I went to the office about 2 days after the online reservation and was told they didn't have a reservation scheduled on their computer yet. I don't know how long it takes uhaul online to forward the reservations but I feel I as a customer shouldn't have to be following up at the office. The office personnel was great, easy to work with, and accommodating to my needs. I don't rate excellent just because the online hiccup.Jose R.

Pros: The truck has a lot of power, the suspension is great, it makes a smoth ride, the rear view camera in the mirror is awesome and super useful !!!. The side rear view mirrors are perfect size and type. The cargo area is well serviced and equiped with side rail to tie and fix the merchandise. Cons: The outside of the truck was dirty, specifically the windshield, side mirrors and windows. The inside was stinky. We had to spray Lysol many times with the a/c on to minimize the odor. The chart to estimate the amount of gasoline to put before turning the truck in was wrong. Due to that guide we ended up exceding the amount of gas by 1/4 of a tank.Teresa C.

The service I received on the telephone from U-Haul Customer Service was absolutely atrocious. The number for your Calexico, CA dealer is wrong and when I tried to get help contacting that location about my pending rental the person I got on the phone at your 800 number was very rude and would not help me. I was picking up my trailer the next day and when I called Calexico the phone would ring and ring with no answer. The person at 800 I talked with basically said there was nothing she could do. When I asked to talk to her supervisor she said "her supervisor could not do anything more than she could do" when I insisted I talk with her supervisor she hung up on me. I again dialed the 800 number hoping to get someone else who would help me and gave up after waiting over 8 minutes for someone to come on the line. I then proceeded to search other U-Haul stations in the area and finally got the number myself...something she could have done but refused to do.I learned the wrong number is posted by U-Haul for that location and the agent said he had had the same number for over 15 years. This was a very upsetting experience for me as we were about to drive nearly 300 miles to pick-up a trailer and not able to confirm whether or not one would be available when we arrived.Lucky M.

The original pick up location was in El Centro. The El Centro location rented out the trailer that I was scheduled to use. This caused me to go to Staxup in Calexico. I was very disappointed in the El Centro location. Due to traffic I was late getting to El Centro. I was contacted by U haul to verify I still planned on using the trailer. I said yes I'm 30 minutes away. They said ok. Had to wate 20 minutes. Three people in line only one person on the counter. The issue was taken care of and credit was given but it delayed me 1 1/2 hours The reason I did a one way rental was to save drive time. Would have been faster for me tow a trailer round trip.glenn B.

I was sent an email to pick up at El Centro CA and at pick up time I was told they didn't have my rental. They said they sent a text message but I never received. The guy was rude and made me drive to Calexico to pick up the rental. The lady at uhaul in calexico was nice . I reserved my rental via phone and we both had different information about mileage. I had to pay for an extra day to get the mileage from the quote I received via phone.edna R.

Maybe if this store location should have a after hour contact number or a person to able call a customer if he/she get into a problem. I had a very bad experience at this store location, I had entered the gated area where the rentals returned unfortunately I was locked in with no one to open the electric door l waited for an hour until someone opened with there access code. My experience with using the online reservation app was miserable. I made a reservation for a 15 foot truck in el Centro and awoke to a text saying my reservation had changed to lakeside. That location is about 60 miles away from me so I had to call and arrange another truck in Calexico. They didn't have a 15 foot truck so I had to settle for a 10 foot, which in turn made me have to borrow another vehicle causing further complications. I also waited an hour after my reserved time at Stax up portico in calexico, causing even more of a delay in my trip. This was by far the worst experience I've had customer service wise, and feel your staff has a right to know.Florentino O.

We scheduled a truck in advance checked numerous times. When we checked in 24 hours in advance they stated some one would contact us by 6 pm when they did they said there wasn't any trucks available but would help arrange a different truck and trailer. But they didn't have any in our town or even close but we could go to a different town in a different state which we had to get a rental car to do this. They offered a discount but it still cost more in the long run. Very unhappy with the service won't recommend to any one. We had a confirmed reservation. To me that means what I reserved is what I would be getting. Steve at the Colorado spgs facicility did not explain that it did not work that way. None of the paperwork we were giving stated anything different that what we had reserved. Only one person was helpful and that was the gentlemen at the ick up location he did his best to help us. Yuma facility did not even have the moving blankets we reservedtom P.

We called to get a pick up truck and car carrier and had to drive 140 miles out of are way and no one even tried to help or find something closer untill we threatened to call corporate, we ended up with a box truck and a car carrier that had a broken light and one of its mud guards almost falling offMatthew N.
