The website was misleading, I needed to rent a truck for 24 hours to move, Online quote told me $54 so I made the reservation. Get to the store and it was $166.00! Sticker shock! I was backed in a corner and had no other choice so I had to pay it, but really feel like it was bait and switch. However, the sales lady at the counter was super nice and friendly. First the size truck I reserved was not available then 1 hour before my pick up time I was informed that there was no appliance dolly available. This had been reserved days in advance and was a key piece of equipment for the move. Very disappointed in the overall experienceValentino R.

I will never rent from Uhaul again. The online process seemed easy and efficient. The actual execution was not. I initially felt I was paying a premium just to rent a truck, dolly and blankets from 8am-5pm. But, I figured the price would mean everything would meet a standard of excellence. I was wrong. I was made to go to 2 different locations on moving day because the location I ordered the truck from didn't have the blankets I ordered. I ordered the truck from there because they opened at 8am. The blanket location opened an hour later. When I arrived at the 2nd location, they had refunded my previous blanket order and it took 30 MINUTES to figure out how to charge me again. I actually left the girl while she figured out how to get me the blankets, and went to run another errand, and had to wait even more when I returned. Uhaul is also very very concerned about getting every nickel from their customers. I later recieved a bill for $4 because we went over mileage! The changes, multiple emails and phone calls during the day of my move really added a lot of stress to an already stressful day. I will be sure to use another company next time I need to rent a truck.Thomas E.

Truck wasn't ready to leave when I arrived. I ended up having to go into office to find out truck was somewhere in the back of the storage area. Once I got there and confirmed the number it said I needed the keys from a pickup box at office so I had to walk all the way back with all my bags and found out there wasn't a box the front desk clerk had to view my is and then found the keys for truck assigned to me so it really isn't contactless checkout as they don't follow the online procedures. It took 40 minutes to go back and forth before I could get on my way. They didn't seem organized to have pickup reservations up front and ready to go. So maybe they could work out a better contactless procedure at that location. Truck was great though and drop off return was super easyKathleen Megan M.

They messed up the whole order by giving us a smaller truck than what we had needed and reserved, No furniture dolly like we had ordered, the biggest thing was it was reserved for 6 am November 7 ( today) and they had is down for hand pick up meaning we had to wait until they opened at 9 when we had reservation for mobile order at 6 an. Was supposed to be remote pick up when I got there was no lock box and office was closed. I went through the online process was approved while waiting on an attendant to show up to give me the keys. After being approved and having to wait the attendant did not want to give me the keys telling me the reservation was not for me . I showed her the approval that clearly had me listed as an approved driver she still argues that it was not my reservation she called uhaul they confirmed that I was approved and to give me the keys she argued with them for 10 mins and finally handed over the keys with a snide remark hope your day gets better . I called to verify cost and payment process twice and was told the same thing twice. About making final transaction in cash so it would apply to my credit card. Then onsite the ride black man told me this would not work like that. I know it's possible because I have rented at this location in the past. I ordered the 20' truck in advance from the Crowley store. I was informed Friday I had to drive to Burleson for the truck. More gas !!! Everything at the store I picked the truck up went very well. My only complaint is the online process of renting a U-haul. It is not a very user friendly website, sometimes finding what I needed to click on next to go to the next page was difficult. If I missed something I needed to enter it would delete everything on that page making me start over. The page where you offer movers to help was very difficult to find the link at top (which was very small) to skip and go to the next page.Daniel A.

So I needed a cargo van and the one at the location was not the one advertised on the website. Because the dimensions didn't match up so I was forced to rent a box truck and pay more money for that I needed to do. I've rented the newer style cargo van before and it was perfect for what I needed to move.Anthony H.

Horrible experience. The woman at the desk had problems inputting information and tried repeatedly do the same thing before finally calling someone. We told them we would need it for two days. A hold was put on my account. I was told I would get receipts in my email. I never did. All I received was two png files. Before returning I got a call telling me I drove 300 miles. I hadn't even turned the truck in yet! When I did turn it in the woman at the desk said I drove 180 miles. I did not. Later that day she said it was 176 miles. Again this is not the mileage. We filled it up with gas to the mark it was on upon pick up. We are being charged for gas. These women at the Burleson Storage Depot are incompetent and obviously ripping us off. I called the customer service number after another amount hit my bank. She said I would get the first amount back. She emailed me the receipts the store never sent. We did not drive that many miles and I have no receipts from the pick up day, not in person or by email. After looking at the receipt I called back and this woman was rude and condescending. She said I don't understand technology. That doesn't even make sense. This was a horrible experience and I will NEVER go there again. There is supposed to be an investigation going on but after speaking with 3 people who have different ideas of charges I have little faith. Oh I was also told when I had to convince them I didn't drive 300 miles and still had the truck that I would only be charged an extra day of rental, not the safe move protection. I was told that wasn't charged daily. These women don't provide paperwork and probably did not read the mileage from the last man who dropped it off. They may not have even been looking at the right truck considering all the other things they were wrong about.amanda S.
