The location has a locked fence and is not a great place to have to go to drop off after hours. The road front in front of the locked gate is where I had to leave the uhaul and I felt uncomfortable about trying to wedge the large 15 foot truck parallel to the fence in order to move it safely enough off the main highway. There were other uhaul rentals already parked out front and in the dark I had a hard time locating where to drop the keys. I have rented lots of trucks and never had to leave a vehicle this close to a main road. If the owners shop and cars are important enough to park behind a locked fence after hours then I would think the Uhaul company property would be just as valuable and much too valuable to leave within 10 foot of a main 4 lane highway. If he locks his location up and post dogs on property signs then why would I want to be in that neighborhood to drop off a truck after hours? I should have been warned. Just saying. Based on the looks of the property and the rental process to pick up and drop off and the availability of other locations around me I would not rent a truck there. Just think this location should have corporate give it a second look.

They were busy when I dropped off my truck and could not check me out. They said that they would later and I was worried that this process too would be a giant pain in my @#@ as had the process of finally picking up my truck. But it went well as they finally did check me out later in the day and send a confirmation that everything was clean and done. Amen and goodbye Uhaul

The staff made sure to contact us immediately upon learning they would be closing sooner than we anticipated. They also worked with us when we could not locate the key drop. Overall, this was a great location and team.

It took me 45 Mins to locate this business. When I called the guy told me they were closed I tried to explain I had a mobile pickup and hung up on me. This location is very hard to find due to road work in the area. The company needs to have more respect for people if they are going to be a Uhaul dealer.

Great customer service! Owner called to let me know about construction going on, and gave detailed instructions on how to navigate such to get to his site. Very helpful.

I actually booked the reservation for a different location but U-Haul online changed the pickup location without my knowledge, so I wasted an hour going to the wrong location (where my confirmation email said to go, and then had difficulty getting to the alternate location due to a closed bridge.

Check in took too long and had to keep entering the same info in repeatedly. Would have preferred to do the stuff before I got there. Since it was not a standard Uhal location you should tell renter where the truck will be and where the keys will be located. It took me 45 minutes to get the truck. No signed to direct me when picking up - sitting outside gate that was locked. The first representative was mean and nasty - transferred me when she said she would put me on a brief hold. The second representative was amazing!

No one was there when dropped off but was not a problem. Again, we were told we had one free day because our reservation was changed to a pickup location over an hour away. We should receive a credit for future rental.

Grease the tracks on trailer door. It was sticking and caused the door to be uneven when pulling down.

I had reserved pick up for the trailer at this dealer as it was open on Sunday. Dealer said "I was lucky to get the trailer because he was not open on Sunday. I/ve told Uhaul that many times." He reassured me I could return the trailer early for a refund of advanced payment. he kindly gave me his cell number to call if he was not open. I called that number to return on Tuesday after 2 days, he said "I/m not open. DOn't leave the trailer outside the locked gate." I found another location to return the trailer and received the refund of payment. I'd recommend staying away from this dealer as hours are unreliable. The dealer himself was ok to deal with in spite of the unreliable hours of business..

When I picked up the trailer, there was broken mirror glass and grass clippings in it. Didn't affect my use of it.

I have rented my times from others in the area. This is now my go to place for U-HAUL rentals. Kris is very helpful, friendly and professional. I look forward to doing business again with Kris on all my rental and automotive needs.

The location was a thrift shop/towing company building in which you walk into an open shop where vehicles are being worked on in front of you along with clothing racks everywhere and no lighting whatsoever was on. There was trash everywhere and it was ran down severely! Then once getting the Paperwork done and taking my money, the worker Then said the truck had a warning light on the dash that was on and that it was associated with the braking system. Then he tried to reassure me that it was “ok & not to worry about it that he uses the trucks and trailers to move things for his business all the time because they don’t have tracking devices on them”!!!! Then told me if I had any issues to call the 800 number not him that he would not help me! I told him I would like to rent the other truck he had that was smaller, but he said to take this truck and call the 800 number when it broke down. Once getting into The truck was NOT OK! It Was not safe to drive and was making all sorts of noises and would not stop when you pressed the brakes! I ended up leaving it parked at Lowe’s hardware over night because I did not feel safe driving it back. There was trash in the rear cargo area of the truck, & cigarette packs, a mtn dew bottle & napkins stuffed in between the seats. After returning the truck, with close to 3/4 tank of gas that when I picked it up the paperwork said it had 8/14ths but it was under a 1/2 tank. Then,... I get back to return the rolling nasty unsafe moving truck to the dump of a location and there is no one there to check the truck back in!!! There was one kid in one room eating, one mechanic in another room and he said just to leave the keys with him and he’d get it to the man that worked there!!! Now I get my updated bill and I AM CHARGED A CLEANING FEEEE??????? WHAT!

Drop off should be available at ANY UHaul contractor. This place was almost 30-40 minutes away from my storage unit, who I might add, did NOT allow for the free month of storage as FALSELY ADVERTISED upon making my reservation online. When speaking to the U-Haul representative I inquired about any possible catch to this because there was none mentioned in the fine print. She mentioned it would be only limited to AVAILABILITY, which is totally understandable. The first call I made was to Metts storage in New Bern and they told me the THIRD month was free. U-Haul does NOT make notice of this, and I made the storage facility aware as well. Of course I called and spoke to another representative who repeated to me what I knew of the free month being restricted to availability. She then offered to search for other storage facilities and in doing so, the first one she mentioned was the SAME ONE I’d already called and I told her so. She then tells me it was my own choice to refuse their offer and I tell her, nowhere in U-Haul’s advertisement does it say, “free storage *dependent upon storage facility policy*”.. The offer is extremely misleading and for the representative to tell me it was my own choice to refuse the storage facility’s offer was awfully ballsy of her considering she was about to walk me right back into the same problem anyway. Moving is already expensive and I was kind of counting on that free month because I wasn’t even needing a unit that long and I thought that was the most convenient and appealing part in making the reservation anyway. I was about to cancel after the inconvenience of having to drive out of the way to get the truck as it was, which if I’m not mistaken, I thought you all owed me $50 for THAT inconvenience, but I kept it because that free storage would’ve come in handy. I will make sure NOT to refer anyone I know

The man that did the contract and hooked up auto transport must HV had a tough day, not not sociable not friendly. I was surprised he charged me $20 to hook up auto transport to my van. I am paraplegic and could not hook up auto transport myself.
