I used the 24/7 pickup method to get the truck very early in the AM. I was pleased that the blankets I had requested were in the truck, and the process went smoothly. On drop off, I put the keys in the lock box before clicking the link, and was unable to take the photos required, since the truck was locked. Some kind of alert not to turn in key until after check in would be useful.David D.

I tried using after hours drop off app night before rental was due back. The app wouldn't recognize my location regardless of what I did, so couldn't leave truck.The drop off location opened at 8am the next morning according to website so brought truck back around 9am. They needed truck apparently by 6am so I was charged an additional 87 dollars. That was the only negative from my experienceDan L.

I had trouble logging into the website to accept the truck and the person working there was incredibly rude - told me that he had spent over an hour inputting everything and now he had to cancel my reservation and start over. Isn't that his job? Really not a good recommendation for UHaul.Theresa S.

What exactly a renter is paying for should be much more clear. To this day I still have no idea what the base price is for (regarding time). You are required to choose how much time you need but the correlation with pricing isn't explained at all. Also, there is no lighting on the pathway leading to the rental place. Dropping off the van at night after moving all day would be terrifying both for me and a taxi I call to pick me up.Gary K.

Check out of the truck was fine. Return process was very bad. The return app did not work. I was sent 2 final invoices. One was correct for mileage used and the total was $256.98. However my credit card was charged $274.23. I am expecting a refund to the correct amount.Thomas M.

The truck you rented me was awful. I could not even use it to drive to Boston, I had to pick up items and then unload them because the truck barely runs. The steering is very loose, the truck makes a whistling noise, as soon as weight was in the truck it could barely maintain 55 MPH and there is bad noise coming from the transmission. This truck should NOT be out on the road. It is not safe. I am very dissatisfied with this rental. Thank You Joe-Joe D.

I rented a truck from 1pm-8pm last Friday - upon returning the vehicle, I was charged $20 extra for an "overnight service" which I have no idea what it is or that it was coming. I handed the truck back in the evening thinking it would help UHaul for the next customer. If I'd known I was going to be charged this ridiculous fee, I would have brought the vehicle back the next day, as I was perfectly entitled to do. This is accounting shenanigans and you should keep this in check with your representatives. I sent a note but have had nothing back yet. I expect to be reimbursed. In addition, your app didn't work when I handed the vehicle back.Jamie R.

I scheduled a 6am truckshare pickup. Upon arrival no one was there so i called Uhaul and was informed my reservation was changed to 730 when the location opened. No one called to let me know. I was going to be driving over 150 miles each way and could have been well over halfway to my destination by the time i got the truck. I spoke to a regional manager and another supervisor but all that could be done is a 50$credit. Uhaul let me down 3 times with this rental: not informing me of the change, not providing alternate arrangements ahead of time, and little to no help regarding my concerns. I will not be using Uhaul anymore.Joshua C.
I was charged more than double the price I was quoted by phone. I spoke with an agent there explaining exactly what my travle plans were. The rental was for $119. In the end I was billed $289. TOTAL robbery. There were more than 6 add-on fees and they charged a $90 "return after hours" fee. NONE of this was explained when the van was rented. I WOULD NEVER go there again.Gideon F.

The truck that was rented had over 130,000 miles on it. I'm well versed in the mechanical field And can tell you the steering needs aligned, tie rods are not up to standard, Engine has an exhaust leak along with misfiring cylinders. Additionally, when i picked up the truck at night it was hard to see everything to give an accurate description of damages and all. (Had to bring a flashlight) Also, i spoke to 3 customer service reps. Each person gave me a DIFFERENT answer to my question. Please get it together and lets try and all be on the same page. Who ever Service rep Coco is she was awesome and helped me out the most kudos to her! Thanks!Johnathan S.
