Michael OMobile App did not work - it was unable to match the location to the address in two different devices (LG V50 and Samsung Galaxy S22). Location services permissions were enabled always on for the U-Haul app and location was verified accurate and functional with Google maps "current location"
Tyler KYour app is totally useless. It took 2 hours to get the truck and I ended up waiting for the store to open in order to complete the process. The same thing happened to my brother 2 weeks previous at a different location. 2 thumbs down. Will never use it again .
Dave LIn case the above comments on the 1-800 line experience didn’t register, here is a repeat: This comment is not directed at the location, rather at the uHaul customer service 1-800 line and the process. Simply stated in terms you should be able to feel my experience come through - it sucks and was painful to say the least. No assistance was received and was let down at each transfer to ‘another department’.
James FComputer system wasn't working when I returned the 5x8 trailer I rented for the afternoon. My receipt has to be emailed, so I didn't get a chance to review the final charges. When the emailed receipt came, it had an extra $5 fee for "safe trip". I didn't ask for or want this. I had declined the optional insurance offered for damage, so not sure why this was added to my bill as some supplemental insurance. Upon looking into what that is, it's for roadside help for getting locked out or running out if gas. Might make sense if I rented a truck, but makes no sense for renting a trailer. Feels like a way to sneak in a fee for something I never agreed to buy. Never had this issue renting trailers from other Uhaul locations.

Kayla COverall, the truck was great to use. However, the experience with Uhaul was less than impressive. We had originally booked our reservation to pickup in Winona, MN (which is only 15 minutes from our house), then 2 days before our pickup date, we were notified that we had to drive to Rochester, MN to get a truck (which is 45 minutes from our house). Normally I wouldn’t mind, but when we drove through Winona, there were NUMEROUS trucks sitting in the lot and I can’t imagine all were going to taken on the same day we needed one. Inconvenient. Then, on our drop off date, we had to sit on hold on the phone for about an hour in the drop off location parking lot because the Uhaul website/app was not working so we could not complete the return. I understand technology issues happen, but at the end of a long moving process sitting in a parking lot on hold was the icing on the quick. When we need a truck again in a few months, we’ll be hesitant to use Uhaul again.

Kenneth KPick up location only open from 12:00 - 5:00, you have to pick up in a narrow timeframe the day before if you need a Uhaul in the morning.

Lora EI wouldn't recommend U-Haul at all!!! Ever again! I have used them for years and when I moved last month I was charged for It. Then yesterday I was charged again!!! I'm curious and this isn't over!!!
Renee PI did not get the trailer size I ordered and had to haul a larger trailer to Montana over 2 thousand miles. I received the same price as the one ordered. Also the running lights on the trailer did not work. The larger trailer cost us at least $100 dollars in fuel cost bucking a 30 mph wind coming across ND on the way home.
Greg WWhen we made the reservation online - we asked for a selection that was 10-15 miles from our home (which was an option available). No one ever contacted us. When we contacted someone 48 hours before we were supposed to pick up the vehicle - we were told pick up was in Blue Earth MN which is an over 2 hour drive.. which was ridiculous. An attempt was made for something closer which ended up being in River Falls, WI - a 40+ minute drive. We have had bad experiences in the past with UHaul and making reservations online - this was strike 3. Not a happy customer.

Maxim KPer the above comments Uhaul is out of touch regarding the time it takes to move. Pool and Spa has very limited hours. They open late, close early. Limited days. ACE Hardware would be better service point in River Falls. Your service points in Hudson WI also have limited hours. As well as David’s of Ellsworth.

Melissa MFor the Return truck portion, Mobile app would not work despite following the instructions for updating my settings, using the free location WiFi. You trust the customer when they say what location they are dropping off as as you can verify quickly

Barrett HThe location itself and the workers were fine, but the Uhaul was not and it was evident they do not put the effort into the trucks themselves. The truck cab was filthy, it was clear it had not been cleaned whatsoever - given Covid this is not only unsanitary but a health hazard - there was visible animal hair ALL OVER the truck, a used water bottle behind the seat was easily seen, dirt and all else covering the surfaces to the extent that 0 surface I wiped came up clean at first go. I have reached out to Uhaul customer service twice and heard nothing about how this issue will be resolved, so we’ll use another service for our future moves.
