Natalie HolanekThe rep was good, the facility was too small, cramped and dark. The location where the trucks are parked do not have pavement, damaged my car and there could’ve been snakes in the overgrowth. The 24 hour service is a joke, get rid of it until you can overhaul it. It was too complicated, too many security steps, and you need everything in writing. The verbal instructions were limited and the horrible experience could’ve been prevented with a one page document explaining the process. When it finally worked, your system experienced technical problems, error out and I had to start over.

summer dupontMy complaint is with the reservation system or the first location I was scheduled for pickup. I had to go to the next town to get a truck that was confirmed for me 1/2 mile from my house with a crew of people waiting.

Nathan HalpinI had to go to 3 different locations before I could pick up the truck, with the other locations saying they did not have it and the previous customer dropped it off at a different location than where they had agreed to drop it off(which I hope he was charged a penalty for different drop-off because it messed me up). A bit better notice on this would be nice. Plus the location did not have the appearance of a professional business and appeared like a 3rd party run-down location, with the vehicles hidden and parked behind a low-grade gas station. You can do better, u-haul.

pam vivianThe UHAUL representative was very helpful. However, the truck itself had water in the door handle, I assume the window was left cracked open during a rainstorm. It wasn't pleasant dipping my hand in water trying to close the door. Other than that the experience was decent.
ROBERT WATSONDo a maintenance on ur trucks before the renter picks the truck up. We scheduled a pick up for 9 am couple of hours later hubby comes back with the truck. We are packing and loading away . At 3 pm my husband tells me that the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON. We call U-HAUL AND WAS TOLD IT COULD BE A 2 hrs wait to get someone out to look at the truck! REALLY?!! Our move was from NC to TX with a 6 yr old with ADHD. Finally someone showed up to look at the truck. He said it was an error code and we were clear to drive. It’s now after 6pm and we desire to stop packing and loading for the night. Sunday afternoon came and we are finally hitting the road. About 100 miles into our move the light is on again! We had to get off the hwy so someone could look at the truck again! This was 5:30/6:00. Around 7 pm someone come to check the truck out again. Another error code! Cleared again. In the morning we head out again. We were told to ignore the light and keep driving we would be ok. ITS NOT OK WHEN UR NOT SURE IF UR GOING TO BE BROKE DOWN OR NOT! A move that big is one thing. With a grand child with issues is another. We planned for all that but not a rental that cost a lot and added to our stress 3 times over. We like to travel at nite. Child is asleep and not much traffic. This truck cause us to feel like we could only travel in daytime and we ended up having to rent a room 3 nites. To top it off we got the truck back on the day it was due, but not at 9 am as we picked up. It was at 6:30ish. We were billed another $80 something dollars! Way to go U-HAUL. We were using ur service a lot every couple of years. I don’t think we will be back for more headaches from ur in maintained trucks. When I said something to the lady where we were dropping off on a phone call I was told” I’m sorry for ur trouble but that’s not a reflection on us”. Oh really!??? Interesting....

LISA MONTGOMERYBe honest about what time the staff will be at the location for pick up. I did the 24/7 pick up but was told the facility opened at 8. As I was driving off around 845 an employee pulled up with the dolly I had requested..... I turned down the dolly.
Susan ByersAfter ordering truck from Bragg Blvd, was directed to pick up on Legion Rd...15-20 miles in opposite direction from my home. Picked up truck which had a slight vibration while going to my home. Once loaded and underway, vibration got worse as the speed increased starting about 35.mph. At 55-60 mph vibration was so strong it would knock hands off the steering wheel and left front wheel was bouncing approx. 3/4 in off the ground. Had to take a slower route to new home which stretched the trip from 4 hrs to 8 hrs. (Double time - double gas)

Theodore LandoeSo I rented a 20ft truck and per the contract I only drove 72 miles and they chargers me for 144 miles and doubled the mileage. We also filled the tank and was charged for that. And the truck was dirty inside and out. There were dead bugs all over the truck and windshield.

Ocie Stroud MelvinHave someone in the office when customers arrive. We waited over 15 minutes for someone to assist us. Then it took another 15 minutes to print all the paperwork for signature. Also need to provide a way to safely drive the 15' truck in the opposite direction from the flow of traffic - cannot make a u-turn with this size truck - had to travel 5 miles out of our way to take the truck to the destination of the materials to be moved.

christopher maslouskiI requested the truck and trailer at least a week out for a one way move. When I went to pick up the truck and trailer they were not attached and when I attached the trailer non of the lights worked. The place did not check the equipment before signing it to me. After 5 hours of waiting and having the people perform a maintenance check they determined it was the truck. However during this 5 hours I had to leave to load up the truck- which took 30 minutes. I picked up the truck and trailer Friday and was moving out of state on Sunday and the final apartment walk though on Saturday. So at 7 o'clock at night I took the truck and trailer that didn't work. My trailer lights never worked and my exhaust pipe was not connected and when roadside assistance tried to fix it, he determined that if connected, it would set the truck on fire. So my son and I road the entire 8 days in a rental truck that sounded like a stock car. Every time we pulled off for the night it took my son and I a while to get full hearing back. The brakes were shakey the whole ride and made me nervous going downhill. It kept slipping out of gear and not changing gears appropriately. The people here were nice enough but unorganized and did not perform the safety checks needed and had no way of fixing anything.
