Truck was dirty, we had to put something underneath our stuff to make sure it didn’t get dirty. But other than this, the staff who helped was very nice and helpful.

JASWINDER SBooking was easy and straightforward. We were told if there were any issues that we'd be called the day before picking up. We arrived in the morning to pick up a 15ft truck. We were told that there was no 15ft truck available because someone else had also booked the same truck. There was a 10ft truck on the lot but it had also been booked. The woman on site cancelled the other booking for the 10ft and gave it to us instead. Though I was thankful that we got a truck I couldn't help but feel for the other customer who was also relying on it. We were told that we called U-Haul and not the location where the truck was. I called the number back while talking to the woman and the phone rang so I most certainly called the Shell location. We were then told that U-Haul books multiple spots for the same vehicle and that was why our truck wasn't available. If this is true, it's a gamble that you'll get what you booked come the day you need it.
KAITLYN HThe sign in procedure was cumbersome. Had to go in to get the truck. The rep at the place couldn't figure out the problem either. Took too long to hand me the keys. I opted for mobile check in for quick pick up but it was a failure.
Swapnil PInspections should be done when customer done if possible, to make sure another customer has a clean vehicle. Windshields, interior for garbage, and maybe some sanitizing. Overall the first morning attendants were helpful and pleasant but the third attendant was not very professional, grabbed the key and that was the end.

BRYAN LNot giving out wrong information on amount still due. I was given the amount of an additional amount after I paid the 205 at time of pick up then at drop off you asked for an additional 160$. I called it in to be processed as they said over the phone it was. Now today I reviewed another bill for three hundred or so and now I noticed you did not process the $160 that you asked me for as the remaining bill. And now u want to send me to creditors when I was told after the $160 is paid I was good. And now recicwd a bill oit of the blue. I need a little time k sort the money out for this.
April MTruck was filled with cigarette ash and empty cans of pop. Everything I touched was sticky. It would have been nice if it was cleaned. Took me 3 days past my reservation to actually get the truck. When I was picking up, it took me an hour before I was able to leave the parking lot. Very slow process.

Richard BThe truck was full of dirt and garbage and stunk like cat pee. You say if a person returns it clean they minus 25 dollars!! I had to clean it myself!!!!! I have photos of how disgusting it was. I returned it very clean!!! I washed the dash board as it looks like it had never been cleaned. Very unhappy.
Christine CTrailer was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. It was buried in snow. The parking lot had over 1.5 feet and unplowed. No assistance offered to connect trailer. Upon return got stuck in the unplowed lot and was threatened by a lady who identified herself as the "manager" that she would charge me $200.00 or $300.00 if I didnt park it in the exact spot from where I got it despite the area being completely buried in unplowed snow.
William WI stopped in a few hours before pick up time to confirm our truck rental as well as a furniture dollie and utility dollie. When we picked up later they were unable to provide us with the dollies because they were trapped behind stock and staff couldn’t get them out. This was disappointing as we were told they were available a few hours before. Once we drove away we realized there was no windshield washer fluid at all. It was very mucky out requiring fluid to clean our windshield. They should ensure the vehicle is road ready for customers.

DENISE BShocked there was no sraper sweeper in the van in the winter. This should be provided in each vehicle. It was not fun to be driving in a snowstorm without one.
Janis SExperience was good. Had to call uhaul direct to book the equipment due to glitche in the system. I tried to book the dolly on the weekend but was told the staps where broken on both car dollys. I called again Monday and new steps had come in. Upon inspection of the trailer, the steps where in working order on the one trailer which I ended up renting. I was also sent with the new steps to make the repair if needed. Not sure on company policy for public to repair the straps on car dollys as I required tightening bolts to a certain spec and what holds the vehicle on the trailer. But staff at Shell where very friendly and made the vehicle move go smooth minus a few day delay. Thanks for the rental.

