A ramp would have been handy. We had our own hand cart.

lori gI previously gave this site and this service a 1 star review. I moved it up by only one star but I am hopeful that they can improve. The area manager made me whole by correcting the billing records but the fundamentals at the rental site need to be fixed. I commend the company for doing what was the basic right thing to do by me. I had some small anguish and pain to make it right myself so I will be unwilling to be a guinea pig at this location and try again. I used a site in Napa for another rental and so far, so good. That one earns a better rating.
Glendon OThe oil was empty. Owner was not there so I had to call 800 number and they were really good about walking me through it. I would recommend using the eighth Street location in Sonoma.

MARIA SNot allowing online pickup after 60min in a location with no support is terrible policy. I wasted an hour on a busy day just trying to access the truck.
Jeremy MI spent over an hour using the app to get the truck and almost the same amount of time returning the truck.The app can not replace a human representative. It was horrible! I must have called customer support 4 or 5 times. They were the only good thing about my experience. The app is a nightmare!

Susan SThere wasn’t a uhaul representative at this location. I had to show up for my reservation and the marker employees made me call a number scribbled on a piece of paper. I reached the guy Omar and he said he would be down in 7 minutes. He calls me 7 minutes later to tell me he’s 4 minutes away. 20 minutes later he arrived. There was no value for my time and I drove 30 mins to get to this location just to wait 30 minutes in the parking lot.

David MTwo days ahead I signed up for 7:30 AM 24/7 mobile phone based pick up. I made sure I selected that option. The confirmation email shows it. When I tried to pick it up I was given the message that it was scheduled for in person hand off and I needed to wait until 8:00 AM. The Uhaul representative showed up around 8:10. This ate into the time I had to do the thing I was going to do with the truck. I understand that two days isn’t much, however it appears that maybe only one Uhaul rep works here. If this location has only one person managing it you may want to remove the 24/7 pick up option. Clearly the work load is too much. From now on I only trust that option at a full Uhaul facility and not a “neighborhood dealer. “

John CI was charged $40 for blankets that they didn't have there. The vehicle I was given was in terrible condition, and took a quarter tank of gas just to go 35 mi. The transmission on that vehicle is terrible. It shifts at anywhere between 4500 RPMs and 3000 RPMs. Worse thing, the roof leaked and all of the most important fragile things on the shelf above the cab got soaked

Gloria PVery inconvenient area - the Uhaul place is located behind a fruit stand, the Uhaul representative is in the fruit stand as well. Although the service was great, the location was terrible.
Ashley AThe truck was given to us with NO gas and the drivers side door was not able to be unlocked so we had to crawl through the passenger door. We got gas immediately, drove to our location to load and went to start the truck and the battery was dead. We had to call roadside assistance and wait for service. This delayed our trip by having to spend the night instead of leave right after loading. NOT HAPPY.
