They were friendly and helpful when needed them. Was able to drop van off after hours with instructions they gave me upon pickup. Note this was not original planned pickup .. Uhaul ended up not having a van and contacted me when I was on way that they changed location which was also not here. We rented a truck from the storage facility that we currently are renting a couple units from. The Storage One facility at Decatur and Blue Diamond in Las Vegas. The truck was rented out with gas just over the 3/8 tank line. We are used to renting vehicles with a full tank and that way we know to return with a full tank. I was instructed to return the truck with gas between 1/4 and 3/8 of a tank. I returned it right at 3/8. Today I was charged an additional $19.44 gas surcharge for the 21 miles I drove. When calling to inquire about the charge I was met with a hostile attitude. She identified herself as Kenly. When I tried to explain that she had told me the day before to bring it back between the 1/4 and 3/8 mark, she got defensive and told me to read my contract. I suggested that I probably shouldn't rent from them again, she was flippant and said, "that's fine". I don't know what happened, how she became so hostile, the staff at this facility have always been friendly and greeted us when we stop in. My wife tried calling back to get some clarity, but Kenly did not answer the phone. Because we live so close, she went down to the facility to inquire again and find out what happened with the gas charge. She was cut off immediately and Kenly placed a copy of the contract in front of her and said she has no further obligation to explain anything. When asking again for some clarity, my wife was told to leave as she is over talking her... when in actuality it was Kenly that had cut her off. We both tried to have a conversation with this lady, but she clearly had no intention of answering any questions. We have never had any issues with renting from Home Depot/Penske. There, we are given a truck with a full tank and always return it that way. Based on the surcharge of $19.44 I can only assume that your trucks get less than 5 miles to the gallon. Perhaps if you are renting out trucks without a full tank of gas a customer should be told about the gas mileage, how else would one know how much they need to put in to bring it back exactly where it was when it wasn't filled to begin with? If Kenly is the face you want to represent your company, we will most certainly go back to Penske the next time we need a truck. Which according to Kenly, Is "fine by me!".FREDERICK W.

The location at blue diamond was not my original location of choice, their services was better than satisfactory and they tried to help a situation that was most inconvenient. My reservation was canceled the afternoon eve of my rental and change to a location much further away. It was such an inconvenience and the person was so nonchalant and calluses about that situation as if this happens all the time. Electronic system seems faulty, but in person representatives were far from inadequate. My original booking had to change to a different location so I updated my reservation online and chose a location next to the place I'm moving, which says guarnteed. Which I chose because I don't want to pay mileage since my 2 locations are close to each other. Yet the morning of my pick up, I was informed yet again that I have to pick up the truck somewhere. I paid $82 for a truck that did not come with what was promised. No padding sheets and the wrong dolly, which the StorageOne associate attempted to convince me was an upgrade... specific dollies has specific functions and I got one that did not fit my needs. The process to retrieve the keys through online verification is long, tedious and faulty. It took me 45 minutes on-site to get the truck, and that cost me additional time with the movers assisting me. This could not have been more inconvenient if the truck was in impound! I feel like I got ripped off and won't be giving out any recommendations.Betelham S.
