Karl HanoverU-Haul experience was excellent. I ran into unexpected issues with needing a truck last minute and U-Haul was able to set me up with a truck that was close and fast. Truck ran great! The only thing I suggested was new wipers for it.
Brooke AllenProcess was not as easy as normal location I use. I had to do part of the pick up process instead of them doing it. Normally do not have to do that. Gentleman complained about my setup he said never had to do that way. Almost felt like I was bothering him.

Richard BlinkElectronic check in and pick up was not easy. The key box was too high for me at 5’4” - I couldn’t even see the code wheel without standing on my tiptoes and barely then. And the box was hard to open and then the key chain was stuck inside the box. I went inside to get help but they said since I chose online checkin they couldn’t help me.

Dustin DamanJohn Stine owes me a couple hundred dollars for a 4x8 trailer to go to Naples , Florida and I paid 561.00 and then had a medical emergency and stayed in Michigan. I turned it into self serve lumber in Saint Johns , Michigan and John Stine tried to charge me another 400 and change. Then told me he would call me the next day and never did. The moron at Self serve lumber accused me of driving to Florida and back in the time I had the trailer saying that trusting the customer is BAD business. Of course that could have straight from John Stines mouth since the manager at Self serve lumber isn’t that smart !!

Michael SabinI was scheduled for an after hours pick up. I arrived early and was unable to get the pick up using my phone to work. I went inside and Charlie was very rude and condescending. After making me wait 30 minutes he finally got me the key.

Dean ButlerReturned my rental early. (The same day that I rented it) Checked it back in using the after hours app and was still charged the $20 after hours fee. Not very customer friendly. Next time I’ll just keep it the entire rental period, preventing you from leasing it out until it’s returned. 😡
TIM KARASEKI was told 150 miles was included in the price and .79 per mile over that. I was charged for 40 miles over 133 miles. Not happy about that AT ALL

David StantonThe cab had coffee splatters all around the cup holders, the last customer's water bottle was still inside, there was a plastic lid in the back of the truck, the windshield was filthy, the wiper fluid was empty, and the damages to the box skirting was excessive. I'm sincerely surprised I wasn't pulled over.

Russell WhiteUpon returning the truck, they tried to charge me for extra gas. It had just over half a tank when i picked it up and they tried saying it had 3/4 of a tank. The guy was rude about it as well.
Brad Thelenthe truck was cleaned off and warmed up when we arrived. the inside of the truck was clean as was the back of the truck. the roll up part of the back was very hard to pull up and down while moving . of course moving in the winter has its challenges, but the ramp and bed of the tuck has no traction pads so there was some problem solving to make sure no one slipped. i don’t think the “slipperyness” could have been prevented by the site, but just as a word of caution to anyone renting a uhaul in the winter in michigan, the ramp and the box will be slick. when trying to check in in the store i believe the man helping us was new or just had difficulty with the process. it took us a 1/2 hour to check out (without waiting in line). we were directed where to pick up the dolly and moving blankets in the store. the blankets were thrown in a heep (most without a good way to carry them out (later we would find out they keep some on the truck you can break the green tab and use and they will charge you the same as if rented at pick up. they also had a regular dolly available that we were not aware of until we opened the back, which we did use and were only charged the fee that would have been charged had it been reserved. we had an excellent experience with the moving helpers u hauls website had available and were able to bring the truck back 2 hours before it was due. The business was still open but it was suggested that we do online checkout because it would be easier. The online checkout was i dead not bad, just involved taking a lot of pictures. we did however question the amount of gas needed to fill it back up as we put 3 gallons of gas in it and only traveled 6 miles in total. If these things only get 2 miles to the gallon I would be concerned if your going any distance. We were assured it was full when we picked it up. In all we got a clean, functional truck very close to the move sites. The rented equipment functioned properly and next time I would self check in and check out as i feel like it would have been much quicker and about the same amount of support.

Jerri S WilsonI was over charged and the man who rented the stuff told me, well that is the way it is. I was charged for a dolly that I didn’t use and I was charged insurance that I clearly declined. Also he never had checked the truck prior to me renting it. Just told me to do it. At this point I would never rent from uhaul again.
David PoffBetter training and knowledge of U haul return procedures! They did not know what to do and he kept pushing us off to the side as he waited on other customers! We waited 40 minutes and still had to call the u haul help number and they finally took care of us! This is the second very poor experience we have had with returning to this location! Won't use it again!!!

John JohnsonDon’t tell customers you will not charge them for mileage to go pick up a truck because you won’t bring it to their uhaul location, then charge them anyway. Poor business practices!!!

Christina EnnessI was startled to discover the gas tank was filled to just over a half tank. I expected it to be fully fueled. I refilled it to the level of gas that I received it. I took photos of the gas gauge at the beginning and end that I cn share, but I haven't found a place to do so - either here or on my phone check in.
