This is my second rental in about a month. Both went very smoothly. Very pleased with it. Two minor things. Might be good at time of rental to remind the person to take pictures when returning and so it online then (I did not read that text until after I left). Second item is the new cargo vans are terrific, would have loved to use one for my second rental, but no one way rentals for van. Would like to see that. I had to take a 15 truck, which was pretty empty! Thanks again!

Explain what your being charged and why and how many miles you are allowed. Dealt with 2 different locations and both were guys and neither of them were helpful or informative

First of all, the business phone number is personal cell phone number. Left messages that were not returned and had to call back until he felt like picking up the phone. He answers the phone but is not in the office to take my credit card info. Never called me back. Sent my father to make sure there was a reservation for me. He was able to confirm this. Then Uhaul calls me and leaves a message telling me that the truck has to be returned to CT. I call back and of course had to leave a message telling him that I cannot return the truck to CT and to call me back. Nothing for two days. The day of he calls me at 8:50AM and asks where I am because my reservation was for 8:30AM. Then I ask until what time are they open til’? He then tells me I have until 9:45AM. I am in Providence and have to rush to Richmond. Very unprofessional and never again!

Make sure you have the trucks listed on your site so that when i rent one i dont get the smallest truck and pay the same price.

I was charged an entire day, I returned truck after maybe 4 hours. I also was charged on an estimated mileage when i was well under the 100 miles i was charged for. No information was given

I ordered moving blankets and paid for them - they were NOT in the truck nor was there anyone there on Sunday (location was closed so seeking assistance was not an option). The charge needs to be removed from my costs

This was the worst customer service experience of my life. Uhaul changes my reservation to another location 30 miles away 5 days prior to move. Uhaul customer service said there were no other trucks available. THIS WAS A LIE!! I checked the next day and found same truck (4 of them!) Less than 10 miles away. Uhaul only wanted to increase the mileage they could charge on a local move. I felt robbed and taken advantage of my Uhaul and treated very poorly by their customer service representatives. I will have to find alternatives when I move again. Uhaul should be ashamed.

Had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick up this truck because at the last minute no trucks were available at the location I originally reserved a truck at.

My only disappointment was the gas level in the truck at pick-up. It was at 1/8 tank, which I thought was too low to start the rental. On the good side, the truck was very new, and very clean. Although a little involved, the automated pick-up went well.

How a place can wait til the next day to check my truck in that I dropped off baffles me the guy says he closes at 2 I dropped it off at 1245! With half a tank that I wasn’t getting back! Thank god this is my last move because I’ll never use this company again and I’ll let people know in the south county area how Unprofessional they really are the reception tried say they must be busy! Not even close nonone was even there!

I picked up the truck after hours, so was very disappointed to find that the dolly I ordered was not in the truck. There was no one to ask and I was on hold for quite some time on the 800 number.

The owner of pick up place not there .fishing. Had to wait an hour and a half for him to come back . Had sent employee instead who didn't know what he was doing at all and kept asking us what to do. Didn't give us paperwork for inside truck if pulled over. No paperwork. Cab was dirty. Dry drinks stuck to middle of seat . Truck had no pick up speed for high traffic volume. Going 45 in 70 mph traffic. Rear lights on right back trailer not working at all . Running nor signal. Dangerous. Ratchets to hold front tires locked came undone twice. Both times we stopped. Were open. Also dangerous.could of had car come off trailer in middle of road. Reported to the lady at drop off location. 2nd.bad experience we've had. With u haul.

I called back after drop off yesterday to confirm that they had checked in my rental trailer as the website was showing that it was still out. The guy who answered the phone was immediately very defensive and very quick to anger and was ready for a fight right from the start. All I asked was that he confirm that they had checked it in. Wouldn't rent there or buy a car there (which seems to be their primary business). Never in a million years.

I had to go to 2 locations for 1 trailer . The first store In Palmer ma didn't have a clue on how to do paperwork or online reservations. I then had to call a store in RI that had everything I needed . I was not very happy this am when I went to first store and saw trailer sitting there but couldn't rent it due to the owner not being onsite and computers down . The 2nd store was perfect !!! Thanks RI UHAUL .

trailer fell off the hitch before I got to my house, I had to put it back on & someone came out of a house & helped me. when I informed the owner what happen he slupped it off. he put it on I didn't. when I brought it back I took the trailed off he didn't.
