Originally we were booked to pick up UHaul truck from 3022 Rte 940, Pocono Summit, PA 18346. Arrived to find no one there and a dumpy site. Thank goodness, Steeles Hardware people came to our rescue and we were able to rent the truck there, even though they had to work extra hard at the end of their day to accommodate us! They were wonderful!

SHELLEY TI Reserved the truck for 5 PM. When I arrived I was told that the truck was overbooked and it would not arrive until 7 o'clock. The clerk said he would give me a call when the truck comes in. I asked him why that happened he said I didnt know and Gave me a unsympathetic " sorry". There was nothing sincere about that apology. I lived 30 minutes away from this location And it was an inconvenience to come back. My packing was delayed because of it.

SHAWN KDid not have sufficient dollys for moving. Did not have sufficient blankets for moving. I had reserved 2 dolly’s and 3 dozen blankets. Store had one dolly. Additionally they quoted 1.89 per mile even though the reservation said 0.89 per mile. For the last I was able to correct them on site. For the missing items I had to complete the move and had multiple dings/scratches on furniture due to not being able to cover things properly (with padded blankets) during the move.
Jennifer MI was told that there is No U Haul representative in the store and in case of any questions customer MUST call U Haul directly. It seems to be unusual. No hard copy of the bill. Only sent to email address. That's not convenient. Other than that the service is good and dependable. Thank you!

William RYou allowed me to mobile reserve dor a 730 time. When I arrived, there was no way to get the truck by means of mobile. So i had to go home and come back when the store opened. Other than that it was an ok experience.

kamish MThe vehicle had a broken bumper part,it was dirty ,the ac didn't work .And it seems to need some repairs other then that.I did go right back to the location where I leased it to point out some issues ,especially the mirrors they would bounce back.every time we tried to adjust them so we could see Aweful experience and the young kids who worked there were nice but had no idea on how to help and just told me to call u haul customer service. We didn't have time for that after being on hold for a while with u haul because we needed to get to our location of moving stuff.I am very disappointed and would have expected at least a partial refund .I had to pull over a few times due to the vehicle really not being safe in my opinion. Also the armrest on drivers seat is broken and.since the ac didn't work it was aweful hot in there on the trip.I would call this experience " one of the worst "

Shikera CReturned the truck before location opened in front of surveillance cameras. Store personnel at drop off location logged the truck in 2 hours after my return time. Which by the way was way after the store opened. I did the mobile return so my return time was logged in with Uhaul but a glitch via mobile wouldn’t allow the whole process to be completed. This location caused me to be charged for an additional day on my credit card. I called Uhaul and disputed the charge. Uhaul refunded due to the fact the mobile return app had me logged in way before my contract return time and showed via tracking device that the truck was returned 5 hours prior to the location claiming that I returned it.
