Called and left me a message to tell me that I dropped the Uhaul off at the wrong location and to pick up the truck (which was incorrect). I tried calling back at least 6 times and also left a message with no answer or call back. I dropped the truck off a day prior to the end of my Uhaul reservation and SecureCare Self Storage processed the truck several hours after my reservation had ended and I got charged with an additional $75 for an "extra day" that I had to call the main Uhaul hotline to dispute. Absolutely horrible customer service and will be using a different location the next time I need to rent a uhaul.Leigh G.

For a person who works in customer service I have never been more upset with how I was managed and treated by the two female employees at this location. Both very rude and disrespectful threatening to just throw me to collections all because I was asking logical questions that she was too lazy to answer. Very incompetent and liars above all. Lied about the mileage and still charged my card for gas which I brought back at the same mark. This service left a horrific taste in my mouth and I will never EVER come back to this location again.THOMASINA B.

Website needs to have opening time updated. Building was not open at 10. Lights were on but door was locked. Left to try another location. Alternative location called building. Staff in building just hanging out. Staff stuggled to help with rental. 9:30 pick-up but left @ 10:45. No appliance trolley available. Truck droke bad.Wesley D.

The pickup went fast and easy compared to my last experience at another uhaul facility. I was to only keep the van for a few hours due to only needing it to move my college son I to his new apartment. Upon return (24/7share) I continued to repeatedly enter my information but it kept stalling at step 3of4. That took me another 25 minutes trying to complete the return process. I was in a rush to return back to Virginia to the protesting. Overall a 7 out of 10.Tasha G.

I needed a U-Haul last minute on a Saturday. Since SecurCare was near my new apartment I decided to give them a try & am glad I did. Hailey was professional & super helpful in getting me a truck. Trash was found by the drivers side after pick up - ensure trucks are clean before next person picks up truck so I wouldn't get charged for leaving trash since I only noticed the trash when we were on the way to drop off the truck.Sarah M.

your website has this site as an option to open a key box with cell phone and that is NOT available so you need to fix this. We had to wait for an hour until the location openedPaul M.
I was charged $30 extra dollars than what I was supposed to be charged. When getting to the locating we lady at the front desk did not know what she was doing, holding me up 45 minutes after my scheduled time to get the UHUAL. The UHAUL did not have much gas in it. There was scratches and dents all over the front part of the UHAUL. The lady at the front desk did not come and check and make sure the UHAUL was up to par to drive away with it. She did not come outside at all. She did not check the mileage or the gas or anything else that had to be checked. I have yet to get my refund back for being over charged. The supervisor over the place has not given me a call back and he said he would.Zareia T.
Was charged for gas even though I filled up truck before returning, and I took pictures of the gas meter. Truck had low tire that attendants waved off as not a problem during pick up. Release for parking brake fell when I got into truck. Nothing was given to me to sign during pick up, just given keys and told to return by 5pm (turned by 2:40pm).DAVID S.

The truck needed to be serviced (warning message on dash) and had a stale odor. I was charged a different per mile amount than what was quoted and was also charged for gas when the truck was returned with the same amount of gas it contained when it was signed out. The 10' truck needs maintenance service. It took a few minutes/tries to crank truck up after initial rental on rental property and the same thing happened after some of my other stops. The truck did not crank each time, the ride was not smooth, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System service light is/was on at pickup and stayed on once cranked. I called before returning the truck and asked the customer service representative (who was very courteous) about getting a price reduction for the truck rental and was told that I needed to speak to management and was given a phone number to call but l did not get the chance to call Mr. James Crews ( I think that was the name given to me.Gladys R.
Facility did not open until 10:00. Earlier availability such as 7:00 would be a huge benefit to the customer Location was 30 miles away from where the truck was needed, and requested. Having trucks available at other closer facilities would be a big help to the customer Truck was dirty and had a strong cigarette smell A no smoking policy inside trucks would be helpful. 1. do not be closed for lunch at the prearranged pickup time (resevered for 1... store was on lunch break) 2. do not close early so i can report issues im having with the truck. (went back at 4 to figure out dolly situation and report ttuck warning lights. store had closed early) 3. allow me to review info and walk the truck. (i never received or signed a contract or instructions) 4. do not make me repeat all information i provided in the online reservation. 5. have the equipment available that i reserved (no dolly provided) 6. ensure warning lights are addressed (tire light was on. determined to be a sensor issue) 7. most important: please do not continue using secure storage for uhaul rentals. theres an actual uhaul location less than 1 mile down the road. they are much better and helped resolve the issues.Gregory I.

