On this visit I went in to rent a car dolly or car hauler trailer. The first location I went to was the location at Dixon furniture at 600 Darlington St. in Florence, SC, and I will never go back to that location for anything. First of all when I walked in the were not the friendly people, when I told the guy helping what I needed, before I could even talking, he cut me off and said I'm sorry we just rented it and he did even know what I was going to ask about. I then asked if he knew if any other locations in the area might have a dolly or trailer, and he said no. When I walked outside I googled and found the location on Howle Springs Rd. As soon as I walked in the gentleman working there was one of the friendliest people I met in a long time. We I told him what I needed, he told me he had a trailer, but I really needed a dolly he would try to locate one in the area. I can tell he really love his job and dealing with people. He is doing an excellent job. You need to teach the people at Dixon's location how to talk to people.Rickey W.

Was very disappointed with what we had ti go through to rent a truck. The computer systems nationwide was not working which made it take a lot longer to get the truck so we weren't able to start moving to later than we wanted. U-haul needs to fix whatever the computer problems are. The man at this location worked hard to get us the truck as fast as he could.Kimberly M.
I originally made a reservation for Saturday, may 19th however was made aware the next day that I couldn't because the location was closed. After 20 minutes on the phone the representative finally told me about 24/7 pick up, which seemed fine. When I went to pick the truck up the app didn't work so the representative reset the time to Saturday at 10am. Once again I went back to the location, waited for over 30min on live pickup. Noone ever replied back telling me the pickup was unsuccessful. Needless to say, after 2 days of back and fourth, I was forced to drive to Florence, 26 miles away to pick up a truck! This was the most horrible experience ive ever had with any company and feel that I was not properly assisted. I will not longer be using uhaul or recommending them to friends. That was the worst 200 I've ever spent and the company should really hire reps that are properly trained!kelley B.

I was delayed 4 hours and 11 minutes because the equipment was not working. This caused me to arrive late and the uhaul facility was closed. I had to get a hotel at my own expense! The sales person at this location convenitly failed to tell me about all the charges involed in renting this truck. I feel that he took advantage of this and actually tried to make it seem as though he was doing me some kind of favor. "Crazy" moving at 53 is very hard and having to deal with a salesperson like this just increases the stress. Very disappointed. He told me to read the contract and I would have known. This location was fine, nothing special, Due to the fact that it was s a busy convenience store, it was very disorganized. Anyway, my problem was with the first location, which was the BP station on Old Dixie Hwy, Bunnell. I had reserved the trailer there first. After the order was completed, we went outside and the trailer had a flat. Owner tried telling me he could put air in it and it would probably be fine. Niceâ€¦ I refused. I asked if we could change the tire off of one of the other 6 trailers that were there. He refused and sent me to Ormond Beach. I moved my daughter to St Pete and noticed she lives across the street from a U-haul dealer. I thought it would be easier for me to return it there, so I called customer service to ask. After being stuck on the phone in an endless phone loop, I finally got in touch with a customer service employee. This is where it gets very embarrassing for your company. I told the woman on the other end of the phone what I wanted to do. First she couldn't find my order and continued to tell me that I had the wrong number and that couldn't be my phone number. After some time she found it and again I asked her if I could change dropoff locations. I wanted to know, not only if it was possible to do that, but would there be the charge. Anyway, she said, â€œlike, that is not were you are supposed to drop if off.â€ Then I asked if she was listening to me when I asked her 2 minutes ago if it was possible to change drop off locations. She just said, â€œWhat?â€ Anyway,after I explained again, she told me she didn't know if I could do that, and I should call back tomorrow when management was there. Are you kidding me? What good is having customer service if they act like this? Please understand, this woman was either drunk, on drugs or I am sorry to say the dumbest person I have ever talked to. I can't believe with all the people out of work, this is the best you can do. I promise you this will be the last time I use U-Haul.Arlene C.

I dropped off 2 trucks at this location.1 on contract #22852135.When this truck was rented I also rented 18 furniture blankets.Being that I had 2 trucks 13 blankets were on this truck when it was dropped off and 5 were on the 2nd truck as it was still loaded. As such I was charged $10 for the missing blankets. I was told I would be credited this charge when I returned the 2nd truck with the 5 missing blankets.I was not credited this.On contract #08494336 this truck was rented at 7:24 am on 7/14/11 and dropped off at 8:17 am on 7/20/11.As it was dropped off after 7:24 am I was charged $80 for 2 extra days.As the drop off location does not open until 8:00 am I felt this charge was in error.The store owner only charged me $40 for 1 day extra but charged me $24 insurance coverage for 2 days extra.I feel I should be credited $14 for the extra day of ins. 1.Make sure there is someone at the location that can put my info in computer, so that I could have got my truck at 8:00am instead of 9:15am. 2.Charge the customer what you agreed upon. 3.Don't charge me for a truck that has already been returned 2 days ago. 4.I was not given any paper work to sign when I got truck explaining about rental, roadside assist, and proof I was renting in the event of accident. On positive side the truck was very clean and ran great. I am upset that this $91.xx rental has cost me well over $200.xx and then some because there was not enough funds to cover unautherized charges, after the initial rental.ALBERT P.
This guy barely spoke english. He had no idea what he was supposed to do with the truck. I had a tow dolly and he wanted me to move it across his parking lot by hand. I asked him if he was going to pay me for that work. Isnt he getting paid to do that sort of thing? He gave me no receipt, no documentation of any kind showing that I had left your truck and tow dolly there. What the hell kind of business is he/you running?
