I tried 3 times to use the app to return the truck on Sunday, when the office was closed, and the app kept restarting, even after removing the app and reinstalling. So, I returned the key in the night drop, and the next day they checked in the truck but charged me for gas. I got the truck on 1/2 tank and returned in on 5/8 tank, which is more gas than I started with. I have picture proof from the many app attempts that the gas was well above 1/2 tank but I was charged for 3 gallons of gas. Whoever checked in my returned truck is very dishonest.CASEY K.

The woman at the counter was extremely rude. Did not greet me when I came in and had no personality at all. You can tell she hates her job. When returning the truck and struggling with the mobile app and taking pictures in the rain, I was instructed to drop the keys in the drop box and she refused to accept them. Provide short term rentals.. Like half day, or hourly rates..for two,three or five hours.. Would be great from small in town jobs.. Really wanted a truck for a simple two hour job three miles from the rental location. Had to pay for a full day but returned the unit in less than 2.5 hours...Joe B.

I was told to clean the truck after use, or be charged $25. The gas was almost where I took it from. I was told I had to add gas or be charged $6 per gal for not adding more gas. I have used Uhaul several times before but this horrible experience has made me rethink my truck rentals for the future. I do not need to go through rude uhaul employees.davie K.

The staff member at the facility (sorry, I don't remember her name) was friendly and professional. The office internet service was down, so she called Uhaul directly. Unfortunately, she was told to call her field supervisor. Everything worked out, but I was surprised that Uhaul wouldn't help her sign us in over the phone.JOHN S.
We (my husband and I) reserved a truck to be picked up at 8:00 a.m. (One hour before Storage King USA opened on Saturday.) We followed the steps in the 24/7 app and even entered the driver's license info manually when the app would not accept the driver's license pictures. We were still unable to get the code to get the key out of the truck. I tried the online chat and waited several minutes with no reply. We then called customer service. After waiting on hold for 10 â€“ 15 minutes, we spoke with a customer service rep, Nancy, who was very helpful. Finally, after almost an hour, we were able to get into the truck. The truck was clean, and we had no issues checking back in (with a person) at the facility. We would gladly rent again from Storage King USA, but we will rent the truck when the facility is open. We will NOT use that 24/7 app again.John S.

Inspect the trucks before and after someone takes it! The loading dock had glass all over it broken shards of glass ! Not only did I have to clean up the broken glass but my 3 year old daughter was cut, so when I called she apologized and said they don't ever really check the dock ! How wonderful, when I went to pick up the truck she didn't even get up to inspect it before I took it just tossed me the key and called it a dayElizabeth S.

Horrible! Donna and her co-hort (didn't get her name but she's Caucasian with shoulder length brown hair) are the rudest and unfriendliest Uhaul workers I've encountered. My young daughter and I walked in and not even a Hello, just a stupid blank stare from them. Never any eye contact after that. No smile, no nothing, not even small talk.During truck inspection I noticed a large dent on the top corner. When I brought it to the rude hags attention, she had the nerves to ask me angrily ''how am I supposed to get up there?'' She then walked angrily away without saying ''I'll be back'' or anything to tell me what happens next! She came back with a ladder and marked it, again with an attitude. After my inspection, I told her I was done and she gave me paperwork without a ''thank you''. While filling up for gas, I read a note on my contract. the brown haired hag had placed a note in paperwork that read ''corner cap is torn. Customer accepts risk of water damage'', SHE NEVER MENTIONED THIS TO ME! I spent over $700 and I get unnecessary rudeness and lies! STEER FAR AWAY FROM THESE NASTY HAGS!Adolfo M.

The representative that helped me was amazing. I wasn't sure on what exactly I wanted and she gave me options according to the information I g ave her even provided me with tips on how to pack my things to get the most out of the U-Haul and avoid extra trips! My reservation was transferred to this location due to a parade. I was in a difficult position and your team worked with me to maintain my truck size and drop off was really fast and conveneient. The lady on first street location did get snippy bc she couldn't accommodate me bc of the parade. But in the end it all worked out.anthony V.

Possibly reconsider the licensee at Airport in Sevierville. I did ask the ladies at Sevierville to leave the drop off point open. Last time you folks wanted me to drop the trailer off in Bartow -- 20 miles from Winter Haven. The storage King person seemed a little confused that I was dropping it off at his place. Same thing last time I dropped the trailer off there. This hesitancy needs to be dealt with. I should be able to drop the darn trailer off at the closest location to my home. Thanks.LINDSEY Y.

I was charged for a extra 12 miles bc uhaul sent me to a completely different location to pick up the truck when there were places a lot closer that had the size truck I needed. The place we rented the truck at also opened 15mins late.jeri S.
I had originally ordered the truck through Florida Garden Motel UHaul site in Winter Haven. When I arrived to pick it up, the office was closed. I found the manager who informed me that he did not have a truck available- his only truck needed service. I was not contacted to let me know that. He recommended another site which he knew was open on Sunday. When I arrived at that site, the ice cream store ( where the Uhaul rental was) was closed. Fortunately, an adjacent business was open and the owner helped me to find the site in Dundee which was open on Sunday and had an available truck. The manager at that site was extremely helpful. I would never recommend the site at the Florida Garden Motel to ANYONE, EVER!Donna L.
