Looked on the bill got overcharged for no reason. Then had to open dispute to get our refund which was issued later . But should have not happened . What if you didn't check bill.

Harmeet SThe dealer told me the truck is $19 a day plus $0.89 per km, however when I received the bill there were multiple additional charges which were never explained to me. 1. $20 after hour service fee. This is ridiculous as we never asked the dealer to work after hours. I called on Friday afternoon and asked to rent a truck on Saturday morning, but he asked me to pick up the truck on Friday. So I went there straight away and waited for long time, as the guys was talking on phone, and processing other things in parallel while submitting the rental form for me. And now he wants to charge me $20 for after hour service! 2. $59.85 rental charge. What is it? The dealer said it's because I didn't stop the rental in my app after I returned the key, So the rental continued until he stopped it on Monday. But I've never installed the app and he didn't ask me to do that. He just asked me to park the truck at the same parking lot and drop the key in the u-haul key box, and that's what I did. Why it's charging me $59 extra? It's ridiculous that I am charged for $79 extra +tax. I need an explanation for that.
Wang XLet customers know to take pictures before dropping key as the app does not let you take pictures from your gallery , I took picture of dash then locked vehicle , dropped key .went into my rides car to go to app then find this all out. Other than that is was fine thank you
Tannis LWorker kept hanging up when calling before rental about me trying to inform my you her sister is picking the rental as I was stuck in another city and couldn’t make pick up. Tried saying “I hung up? Oh so we’re closed at 4 today. I called at 4:17 for the 3rd time and I stated online it says you’re open until 5… Oh I’ll wait for you then since you reserved the time.. My sister showed up and he was not very responsive and was on his personal cellphone majority of the time. At the end for returning the truck he said “you don’t need photos for returning it never asks when I do it on the computer” My sister informed “every time we return the rental it does ask for photos” We are never using this location and should not be with this ever as their customer service is not good and it seems the guy didn’t know English when my boyfriend called and when we were in person as I noticed his voice was the same guy who hung up on me. Horrible service ever.

Shannon GI booked and paid for some moving blankets when I made my reservation, and they did not have any, and nobody told me in advance. They were not even aware I wanted them. This was really shitty customer service, and required me to use some of my VERY EXPENSIVE kilometres with my rental truck, to visit another UHaul location that actually had them in stock.
DOUGLAS G3rd time rqst to have someone call me re: fuel charge There is NO WAY I used 38 litres driving just 145 km - I filled vehicle before returning with 30 liters - an extra 8 litre fuel charge is excessive! Use some common sense here. Thanks, otherwise the experience was good. Call me 604 787-3581
Donald TI wasn't completely certain where to leave the vehicle keys when I returned the vehicle because the office was closed for the statutory holiday. I should have been more certain of that procedure when I picked up the vehicle. Otherwise my rental went OK. My pick up / drop off location was very convenient. The staff were pleasant and knowledgeable. I am satisfied with my rental experience.
Raymond TUnfortunately your staff there are useless I was booked in to collect the pick up at 10. To 10.30 got there at 10.30 only for the person of not her fault because she is new the person that should have been looking over her wasn’t there , then finally got out of there at 11.15, but when I returned it at 6.30 pm they had the cheek to say I was late bringing it back & tried to change me a late fee but I stood my ground & told the I booked it from 10 ish till 6 to 6.30 & because you incompetence staff I didn’t get on the rd till 11.15 am . So disappointed with the service & staff there

