The online reservation system was not accurate. The trailer I needed was not available at the location of my choosing even though the online system indicated it was. I was only informed of the lack of inventory and redirected to a different location with minimal time before pickup. Again the trailer was not available at that second location and was over one hour away. After calling u-haul multiple times and getting disconnected, I finally spoke to a representative who informed me the trailer I requested was at a location only 15 mins away from my location. In the future, it would be beneficial to have an updated inventory, to inform clients in advance when the reservation is not possible at the location of choice, to not send a client to a location that does not have the correct inventory and is over one hour away when a much closer location has the equipment needed.

TAREG SThe person that helped me with the return gave me a lot of valuable information that had I known before would have saved me an hour in driving and gas ending up going to a location that was the opposite direction from where I live. I had chosen no return office chosen and when I called the agent after delivery the agent kept telling me the closest location, that was the opposite direction from where I live even though I insisted that there was a much better option and location that would have left me 10 minutes from my home and not 50 minutes, but she insisted I had to go to the much further. The person who rec'd my equipment said what I'd been told was wrong.
GORDON KExcellent service. I got a van in less then 10 min. When returned I just dropped the keys. The van was very clean and well maintained.
JOVO DI was told to bring it back between 3/4 and 7/8 full of gas which I did. But you charged me for 15 litres of gas? Go figure.
JEAN LThere needs to be a system to pick up the keys when the store is closed (i.e. after hours). The instructions of 24/7 pick up online was different than what you had to do at this place. This created confusion and huge pain. The people working there were nice and helpful which is appreciated but the system needs to be updated.

Romodan BCentral booking texted a few days before pickup asking us to collect our pre booked U-Haul at a location about 100 miles from where we live. We went to our local U-Haul agent on Mac S. Ottawa and they arranged for us to pick up our trailer there as previously arranged. They were excellent and gave us great service.
Brian WThis location was excelent. The one in Coventry Road, Ottawa was terrible. They told me they dont have anything and they did not try to resolve my issue. In general I appreciate that that you gave me a diacount for all the issues before I got my equipment. Thank you for the service.
SANDRA HI’m assuming this is an average space as garage/uhaul combo in Ottawa. I had trouble finding a spot to park the trailer I rented that wouldn’t lead to an extra fee because there doesn’t seem to have a designated spot and the location and the street was packed with to-be-repaired vehicles and U-Hauls (granted long weekend of September being a moving time for a lot of people), so it was hard finding a spot that wasn’t at the neighbouring garage, blocking an entryway or street or door. First time dropping during closed hours so that’s partly a learning curve for me, but finding the barcode took me a couple of minutes because there’s other QR codes on the window so the U-Haul barcode was hard to find amongst the clutter since it’s comparatively small - I think it should be singled out or highlighted in some way.

Bozhidar DRough looking site with water problems (hard to find a place to park that wasn’t in a puddle)! But it did the trick. Not my fav Uhaul carrier but it wouldn’t avoid it in the future if they had the truck I needed! It was after hours so I don’t know if the staff are helpful but I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt as I need to answer that question to submit my review.

Russ MThe Southkeys location is a garage. It looks like you're going back in the 1950's. No asphalt on the "street" and no easy parking for a truck. Uhaul can do a lot better here.

daniel yWhile the overall experience was good, a couple of items to pay attention to: - cargo area was not well swept (there was quite a lot of dirt, debris and stones on the bed of the cargo area); - the fuel was not on 1/4 as described (it was half way between E and 1/4 line, the electronic mileage read "48 MILES TO E")

GAMAL ECustomer service was good- however I was waited 30mins to receive my rental and there were no moving blankets available. Staff did not inform me that I would have to complete a self check out on the day after.
PAulette DMy good friend recommended me to this specific location Scott Fraser and I was extremely impressed. Picking up the 26' uhaul moving truck on the busiest weekend was a breeze. Staff very knowledgeable and informed me of everything I needed to know before leaving and dropping off. Thank you guys for making this part of a large move stress less. I would recommend this location to all my network

Art Pthe 20' moving van was fine other than a pile of furniture pads leftover in the back. the 26' supermover was filthy. back needed a sweep and furniture pads removed. Front end was littered with tobacco flakes mostly in the dash and fold down center console, as well as spilt coffee in the fold down center console. very much smelled of excessive smoking. 2 dirty rags left behind the seats. I was a bit sketched out by the staff at this location. I opted not to address my concerns there but instead after use at the drop off location(1515 merivale rd) which i can now say have had several pleasant experiences at.

Joshua CI was guaranteed a 10 foot box truck, I have the email which clearly states it, yet my reservation was changed two days before, and they tried to get give me a 26 foot truck, which is ludicrous, to move one bedroom worth of stuff. When I refused that they offered a fifteen foot truck which I reluctantly accepted out of desperation. The truck had a bigger engine than the 10 ft and was heavier, thus costing me significantly more in gasoline to make a simple , Small move. My suggestion is that you don’t guarantee your reaervations if you are not going to honour the guarantee and make some form of restitution when you fail to provide the “guaranteed” vehicle. Very unprofessional, will not use your services again based on my experience. . I am happy to display the email which clearly states my guaranteed reservation and stipulates the 10 ft box. There was no disclaimer visible on that email stating that substitute vehicles are part of that deal. Ok
Peter GHussen had stated that he would leave the drop-off location open, as I told him I was no longer able to drop it off in Kingston. He said that it would not be an issue & I could drop it off at any uhaul location. I was surprised to have an extra charge of $297. contract #78428699

Hermann HUhaul penalized me $30 for forgetting to fill up the tank. This is cruel and I’m never gonna rent from Uhaul again. Very disappointed!
ALAMIN MThe area feels unsafe to leave your car while you rent. The business was supposed to be open, yet it was closed. Thankfully, when I called Uhaul, I got great help from the lady on the phone. The driver's seat was broken, good thing I didn't have to go far with the truck.

Gael DI returned the vehicle at 2pm .it was due at 2:30 pm. The employee never gave me a receipt, said everything was fine and just took the keys. Then I niticer later that night I was charged $4 and when I inquired the next at the call centre I was told that I was charged an extra day because it was marked that I returned the truck at 4pm . What is an outright lie. This is a complete scam.