Katherine DThe truck cab was not clean, neither was the back of the truck when I picked it up It was -26°C with a foot of snow on the truck, there was no snow brush in the truck nor did the location have any to borrow, rent or buy. There was not washer fluid in the truck. The attending at pick up was completely unhelpful! I do not recommend this location! The roll up door was frozen shut, spent 30 min trying to defrost the rubber door seal the doors should be cracked just a hair to prevent freezing.

THOMAS JThis is a very busy gas station that also rents out Uhaul and sells vape products. It took a long time to get to the counter to begin the rental problem. The person at the counter was helpful, but I was left to hook up and inspect the trailer.

James LTruck was almost empty. Contract required me to put more fuel in (fill to 1/4) than the dispatched level of less than 1/8 of a tank. In addition having to drive out of my way to fuel resulted in going over my milage by 8miles. Getting a truck was a challenge as I had originally booked a 10 foot to be texted to pick up in 150mile house! Changed to a 15' truck to be informed when I arrived at location to pick it up that it had a hole in the fuel tank! Was rented a 20' instead from a different location in PG. Overall there was a lot of stress and confusion added to an already stressful move day.
Jennifer WYoung man who helped hook up trailer had not been trained - he had no idea and didn't tighten the trailer hitch properly. I drove a few meters down the road and trailer came loose and hit the back of my vehicle. Massive safety issue

Robert RHave dealers that care and know what they are doing. People are renting vehicles and putting their lives in the care of that vehicle to get them and possibly family to where they are going. Dealers need to be trained how to clean and look over the vehicles and the policies of the company. Based on our experience in Prince George, we would NEVER rent another uhaul again.

Jim HThe location was pretty good but the person had some problems trying to do things via the internet. I.e. the drop city doesn’t show up if you search by one of the 2 provinces that the city is located in so we wasted time trying to resolve the problem. The reservation system on line is not organized very well. I.e. it doesn’t seem to manage Canadian locations well. In Prince George it was giving incorrect hours of being open and wouldn’t let me book it.

CRYSTAL TMake sure you verify that the vehicles have no issues when returned or prior to being picked up. My vehicle had a malfunctioning fuel tank. Was unable to get fuel in it, possible air lock. But it was quite the hassle, taking up to 30 minutes to put in 1/2 tank of fuel. I did mention it, when I finally reached my destination at Fermco rentals in Vernon BC. Would have been nice to have been compensated for the inconvenience. Brian Brooks

jason TThe Store owner was confrontational. I was concerned the store clerk was taking too many pictures of my "Enhanced Drivers License". When I ask why so many pictures she stated that somehow the information entered disappeared and she showed me the cell phone she was using. I was satisfidied with that but the owner told me I was talking to the young lady like she was a slave. I told him he was racist because two of us were native indians. After we successfully completed the rental agreement and got in the truck and started to drive away, the owner sent the girl out to tell me I could not park my car in the parking lot and had to move it or he would have my car towed away. Needless to say, but I'm saying it, I went into the store and asked in an angry voice why when I clearly said to the staff behind the counter that I parked near the end of the building and was it OK and the reply was YES IT IS OK. The manager stated that he did not like the way I questioned the clerck and stated again that I talked to the young lady like she was a slave. He was quick to get angry and make unnessaccery accusations when in fact my concern is that my drivers licence is like a passport to cross the Canadian boarder into the USA and it has very personal information in the scanning codes. I said cancell the rental and we will go somewhere else - he said I will be paying a cancellation fee if I did because the contract agreement was complete. This made me even more angry and I took pictures of him and the staff and then he became raging angry and tried to take my cell phone away. And in his anger said leave the truck. I did not leave the truck as it was getting to late. The truck windsheild washer tank was empty, the cab had garbage and mud on the floor. The box of the rental had a large sheet of used plastic on the floor and was not sweeped. I do not recommend The Shell Gas station for any kind of rental. The staff were great people to deal with but the owner is quick to get angry.