Emma CProper key drop box wasn't available for dropping vehicles after hours. A drop box would definitely help customers. All what's is there to drop is a small opening on the main door of the shop.
Chethan NI guess it's standard procedure, but it took me by surprise that the pickup location that I had specified was more of a "request", and the day before I was to pick it up they called and told me the actual pickup location, which was further away and also opened more than an hour later than the one I requested, which was the first thing to throw off my plans for the day. The walkaround portion of picking up the truck was a disaster. They assume that everybody has a smartphone and data plan to do everything via their web site. The best they could come up with to help was to let me use the wifi hotspot on one of their phones, and even with that the web site was broken. In order to submit photos it insisted on launching my camera app directly and then pulling in the resulting photo to upload, but that process didn't work and there was no way for me to just specify the file for a photo that I had already taken. It also wouldn't allow me to submit any textual comments without also attaching photos, so I literally couldn't finish the procedure. And I really needed to submit *something*, because aside from the serial number the truck *looked completely different* than the photos they had on record for it, and that different look included a huge bit of unrecorded graffiti. After more than an hour of trying to do a simple walkaround, I just gave up. The person who was checking me in just gave me the contact info for their location manager to vouch for me, and I took a bunch of photos and stored them to show later if they decided to blame me for some damage or the graffiti or having the wrong truck or whatever else on the other end. Thank god that didn't end up happening. During the walkaround, while I was alone trying to work through the web site (the clerk was, at best, too busy to be much help with this), I was confronted by an unhappy business owner next door who was sick of having a bunch of Uhaul trucks parked in spaces that were supposed to be for his customers. He had even placed paper notes under the wipers of all of them (which I hadn't been able to make sense of until he actually talked to me in person). I could definitely sympathize, but I obviously couldn't do anything other than point him to the location in charge of the trucks. I hope that he got them to move the trucks to a better location in the parking lot. Also, my reservation had included furniture pads, and when I was in their office checking in I was informed that they don't have those, and their best suggestion was to drive to another location to retrieve some, which I definitely no longer had time to do. If Uhaul can relocate my pickup location at the last minute because that's where the truck is, then the least they could do is also ensure that the location has the other items that I reserved (sorry, "requested"). Thankfully, during the walkaround when I opened the back of the truck to check it, there were furniture pads sitting in there. So either somebody actually planned ahead and stuck them in there for me and then forgot (given the rest of my experience, I think that's unlikely), or nobody is keeping track of any of this and I just got lucky that the last people to use the truck had some. So after driving the extra distance to the location, at a later opening time than I had planned, and spending more than an hour trying to do a simple walkaround procedure, I was at least 2-3 hours behind schedule when I finally arrived home to start packing. That delay set me behind for the entire rest of the day, and I ended up not having enough time to finish loading the truck that day before my storage location closed, so I had to come back the next morning to finish. That, in turn, set me behind on my travel schedule. Thankfully I still managed to make it to all of the hotels I had booked rather than having to reschedule any of them, but the first few days of driving became very long and stressful when I had planned them to be relatively slow and relaxed.

Richard TOutside of the equipment and cleanliness of the vehicle, this was by far the worst experience I've ever had moving or with any business in general. My appointment was for 10am, I arrived on time for it seeing the business was not open. After waiting 45 mins- an hour, a man showed up saying there was am emergency and sorry for the delay. During that time i was told by the store owner next door this is a habitual issue with this business. After being an hour late I figured I would be offered some sort of compensation, but this was not the case. I guess I will take my business elsewhere if this is how I'm going to be treated

Sergii KI had a reservation for 9am. The store didn’t open until 10am. Called 3 times and was placed in the queue over and over. Finally had a $50 credit applied but my helpers I had hired were from 9-11 and we couldnt complete the move. Poor experience.
Nathan KMy reservation overall had to be changed several times between the White Rock and South Surrey locations. They double booked every reservation. I booked for 24 hours 3pm-3pm, but had to return it by 11am. The location wasn’t even open to rent it out again to anyone at 11am. I had reduced moving support to due the 4 hour reduction in time, no communication on returning procedure to a closed location, didn’t have my phone with me as I didn’t know I would need it, and just really disappointed in the whole experience. Not sure if I will use Uhaul again, but definitely not this location

JAYDEEPSINH TI felt the service was genuine. The lady was kind, friendly and prompt. My only constructive feedback was in regard to the vehicle. It had snowed, rained, then froze the night before, so the van was covered with ice. It took 20 minutes to clear the snow, warm the van and scrape the ice. In fact, the driverside rear view mirror was covered with ice the entire time.. so I had to stick my head out the window to shoulder check. Luckily I brought a snow brush.. however, I could never clear the thick sheet of ice that covered the driverside rear view mirror. Other than that, it was a pretty good experience.

CLIVE FThe app sent me to the wrong pickup location. Not to mention how difficult it was to find in itself. The tiny uhaul sticker was difficult to find. When I finally found it, it was actually closed for business for quite some time. Then it sent me to Sky _____location that has no customer parking and was also extremely difficult to locate. The lady working there was very helpful and calm which helped alot! In the end, all went well. I suppose it is Google that needs a bad review and I will learn to find free parking anywhere! Thanks!
DIANE WI didnt get anything i booked. Didnt get 2 furniture dollies, didn’t get furniture mats, and the tiny utility dolly they pulled out from their closet/bathroom was of very little help. This was the biggest joke of a place i have ever dealt with

JANET TThe cargo van I rented had had some after market reflectors mounted to the top back edge of its roots. The bolts attaching these protruded about an inch into the back entrance of the van. I sliced my skull open on one of them. When I reported this serious problem (these could easily puncture through someone's skull) the Uhaul agent did not even venture out to see the problem with me. That's because he was the sole proprietor of a small business that involved various other services. He was busy taking a passport photo and had not time to learn about my issue.
BRADLEY PI retuned the vehicle with same amount of as earlier but the vendor charged me extra around $12 without even tell me on card . Which is not exceptable . It’s one of the worst experience of my life . I felt cheated
