Upon returning Uhaul the woman at the counter said she was too busy with an order to take the truck and asked me to return in an hour. Very inconvenient! I returned and the woman was still cold in manner. I complained about the service and they didn't care.

No one available at our pick up time, said they would be there in 5 mins but didn’t get there until 45 mins. At pick up the tank was at 3/4. We replaced all that we used and verified with store manager upon return that we were all good. Then got charged for the remainder of the tank. Tried to talk to store manager who was belligerent and argumentative. Kept saying she didn’t tell us things that she did tell us at checkout. She finally became so undone she told me to leave the store. I decided to video her because it was unbelievable, at which time she came at me and grabbed at my phone throwing it to the ground and telling me she was calling the police. I literally only wanted to know how it came to be that we got charged for fuel when we had cleared everything with her the previous day. All she needed to say was it looked like a mistake, unfortunately they couldn’t make the correction and I would need to contact Uhaul. Instead she chased me out of the store with threats of police, when she had just assaulted me. I had a legitimate request and it was never addressed. Very poor customer service.

You put my husband’s life in jeopardy by renting a truck whose tire was ready to blow. You owe us 200 dollars that he used to purchase a new tire before his trip. Inexcusable!

I paid over $4k+ for a recalled truck with no A/C. The truck was dispatched without having gone through the recall maintenance.

I was told I could use it from from Friday night and return it early Sunday morning. Had the discussion over the phone and in person. They said they would only charge me for 1 day. It was supposed to be around $170 for a 60 mile trip trip. I got called Saturday night asking why I haven't returned the truck in and explained again. I got charged around $220 for a 60 mile trip. I did turn the truck in a little after midnight (Sunday morning). Very unprofessional overall as I also received the phone call during my wedding reception and had to argue over the phone during that time.

The entire experience for this rental was a nightmare. Not just at this location. My reservation was supposedly canceled (not at this location), but no email or phone call was received. Then I had to relocate my rental to MT Vernon, over 25 miles away from my original rental location. Once I arrived, I was told my rental was once again deleted, so my wife had to rent AGAIN from her phone before we could take the truck. Then on the way back to Mt Vernon, bc we had to return the truck to the same location, the service engine soon light came on. Overall, unfortunately this entire rental experience was horrendous.

When I picked up the truck it was at a gas station/store. I waited in line for my turn and the gal was the only employee there. She got upset when I asked her to stop leaving me to help EVERY person who came through the front door. It was a lot of people! They were busy. The truck was dirty inside and out. Trash in the cab, missy floor, sprayed soda on the interior windshield. I expected a full tank of gas as I was traveling 100+miles. Only had just over 3/8 a tank not 1/2 tank like it said. Safe move was not discussed, nor mileage, when I reserved the truck. I have my own auto insurance that covers anything I drive. It was not needed and now I have to dispute the charge! In addition, when I went to return the truck at destination after hours the app they tell you to use didn’t work. I ‘chatted’ with someone who told me they couldn’t help me and to call another number. The record oasis it was almost an hour wait on hold. I locked the truck and left.

I did not choose this location. I made a reservation at the Uhaul in Lynnwood on Aurora a week earlier, but I got a call THE DAY BEFORE that they had no one way trucks, so I had to instead pick up a truck from a Uhaul in Mount Vernon, 45 miles north. This screwed up my plans royally since I was flying to Everett and then getting a Lyft to pick up my truck. This added $60 to my Lyft bill. And when I got the Mount Vernon, it was a freaking gas station and convenience store. It took along time to get my truck because there was only one lady working the cash register and she kept leaving to cash in customers from the convenience store. She also had no dollies available. She did refund the fee for that, though. I guess the nice, but she didn't offer an explanation of how to move my freaking furniture without a dolly. I finally got my truck an hour late and then had to drive the extra 45 miles back to where I was. I really would like Uhaul to reimburse me for my extra long Lyft ride, the extra 45 miles in gas I had to pay for, and to reimburse me for the time I wasted driving all the way to Mount Vernon.

having to drop off on a Sunday is a real pain..all of the local places are closed and trying to do it on line was horrible so had to drive for miles and use MORE gas to find a drop off that was open

When I arrived, their screen for uhaul had been down and wasn’t working. I had to personally call uhaul and get everything set up so they could hand me the keys. They should have reached out to uhaul prior to get the issue sorted out and/or advise uhaul of the issue so that they can be better prepared.

