When I picked up the truck it had less than an 1/8th of a tank of gas. The dashboard indicated that the truck had approx. 27km. Before empty. I had to drive almost that to get back to where i was loading the truck. Your trucks should be full when picked up and full when returned. This is how it is done at all other car and truck rental outlets.

The issue I had was the tank was not full even though I was told it was. The needle was below the F and when I filled the truck up and returned it the needle was well above the F. It seemed like 20 or $30 in gas was missing when I picked it up

Super nice staff Truck was missing a gas cap Uhaul website messed me up- I ended up paying an extra 100$ for mileage because I ordered a truck online on the uhaul website to a location (olds ab) that no longer exists. I had to drive 45 extra minutes to pick up the truck and an extra 45 mins to drop it off.

I had issues returning the rental with the u-haul customer service and the one girl was rude and hung up on me! The ladies at Springbrook were amazing as they phoned back to customer service on my behalf regarding my drop off location which was noted on my sheet but customer service said they were going to charge me for wrong drop off location which I had changed the day prior to pick-up and confirmed with the girl upon pick-up!!

Trailer was frozen in a foot of snow, we had to dig it out ourselves, all this after original rental from Cooper roofing in Red Deer was refused for defective safety equipment, the receptionist at Cooper stated we were entitled to a discount for the inconvenience, so I would like to know how much?

The service was great, but we had booked for a move in the city and reserved from a local supplier. When we were confirming the day prior we found out the location for pick up was Springbrook which is approx. 15 km one way and we paid the extra mileage just to pick up and return.

If it wasn't for the people I would rate this terribly. I booked online based on the store hours and availability. Only to get a phone call the day before saying that the online info isn't right and the nearest location open and available trailer was another 20 minutes south, outside the city. There was no information when I booked my reservation about the type of pin I would need for my lights so when I arrived we found out I needed an adapter. They had no ability to rent an adapter and the best they could do was tell me to drive back into the city to buy one from can tire or peavy Mart neither of which they could guarantee would have it. Then their system was down and we had to do everything Verbally which was weird. Then I got a call the day after I picked up (on a 4 day rental) asking me to bring the trailer back early to my drop off with no offer of compensation for my shortened rental. My pick up experience caused almost 2 hours in delay of my trip to start and then you had the Gaul to ask me to drop off early??? Not cool uhaul. The only reason I'm even passably happy is that the people at the pick up end were as helpful as they could be. The food in the diner is good too. It's a dicey hole in the wall but in the best possible way. The road to get in/out is awful though and neither my aunt, mine or my husband's GPS/maps/google maps gave accurate directions either. The road and directions are the only reason I do not recommend this place. Uhaul overall I would not recommend after this experience.
