Truck was very dirty on the outside. All parking was occupied at check in (it was late in the evening, however I was warned that a towing fee could apply if I did not park in a designated spot, busy alley with lots of construction nearby).