While the gentleman working at this location also works to maintain a Storage facility he was very helpful. I found that my wife thought I should get the larger truck and he made the changes quickly and efficiently. Really felt he wanted me to have a wonderful experience. Truck was relatively new, well maintained and clean. Ran great and I was able to get my project done quickly and turn in was quick and easy.Scott C.

Great experience and simple pickup/dropoff. Truck was in great shape, and previous damage to the truck had already been diligently marked (and most were minor scratches I may not have noticed). However, it seemed to me that instructions given in the app did not make it super clear that the lock at pickup and key at dropoff were to be placed in the drop box.Dale H.

The truck bed was fairly dirty. I'm assuming the last user didn't sweep up after using it. I had to clean it up before I could use it. It also had a slight smell to it. It wasn't that big of a deal, but I feel the business should know about the inconvenience so that other users in the future won't have to deal with this. Over all, I'm satisfied. The gentleman at the facility (Jamez?) was very friendly and professional. He explained things very clearly. The facility looked very clean and well attended. Will all the cameras and security features I felt at easy leaving my car there while I moved.Joshua R.

When they pulled up our reservation and began the payment process, what we had been quoted during our online reservation, and what the bill came up to were different. They were not sure why, but after looking over everything, and seeing my copy of my online reservation with the rate, they adjusted the bill, and we paid what we had been quoted online. I think it was an error in the Uhaul system.Wayne B.

We were told to drop it off at the most convenient location for us, which we did. I called the 800 # on the door to inform them we dropped it off and placed the keys in the night deposit box. The following morning I called again to insure it was taken career of. I was told the field manager would take it to the appropriate u-haul that day. I received 3 calls bet. Sat & Sun wanting to know where the truck was! The whole experience was frustrating and will do my best to rent from another company in the future.BECKY P.
This place was a bundle of incompetence. Not there when I arrived 10 to 10, someone upstairs I talked with and said I was here to pick up a trailor just said, OK, disappeared and did nothing. The guy came 10 minutes or so late and then people were not able to figure out the software, not able to find my reservation, etc. I had stopped by two days earlier as suggested by the email and didn't even look at my truck, refused to help me change the ball out and put the hitch on the truck. They had no advice or interest in giving advice on where I could get that help. I am a 64 year old woman and had no one to help me. They said it was a liability issue. I said that's what insurance is for. On the day of, when they finally got my reservation, paperwork, etc. They refused to even turn the trailer around for me!!! I have never had such an experience with U Haul before and I would NEVER recommend this site. I did manage to move the trailer myself while three grown men stood by and watched. The trailer was still in their possession and I do not understand why they could not position it so I could hook it up. That would have made things SO MUCH easier. I managed to turn it around. It was in a position where I would have had to spend an hour backing up and forward in order to turn it around after hooking up. I had to turn the trailer around and move the truck into position, lift it and hook it up without a trace of help. The young man, I believe his name was Nathan, was entirely polite and just kept quoting policy stopping him from helping me. I was not polite. He apologized and kept his cool, though he was very uncomfortable. I told him this was bull shit an if they could not help someone they had no business having the franchise. If this is your policy I tell you the same thing. Even if they needed to have me sign a waiver, they should be able to help their customers.Lyneah M.