Poor customer service the worker did not know how to do the checkout had to wait 30 minutes for a manager to come in and then she did not do the check out properly. When I asked for a final receipt at the store their answer was oh you’ll get one when we get to checking the truck in. When they finally agreed to check the truck in while I was there they tried saying the mileage difference was nearly 20,000 miles when I only had the truck for 2 hours. I still have not received a follow up call or final receipt.

My pickup reservation was for 10am, I arrived a few minutes after 10am, expecting to receive timely service as I have in all of my previous U-haul experiences. Instead, the only employee at the Section Street Market Gas station told me he was not trained in U-haul yet. So he called his manager to come in and help me. I waited at the gas station for OVER AN HOUR, until the manager arrived. It seemed like she was not well-trained in this process either, and had not yet inspected the truck to see if it was ready. I was already late now to meet my associate for moving at the storage facility, and I didn't have time to do anything more than accept the un-inspected truck and go, despite not knowing whether or not the truck was safe. I feel like the combination of having to wait over an hour at the gas station despite having an appointment made online, and not having the truck inspected prior to me arriving, is unacceptable. I don't feel like I got the service that I paid for, and it is fair that I have this cost refunded. I have been a continuous loyal U-haul customer for many years, and this has been a stand-out poor transaction in comparison to my previous experiences.

The actual uhaul number that I had to call multiple times for customer service was horrible worst customer service I have ever had.. no help with reservations or questions or explaining anything ( except one nice lady that I was transferred to after asking over 20 times to be transferred )

The app was not easy to use and when I called to get assistance I was told by the local site provider that she didn't know anything about the app or how to help. When the app finally updated and allowed me to choose the correct drop off site, I went in to get the key. Then the same employee did not know how to process me in her computer system and had to call for help before she could hand me the key. She finally explained at the end that she had never used the 24/7 part of the program and didn't know how to manage it. Training her would have been helpful.

The drop off location was very unorganized the person at the front didn’t seem to know anything about u haul. When I called to verify that the truck was returned she said it wasn’t checked in. I kinda panicked and asked her if it was in her parking lot. She put me on hold for almost 10 minutes then when she got back on the phone she pulled up my account and told me it wasn’t checked in again. Then she wanted to put me on hold again, I asked her please don’t put me on hold again I just want to know what’s goin on. She then talked in Spanish to someone next to her and told me the truck was late and the keys were there. I explained my sons friend had to return the u haul and he called me from the parking lot at 945 am and the truck wasn’t late she said the truck was due at 10:00 she had to check the cameras and she said I was changing my story. The truck wasn’t due back until 10:41 and it was barely 10:30 when we were talking on the phone. I was pretty upset. She said she would call me back. I then called the U haul in Mt Vernon and they forwarded my call to Seattle. I spoke with Leanne agreed to call the drop off and find out what was going on and call me back. She did call me right back and said that it was handled and there would be no late fees. I think this could have been avoided if the 3rd party drop off sight trained there employees on u haul standards. It made me feel like they wanted to cheat me and like they were accusing me of lying, when we did everything right.

The only complaint I have from the rental experience is the distance I had to drive to pick up the truck. It was a long ways from my location. Don’t you have uhaul employees who can shuttle trucks to closer locations based on reservations? If that was the case it would have been a very seemless experience.

I was told by the telephone uhaul rep that this was a storefront and as long as I returned the vehicle by 8pm someone would be there to finalize the return. It was a gas station and the attendant just pointed me to a drop box and therefore I ended up paying a $20 connivence fee. Additionally I spent no less than 30 minutes each time I called uhaul and sometimes got transferred multiple times, just to be given incorrect information. Disappointed.
