Apparently Uhaul reserves money on my card based on the estimate of expenses. When the truck was returned, Uhaul charges actual expenses thus double charging. The excess is returned in 5 business days. Why are my funds unnecessarily encumbered for ANY amount of time. I hope I never need Uhaul again but if I do I will look at competitors first.Sandy R.

Everything is great nice people I appreciate that but what I don't like it is cost to use a 10-foot box truck U-Haul I had to go to Peru Indiana to get one and end up costing me more money to use it out of town like going to Wabash Indiana from Peru location I think the price do you use it out-of-town is outrageous I spent 120 some dollars just to use it out of town Peru Indiana I think that is Bull S.....t and I did not use the truck very long at all the price to use a U-Haul truck out of town should be a lot cheaper especially is you need the truck to use out of town and not that far out of town Peru Indiana to Wabash is 12 miles one way to go figure I know this comment is not going to help because no one we'll listen I have used U-Haul a lot when I need it but it was in town not out of town but into expensive out of town even though you're not going that far I had to go Peru Indiana just to get a U-Haul truck because Wabash Indiana U-Haul did not what I needed that is why it cost me more maybe I just need to find a different company do you use a box truck and say hell with U-Haul service U-Haul company is not going to do a damn thing about what I am saying in this comment that I am writing down nothing is going to be done I know it and to waste my time do you write a comment about how I feel about it and nothing gets done about nothingCLIFF H.
While manager and location was great billing wasn't. Had truck less than 6 hours and was billed for 2 days and for gas when truck was left with fuel gauge reading full. It's not been but 12 hours since I registered my dispute of the bill so we'll see if u haul corrects it. Manager of the facility was awesome. Went extra mile when my help backed out at last minute which is not something u haul usually provides.Nancy C.

My issue is not with the local U-Haul dealers, but with corporate. I never received an email with details regarding the pickup of the truck. When I called the toll free number I was hung up on more than once after exceptionally long wait times. I eventually had to go to the local dealer to have her assist with the arrangements. I had to drive over an hour from my home to retrieve this truck at a much later time than originally planned. Our experience with the local dealer at Del Mar Automotive was amazing. My experience with corporate personnel was abysmal and I would not recommend using U-Haul to my friends or family.Karen P.

Chris was pleasant to do business with. This is a new location and it has easy access as well as a larger lot to maneuver around. I was called early to verify my car dolly was ready, and was assisted in hitching up as well as with the return.KIMBERLY W.
