Person at location (Standing by for manager) had zero access to U-Haul server and not able to process our order (he did make some calls but to no effect, so we had to use the online check-in app which was glitchy to say the least. It took several attempts to get through process before we finally were able to get the keys from the lock box. We then found that the truck battery was completely dead, not even dash lights. I then took part of my group to U-Haul Moving and Storage Murrieta for our other truck. Mike the manager called the regional manager about the problem at StaxUP (he was in Fallbrook, so Mike sent one of his people with a truck to jump start the dead truck at StaxUP) Once we got the truck started , I never could complete the standard process due to not being allowed to take a photo of the gas gauge and odometer. The truck had been sitting for days, the windows were dirty and there was still an old water bottle inside that had not been thrown out. On checking the cargo area, there was no hand truck nor packing blanket. Not a problem for our needs, just don't want to incur a missing equipment charge! Truck condition: the brakes squeal so must be at the low pads warning. The steering was loose/wandered compared to many of the other trucks I have used in the past few months. Highly disappointed in this experience. The time delay in getting the truck caused issues with the crew waiting to load our theatrical equipment and set. Fortunately the 8 volunteers were still able to load both trucks within the deadline time.

Ordered a 15 foot truck 10 days ahead of my move and was called two days before my move that they only had 10 foot trucks available. Unless I wanted to drive another hour out of the way to pick up a 15 foot truck myself. I had to go with the 10 foot truck and it made my move a very poor experience. On top of that. The gal who called me telling me there was no larger trucks available was very sassy and condescending during the call and not empathetic of my situation. Very poor experience with uhaul

The dolly I rented Saturday was due back by 4:45 that same day. I arrived at 4 and no one was there. I went back the next morning and again no one was there. I tried again in the afternoon and no one was there. I go again Monday morning and no one was there. I called several times and spoke with Ashley (I think that was her name) she was very nice and very helpful. On my third attempt to return in Monday she walked me through being able to leave it in an empty storage unit. She worked at a different location but was very helpful over the phone. This location needs to be staffed during the operating hours they lost so the customers are not inconvenienced.

Write down the correct gas balance as it shows in the odometer last time that I rented the UHAUL truck on 7/23/2022 in the paper was showing 1/4 full but in reality it was 1/8 full. And I have to put some extra gas to make it at it was showing on the paper at the time of picking up the Truck, Thanks

The drop-off experience was not good. There was no one in the front desk. I had to walk around the facility to find the employee. He was was working hard, cleaning one of their storage units. They need to hire more employees or find a solution to enable costumers to contact front desk. Not a good experience.

More thorough directions to unlock for keys. Note on door for this remote liston stated a lock box on the back of truck but it was not. It was on a gate. There were moving blankets inside truck that I didn't order and hope I wasn't charged for them. One final thing, I was originally sent to a uhaul in Hemet CA. When I arrived the truck I had reserved was not there due to a customer not bringing it back. I received no phone call, text message or email saying it would be late. I lived in Murrieta CA. and had to drive out to Hemet to find the right size truck. Then the guy behind the counter made a few phone calls to anyone who had the size truck I needed. Luckily he found one. So I had to drive back to Murrieta to get the truck.

Just left the truck in the front. There isn't a lot of parking and it's pretty tight for a 26' foot truck. I did self checkin and the u-haul app walked me through the checkin process. I was called again by u-haul to change the drop off location.

Dropped the keys off in the mail box

When I picked up the vehicle on Friday June 18 at 1045 she told me no one would be there during normal hours through 5 pm when I returned the vehicle. I had it back at 445 pm on Friday June 18 during normal hours. I closed up the vehicle and put the keys through the drop box as she told me to do. I tried to do the on line close out of the bill, but it would not let me upload the picture of the odometer and fuel reading. It said it wanted a more recent picture. I had already locked the vehicle. So then I called UHAUL and waited 20 minutes for someone to answer. I told that person that I returned the vehicle during normal hours and I told her the odometer reading. I want the after hour service charge of $20 to be removed because I returned the vehicle in time, and you did not have anyone at the UHAUL facility to check me out. I also think you should not have a time limit on a picture of the odometer. If someone says they returned it and this is the reading then you need to accept it in order to complete the process. We arrived at exactly 5:02pm to return vehicle. Everyone was already gone and was charged 20.00 extra for after hours drop off. That is completely absurd. We used this location two years ago when we relocated to Murrieta had a great experience. Returned vehicle with extra because we fueled up prior to move and in the end was very upset with the extra charges.

This location doesn't have a lot of parking, so it isn't clear where to park when there isn't space especially when the office isn't open. I called customer service and the agent, Linsie Snyder, was really helpful and was able to help me find a spot to park the U-Haul. It would be nice to have some instruction on where to park the U-Haul when the location's parking lot is full.

The truck had bad windshield wipers and we were told we'd need to take it to a fleet garage in the neighboring city to have them replaced. We didn't have time for that nor did we want to pay for the extra mileage. Also the truck's air conditioning did not work properly - sadly we were moving on days that had temps in the 110s!

We were not aware when renting this truck that it was not equipped with a pull out ramp. This was exceedingly disappointing as quite a few of our items required a ramp. Things like a washer/dryer and a BBQ. It would probably be prudent to let someone know up front that its not equipped with one. I think this my 9th or 10th Uhaul I've rented and I've never had one that didn't have a ramp.

I made a 9am reservation to pickup the rental truck and arrived at 9:05 to find no one in the office. I had to wait 45 mins for someone return to office to help with rental. Then there was a problem with the information, so that took much longer than expected. I've rented numerous times without any problems. I returned the truck later in the day, again no one there to assist with the return. Never renting there again.....terrible experience at that location. Really thinking about purchasing my own truck so I don't have to deal with the bullshit of waiting for someone who didn't even acknowledge that I had a 9am reservation. Horrible way to do business and very disrespectful to the customer..... never again!!!!

Ms. Monica provided excellent service! The windshield On the pickup was very dirty. The truck is leaking an oily fluid as evidenced by the small puddles it left on the driveway in the two places it was parked.

Our truck rental was given to us without being cleaned. Employee apologized but that is not acceptable, especially during this COVID pandemic where everyone is expected to take extra precautions and businesses are expected to properly clean and disinfect.

There were people there before us who were still using the truck and it took over an hour for us waiting before we even got the truck. We asked the lady at the reception if she could give us a discount because we waited so long she said she would have to call uhaul give us a call back but she never called us and we never received a discount for our wasted time.
