System was working very slow so it took awhile to complete process. Because it was a convenience store the line was long and I felt awkward holding everybody up. The clerk was very good and worked hard to get the process completed.

They gave me a random one way contract to a location I was not going. In addition, they lied to my face and told me that the amount I was paying was a “deposit” when in fact it was just a straight charge. I called to get a refund and Uhual shifted the blame away from themselves and told me the final decision for a refund comes from the place that issued the truck aka the gas station. So basically how this company works is that they under educate the neighborhood dealers and outsource responsibility when there lack of over-site falls through.

The location was unaware that the tank was not full, as I took pictures of everything I notified the attendant that the gas tank was a quarter under full, and I was told I needed to fill it up entirely. I have photos of everything. When I went to pick up what I was supposed to rent, a 17 foot truck, they only had a 15 when hauls website clearly stated it was available at that location.

I don’t care for the mobile check-in process or checkout process. I went to the entire process and then had to go inside to get a key and the guy had to call to find out how to give me the key. I just did not find it was any faster than using the manual process. And turning it in and then finding out I had to take all these pictures after I had already parked the truck was kind of a pain because I had backed it in

I rented a uhaul over the weekend. I originally ordered it from my usual location. I received a call back a day later letting me know I had to pick it up from another location 1.5 miles away from this location. It was a good truck. Upon returning the truck I passed my normal location. I stopped to see if it would be ok to drop off there. The gentleman met me outside and told me it would not be a problem. I could return the vehicle there and he would get me all checked in. I received my bill today and there were $350 in additional charges so I called customer service to speak to someone about this. The first person I spoke with just wanted to argue with me and not here what I was trying to say. I asked to speak to her supervisor, Lydia. Same treatment. All she wanted to do was argue and justify why I was being charged. The other location was 1.5 miles away. If I was told when I dropped off the truck I was going to be charged an extra $350 why would I not drive the 1.5 miles. I am an executive in retail with 20,000 employees. I will make sure non of them ever use Uhaul again. This is not a customer centric company. All they want to do is argue.
