It was an awesome experience, Friendly, helpful customer service by the guy who helped us at the U-haul on Hwy 70 in Mebane. With more customer service people like him, this world would be a better place. We will definitely use this location again if we need a U-haul again.

Finding drop off location was difficult and time consuming. I had to go to 2 locations in middle of nowhere. It was dark and no street lights to see much. I had to go to two businesses to ask locals if they knew where people dropped off trucks. A sheriff was at one business and tried assisting us without luck. Finally, the national Uhaul contact helped by calling the business. They informed us that there was not a drop box for key, which I'd been looking for and instructed me to leave keys under floor mat. There wasn't a floor mat but I put keys under seat. I felt fine about it but it took a while. I'm glad I was not alone in the rural area at night. They need a drop box for keys and a sign informing people that they're at correct location for drop off. Good thing I was in a friendly small southern town.

I was overcharged for mileage and am having trouble getting it resolved. I have picture of odometer when I got in and when I left it that night and am being charged for miles that were used before I even got into it. Have made calls to local rep and they have not called me back to resolve yet. I am frustrated and do not ever plan to be ripped off by UHAUL again.

The gentleman managing the facility was very courteous and kind. I was hesitant after reading previous reviews. This gentleman provided excellent customer service. I was very pleased with entire process. I will use this location again.

The drop location was a small shed off the main road. But there were Uhaul signage at the location which made it very helpful to find. The man that helped me was very nice and friendly. It was a Sunday and looked like no one would be there, however he was there to help me.

Great experience overall, mostly due to the very friendly and helpful person who I spoke with on the phone. She was really patient in explaining the two pickup locations (one for truck, one for key). It was way more convenient than going to a physical Uhaul store has ever been for me... sorry Uhaul. One comment I have is that this location should let customers know that because the truck pickup location is on the property of another private business that has a gated entry, that customers should NOT leave their vehicle in the Uhaul vehicle's place when they pickup the Uhaul - if they will be trying to get their car back after hours. I almost left my car back there and I assume the business closes the gate after hours so I would have been in trouble! Thanks!

I received a call from Thomas the morning of my pickup to secure my U-Haul - he was not in the office at the time and was able to step me through the process with no issues! Very friendly and professional. Customer tip: There is no "Sheds123" signage on Hwy 70 so you need to pull in and look to the left of King Tire to find them. Overall, I was very pleased and would highly recommend!

Location was very unorganized. Young man at location was pleasant but unable to answer any questions, he had to call someone else for answers to any questions.

I was told when picking up the truck had half a tank. The truck did not have half a tank. Returned the truck on time and only put 6 miles on the truck. Prior to returning I added 15 dollars of gas. Just to find out this Uhaul location charged me 56 dollars plus a 30 dollar fee to fill up their truck! What is this? How in the world does this happen when I drove 6 miles.

Equipment wasn’t ready. No dolly or furniture pads available, although they were ordered on our reservation. Very disorganized. No one seemed to know what they were doing. We returned the truck about 6 hours later. We got calls looking for the truck on Sunday and again several days later.

The equipment they provided was dirty with something dried and coated on the windshield. The equipment broke down 1/2 across the US (wires disconnected off accelerator pedal. Drive shaft needed to be disengaged to tow. Wires were fixed. Drive shaft incorrectly reinstalled). Once back on the road, truck broke down again 55 miles for location. Due to incorrect reinstall if drive shaft, drive shaft snapped off vehicle and shot off the side of the road. Had to be towed to final destination. Requesting reimbursement of total cost......slap in the face being offered 10% refund.

I was overcharged for the mileage. I took a picture of the dashboard prior to leaving the facility and the mileage in the van was 13 miles more than shown on their paperwork. I submitted a complaint with the corporate office.

There was no human interaction so hard to rate them. Their site was very clean. The person I talked to prior to the return was very friendly. They checked the truck in more than an hour later than the actual return, costing me an extra charge. Customer service took care of that so no hard feelings there.

When I placed my reservation I was shown and told that the amount due at pickup wouod only be roughly $54. However the morning of picking up tje truck the owner of the business calls to confirm with me on the phone just a couple of hours before pickup I advised him that we would be paying in cash and the guy again did not say anything about any extra money. When we get there to pick up the truck the guy then tells us that we now have to pay $100 just to hold and then when we bring back the truck to drop off we would get our remainder amount of change from the $100. Well when my father goes to drop off the truck the guy isn't there and tells me to give him my dads address and phone number and that he would drop off what was owed after payong a total of $61 later that evening. Well he never shows up at my father's house and even the next morning and day the guy tells me he spoke with my father and that he would again be by his house and pay and never shows. It wasn't until the very next day and he was supposed to give my father back $38 but only gave $30 because of the mileage even after we replaced all gas used and filled the tank. So, I am completely bot happy with my services or treatment and the money that I feel was taken because the amount I was shown online when reserving and when I got the reservation confirmation call just 2 hours before picking up the truck and even asked about the amount and again was told nothing and onky needed to pay was $61 that was the rental, insurance, roadside, and mileage and all of the information was completely different than I had been told twice before showing. Also when the guy doesn't show for two days afterwards to not wcen pay the amount he had said he was paying us back either! I will never use Uhaul again! Only way to make this right is a refund of what I am owed! Period!
