PLEASE stop giving customers trucks that are 1/4 tank of gas. We have to then go to the gas station before we even start the packing process and it’s very hard to judge how much fuel we need. SERIOUSLY the worst way to start the moving process. And the additional $30 gas fee yall just started is stupid! It’s beginning to feel like your nickel and timing your customers from the start to the end and no one likes that feeling. This all said, I use uhaul 6-12 times a year so I am speaking from experience.

Cornelut RThe numbers on all the trucks were covered with thick snow and ice. Had I not had an ice scraper, I wouldn't even had been able to see or guess which one was ours. After we finally found the truck we were renting, we had to get the key out of the lock box. It was also frozen! After 45 mins of cleaning the truck, waiting for it to warm we were finally on our way. I understand that it is winter and was also a Sunday, but those trucks probably are not cleared or scraped off any day, unless the renter does it. It was a ridiculous price for using 15/10ths of the gas and almost had an hour wait, and the fact you basically have to give blood through the phone to rent it, just sucked! Get real people and clean your trucks in bad weather daily.

Jill CYou can keep your on line pricing consistent or at least say how the price changes as the pick up date draws closer. I initially looked up the cost of the trailer rental and was shown a price of around $350. This was two weeks before I rented the trailer. I then booked it 3 days before the actual pick up date and it was now $420. That’s $70 difference for the same trailer. If I had known the price would change so much I would have ordered the trailer at the $350 price. How the price changes with time should be clearly stated. On a disappointed scale of 1-10 I rate this pricing approach an 11. Outside of that the trailer was fantastic and the people we interacted with were first class.
JOHN CI was not able to actually leave the lot with the truck until almost 3pm the day I picked it up. I returned the vehicle before 3pm the day I brought it back but they charged me an additional day if rental and insurance anyway because I had the truck way longer than I was supposed to. I had a ton of unexpected obstacles that I had to deal with in between and being charged for the additional day on top of it plus the insurance just added insult to injury. Uhaul made a ton of money off me and I have next to no money in the first place. I called headquarters and they said someone would call me within 48hrs, that never happened. Charging people for services not rendered is wrong. Your truck was on your lot within the time required per when I picked up the truck. I will be notifying my bank to dispute the charges for the day I didn't have but you charged me for anyway.

Ryan RYour Oxford Team was exceptional, they were genuinely friendly and smiling. It was honestly the most pleasant experience in truck rentals. Penske dropped the ball on my last reservation so bad that I had to redo all paperwork and force my way into a rental on a Sunday after they were attempting to deny me a rental after having a reservation and then put me in a truck at ninety cents per mile after reserving me at 39 cents on a corporate rate. Thank you Uhaul and Oxford for making my experience a good one. I will definitely recommend you and as a small business owner of Oxford, all of my future rentals will be through this location.

But was charged a whole new day. So I kept it for the extra day. Where as if they would have worked with me, I would have had the truck back no problem same day.

julie aI filled the truck at 3/4 tank as agreed. The needle was literally within the 3/4 mark. I then received a phone call from the weaselly looking dude who looks like the less attractive little brother of Odo from deep space nine at the Oxford uhaul location telling me that the tank was 1/16 off... I made an honest attempt and went to two gas stations to make sure the truck had the appropriate amount of gas. I was then told I'd be charged more money! You greedy no good customer hating bastards! To bust my balls about 1/16 when the needle was clearly at 3/4 did two things- 1) it pissed me off that I had to turn around to drive back wasting my time and 2) it guaranteed that I will never rent from uhaul again at this location or any other uhaul location. Moreover, I will do everything in my power to make sure no one in my family, coworkers or friends rent from the Oxford location. I hope the extra money you bastards charged me was worth it.

Gerry BI used your website for movers. The movers did now show. I called UHaul and kept being redirected to call other phone numbers. I was in contact with the movers department from UHaul and was told the movers that I selected off your website had been inactive for months. I was having movers move furniture I was selling. I loss hundreds of dollars because your website isn’t update on a regular basis. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone talking to UHaul and getting the runaround. I think this whole process was completely unorganized and definitely will not use your service again as well as the people that showed up to get their furniture. Huge waste of many people’s time.
