For starters I had my 15’ reserved since March 1. On March 21 I receive a phone that says they don’t have a truck for me and that no one nearby has one. However there is one 30 minutes out of my way. I said fine because I need my truck. I call the place I’m supposed to pick it up and they said they are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. So I call the traffic line and ask about it and she was probably the nicest person I talked to. Pointed me to another place ANOTHER 30 minutes away. I show up 8am when they open NOONE IS THERE. I call the office, they won’t be there yet. It’s not until 8:30 am that I finally get my truck and it’s filthy. Trash in the back, on the drivers seat all that jazz. Unfortunately I couldn’t take pictures because the guy said I had to check in first before I could receive my truck. So where it asks me is it clean and all that I couldn’t answer until I got the truck but I couldn’t get the truck until I answered them. Then I couldn’t return the truck where I originally asked or change it which sucks but I’m not mad about that as much because you plan on a truck being at a certain location at a certain time

This rating is for the original drop off location at Express Furniture, where the very upset employee told us he is no longer dealing with U-Haul. We had to change drop off locations to a Stop and Go nearby that was ok.this is the second time I have had to deal some kind of issue from an authorized U-Haul dealer. Really wish U-Haul had a larger central place in Hampton VA instead of using these satellite locations. I seem to have a much better experience dealing with the actual U-Haul locations.
PATRICK CDirty. Had to do transaction over phone. Trailer chain incorrectly attached, told me there was a$60 refundable deposit, that was the insurance I did want. Ordered blankets but decidedly never mind after all of that

Brian KDo as much as possible online prior to going to site. I had a hard time getting the rental agreement finalized and it even required a U-Haul representative to contact me after my rental to close out my rental agreement.
Rodney JMake sure the sugar plies if requested are in the truck. I order a pack of furniture and they were not in the truck. I didn’t notice until we went to load the truck. The store was small and there was no room for me to stand due to incoming customers for the gas station. It also took forever to get the truck
Michelle dGot to the address and there is a stop and go at this address. Problem is that are not a drop off location for anything. Asked the Indian inside about the drop off and he said (I assume since he did not speak English) that he would not allow me to drop it there. Upon returning to my hotel ,with your trailer in tow I stumbled upon a uhaul cemter a few blocks away on the same street. Pulled in drop trailer. End of story. I hope you found it.
