I returned the truck with 3/4 tank of gas, but was told it only had 1/2 tank. I only drove the truck for 25 miles, how can I use 10 gallons of gas (based on a 40 gallon tank as stated by Uhaul) in 25 miles; that's claiming I used .4 gallons of gas for every mile or was getting 2.5 miles per gallon. No vehicle gets this type of mileage. The math clearly does not support the claim that this truck had half a tank when returned. Rather, the average mpg for this type of engine/truck is 8 miles per gallon. Since the record shows only 25 miles was driven, only 3.13 gallons of gas were used, which is how much gas I put into the vehicle before returning it. This is indicated on my credit card statement where the average cost of gas is $4.00 per gallon and I spent $12.00 to bring the truck back up to 3/4 of a tank of gas. The store manager did not read the gauge correctly, the gauge is faulty, maybe someone else drove the truck after I returned it, or something else happened; there can be numerous reasons for this. When truck was idle the AC blew hot like a heater and it was already 109 outside. I brought back the truck with more gas than I was provided and they tried to say I didn't return it with enough gas thankfully I took a photo before leaving the lot. Employees should be physically verifying info on the truck upon checkout and not just sitting behind the desk making customers do their job and then arguing when there's a discrepancy upon check in.ZACHARY R D.

Was told the gas was at 1/4 to 3/8 of a tank. I got in the truck and started driving out of the parking lot to look down and see it was on E and the gas light was on. I then called the location to let her know. She told me to take a picture of it which I did. Then I went to put gas in it. Upon drop off. An older gentlemen (not sure his name) was very rude and then proceeded to tell me â€œdo you have any documentation cause I'm going to have to charge you $35 for the gasâ€ I said I am not paying that and pulled out my documentation of the time I picked the truck, the time the picture was taken and the time I called the store. He then in a very rude manner said â€œwhere did you pick it up fromâ€ I said right here. He was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable I will not be renting from this location any further.Korin K.

There were two employees at this location. The gentleman was rude and unfriendly. The female employee was much friendlier. There was a huge hole in the side of the uhaul that was unsafe and poses a safety issue. If someone were to brush against the uhaul where the hole is this would cause severe lacerations and potentially could pose a financial risk for uhaul and this establishment that rents these units out. This hole has large shards of metal that are protruding outward and if any one person brushes against it there is not doubt that bodily hard will be caused. Please take this unit out of service and repair it before it causes more financial problems than it would to just pull it out of service and fix it. As far as the customer service goes I am very displeased with this service I received. In all the years I have been renting with uhaul by far this is the worst experience I have ever received.Dennis M.

The pick-up and drop-off location were amazing, but the U-Haul truck itself did not run well. It "shuddered" and "vibrated" continuously as driving. I called the storage center that I rented the truck from and they acknowledged the issue and said I should report it in my feedback. It was a very rough ride.ANGELA MARIE N.

We wanted the smallest truck but were unable to get that size. We scheduled 5pm-5pm which is only 24 hours but got charged for 2 full days for everything, we opted for no move insurance but we're still charged for that as well. The app wouldn't work when trying to return the truck and customer service would not answer their phone. The check out process took AN HOUR to do. Very unhappy and overcharged.Jeffrey L.

I had ordered a 16 foot truck the day before. Upon arrival, agent wanted to rent me a truck that had no muffler...in nevada it is illegal to drive such a vehicle. Agent then called another location on rancho, not sure about what happened there but that changed. Agent then informed me he had another truck but would have to have it back by 4pm. That was not acceptable by any means. I had to settle on a 10 foot truck. Due to limited time, I am leaving state, i had to leave over $6000.00 dollars worth of furniture in storage because of not being able to fit my furniture in this truck. I feel very upset and let down that your company conducts business this way. Especially since I had already rented from this company for a long way. I have lost faith in your company and now wonder if when I turn in this truck the level of service will remain this poor.PAUL JOSEPH J.

I was lied to by an employee about a free extension and then another employee named Leah, her husband which I know that has to be against the law her and her husband working together his name is Philip, I called and he was extremely rude over the phone, talking like I was a child, saying things like you understand that! Then when I returned the uhaul Leah argued and yelled at me making it seem as if I was a liar instead of calling the employee to ensure customer service. Or to ensure that She upheld what I was told about another employee. She did none of that she treated me like a criminal in front of my children. Because of this I will not move with uhaul again. If y'all allow people like this to mistreat your paying customers. I want no part of it.Asia A.
The trucks should already be full and the tram should double check the mileage before checking out the trucks. When I got the keys to the truck the women that helped did not go outside to inspect the truck. I returned the truck with the same gas. I was charged $55 For fuel fee. Also I was charged for the pads. I never opened the bag. So it went from a $50 rental to $150. I would not recommend to anyone.Moises C.

I rented this truck online with the contactless option, I pulled up front and completed the check out process in the parking lot, retrieved key from truck, took the pictures needed for the gas and mileage before leaving the parking lot. I was easily in the parking lot of the rental company 10 minutes before I left. I reserved the truck for 6 hours 12:30-6:30. As I was driving to my storage unit, shortly after 1:00- I received a call from the rental company wanting to know when I was bringing the truck back and that he needed the truck returned before 3:30 for another person!! I reserved the truck until 6:30 for a reason - I was moving from one side of town to the other and there is no way I could complete this project in 2 hours. I was really bothered by this request and felt it was extremely rude and unprofessional.Julie C.

I was treated very rudely. I was told one charge .79 per mile for mileage and charged another .99 per mile. And then charged extra fir gas after I filled it back up to where I had it. Had an excellent experience here. Pick-up was quick and easy as well as drop-off. I had an issue with the fuel gauge reading after the fact and when I called and asked about it the gentleman there, I believe his name was Phil, double checked and realized the mistake and was able to call and get the charges reversed. He definitely went above and beyond and fixed my issue. Excellent customer service and I would recommend this place to anyone.Jeremy W.

They need at least some type of trash can to throw away water bottles and small bits of garbage if you want the cars clean! All they have is a dumpster warning you they will fine you $500 if throw trash away there. The staff inside said there was none I could use. Also, the key return was not marked orange or labeled as in the picture, it was just a discreet black slot on the door that dumped keys on the ground.Zane S.

Though I reserved everything online a week before my need date, I was not told the whole pickup process would be online. This cost me 45 minutes of my reservation time as after completing everting online I need additional information which 20 minutes waiting on the phone. I think the process will be great in the future but for now it will take a bit of tweaking. My reservation time should not start till you send message for accessing the key box.Thomas N.

I think that when someone makes a reservation a month in advance the truck should be available on time and what we ordered. I have rented a 26 foot truck and was suppose to pick it up at 2pm on Wednesday and didn't get the truck until 10am on Thursday. This was a huge inconvenience to me and my family. We also rented a 26 foot truck 3 weeks ago and we never got that truck we were told to take 2 15 foot trucks because they didn't have the 26 footer. Moving is hard enough but Very disappointed with the uhaul process.Richard A.

I was not told I was required to use the App to return the vehicle. I returned the vehicle at approximately 6:30 pm and drove my car back to my residence. I received a text message at 8:57 pm that said I needed to use my phone at the return U Haul location to validate the truck was dropped off at the correct location. I drove back to U Haul at 9:20 pm to use the App to verify the truck's location. Luckily the U Haul location is about 10 minutes from my residence.Orville Y.
