Steering wheel auto locks every single time no matter what ! And super difficult you unlock it! Very very very frustrating not sure if the last user messed something up and the vehicle was not properly inspected before loaning out but that was very annoying. Turn truck off for any reason. It’ll lock the steering wheel. Back of the truck was not clean, didn’t care to much but I thought the trucks are checked and clean before next pick up not a big issues but just wondering. Location was great. Pick up via app was pretty easy and cool. Just the truck was giving issues is the only thing I didn’t like. 3 stars.
Corey SimmonsThere were a couple of problems with my U-Haul experience the first problem when we got in the U-Haul it was a very strong sent if cigarettes that caused my husbands health problems to flare up, the second was that we made an order for the moving blankets and everything was fine but when we got the truck they were missing and when we called customer service they argued with us saying that they gave us an update, but there was not any communication about not having moving blankets so that was another inconvenience for us. The truck when we went to start it the first time it didn’t start for 20 minutes and we were doing the same repeated actions for us to start the machine. And even after we got it started the truck took a while to turn on.Lastly when it came to asking a question at the office the hours were in inaccurate and even when we came back to drop off the truck to the office was still closed with no one in
Matthew La RoseWhen I got to the location the windows were down on the uhaul, my pickup was scheduled for 6am but I was never sent a code to pick up three keys on my contactless pickup, I had to wait until am employee living on the premises was out walking her dogs at 8am walked over and told me the code. I'm dealing with a house fire and struggled packing and salvaging what I could for myself, 4 children and husband out of an entire duplex and because I ran a little longer on time then what I anticipated, and was completely worn out and exhausted from moving an entire house the day prior and didn't heat the call when they called, I got sent a message telling me they were going to put out an alert on the truck as though I was trying to steal it. It was only at a half of a task of gas when I picked it up, however I was charged for a full tank refill at drop off. I just feel this place is very unorganized, not only was i 2 hours behind due to employee error, I was treated like a car thief instead of a person going through a very tough time.
Heather GallierCandice is an excellent representation of the U-haul Team. She is smart and gives out all the important information you will need to move with U-haul. I called her office to inquire/gather information; but she was so personable and made me feel ease..I decided to buy with her. Excellent customer service is a must and she has it.!

Anthony LingermanMy only recommendation is directed towards uhaul general reservations, this comment is not directed towards the service rep at middle river uhaul location. Calling to schedule a reservation, reservation I discovered are not guaranteed, as I found out when I went to pick up the 15’ truck I had reserved! My reserved truck was NOT there and ready, HUGE inconvenience. My reservation apparently was scheduled behind a drop off return...hence the no guarantee...which my phone scheduler failed to mention. Put me in quite a bind as I had very small window of time to work with. It would be better customer service to only reserve vehicle that are physically there and ready to go!!!!

anthony harrisI did not receive the dolly I requested. I wrote a comment about it and was still charged. I would like a refund please. The truck it self was sub par, old and outdated, although clean. The mirrors had to be adjusted manually and did not properly adjust to my liking. I had a blind spit on my right side that could have been prevented if the mirrors worked right.

TRACI MCMAHANThe on-line pick-up was very challenging. We had to get help from the corporate office. The representative was very competent, and walked us through the process on a step-by-step basis. I wonder if you can create a “test” pick-up the first time renters could review in advance so they know what to expect when they do the actual pick-up. When we returned the rental, the clerk was very pleasant, competent, and helpful.
Thomas HallI am very sorry to have to say this I have reserved a U-Haul from this location a few times and never had any issues always go of the gas tank but this one particular time I return the U-Haul on a full take as well and they charged me $7 and some change for gas when I asked the lady that logged the U-Haul began to take a picture and let me see what the gas tank was on because she notified me the U-Haul was still there that I returned she told me she couldn't do so and when I wanted to come back up to see it she told me by the time I get there she will be off and she would not be there on the weekend as well. I was very dissatisfied because you had to eat that bill because it's your word against theirs and when it's me and possible for you to come and verify it's nothing you can do.
