Truck was ragged out. Carpet by the pedals was peeling down and covering both gas and brake pedals and making it unsafe to drive. The pickup location guy didn't walk me out to the truck to check for damages. When I got in the truck the gas was at a half a tank. When I tried to turn the truck in at the other location the man said it was supposed to be at 5/8 of a tank. I told him that wasn't where it was when I got it. I am very upset that I was charged extra for gas that wasn't in it to begin with. This was the worst uhaul experience I have ever had. Something needs to be done about this. I was not happy about the fact that I indicated I did not want to pay the $14 for insurance and just because I made a change to the type of hand trucks I wanted to rent, the insurance was automatically added. My choice was to either wait another 20 minutes to start all over again AND have $93 on hold for 5 days or pay the $14. I neither had the time or the money to start all over again & I had to settle with paying the money for something I didn't want to pay for. You should really make it easier to make a revision to the rental order.CHRISSY D.
