I rented the same truck two out of the last three days. I drove 30 miles each time, and put in 3 gallons of gas each time. I have the receipts. When I got the U-Haul receipt for the second trucks, I got charged for 2 gallons of gas. Not acceptable! Horrible service!!!Andrew G.

Renting the truck was easy however checking-in/dropping off so much. I missed the text from U-Haul and didn't know about the automated process. I put the key in the drop box before completing. I saw it after driving home and had to drive back and complete the best I could . This was not mentioned at pick-up. Also, a $20 charge leaves a bad taste in my mouth.CARLOS R.

I schedule a 24/7 pickup for 7 am. It wasn't completed, called 1-800-go u-haul and they stated nothing they could do until they opened at 8:30, i was moving into my new house and hired workers to assist me. I already had a full day and had to change everybody's schedule around for the mistake of this company. The GM was suppose to reach out to compensate me but haven't heard anything. All all the people could say is sorry i forgot. Unprofessional, especially when it cost ME more money out of my pocket. I utilize U-Haul a lot but will have to start looking at Budget for future rentals.GARY M.
Still waiting for customer service to call us back for our horrible experience!! We were NOT GUARANTEED the time for pick up it was late! Where's our $50.00 GUARANTEED CREDIT for not getting the truck at the time we were supposed to according to your GUARANTEE we signed for?!! Truck was a mess! While in use I experienced twice having an issue where the key didn't work correctly in the ignition to start. Fortuneately with a maintenance background I was able to get the vehicle started. I mentioned upon return that the ignition has an issue. Service agent was aware of the issue. OK, then either fix it immediately or take the vehicle out of service till it works correctly. This should have been mentioned ahead of time so the rental party can decide to take a diferent vehicle if any..ROMAN O.

The online site needs to improve, also checking the vehicle site. I tried to check it he vehicle on the link that was provided and was timed out. You had to slam the the passenger side door several time to have it close properly. Also years ago, if you are using the vehicle locally, it was the rate price and the first 50 miles was free. I haven't rented a uhaul in a while and was shocked that it was 69 cents a mile. The inside cargo of the truck was dirty. If I ever use Uhaul again, I will choose a different location. The website needs work. I was hoping to store my items in West Bend. When I finalized my move in for storage, it then told me after finally paying for it. That it was in Saukville and nothing was available in West Bend. Had I have known that, I would have scheduled the Uhaul truckd Drop off location too be in Saukville. Instead I ended up overpaying for mileage I never intended on using. It is what it is at the end of the day but it definitely wasn't cool.Nicholas S.

Get better appliance carts. More padding on it, TWO straps on it (top and bottom) and two sets of rubber wheels (one above the other). I have used those from other companies. By comparison the Uhaul one is quite poor.DUANE A.

The individual checking me in was very knowledgeable about the truck I was renting. He did a very good job explaining the rental process and the return process for after hour returns. He was very professional!SANDRA D.
The overall process is cumbersome and not very customer centric. Increased technology and automation should enhance the experience however in this situation it was beyond frustrating with the multiple steps needed. The locks used are horribly hard to use as the dialed numbers do not easily rotate. The customer service agent was nice and apologetic - that was the only nice thing. I think the costs associated with a 40.00 rental are Ludacris. Despite my 40.00 rental for 12 hours, my total cost was 118.00 (80 miles driven). Overall, disappointed with experience and would not recommend.Rabeka K.

not close geographically i had to travel 40 miles to pick up the truck, from the location where i reserved the truck, I was not informed of the alternate location ) i only discovered the fact when I stopped at the assumed rental location the day prior to rental to verify , the new location significantly upset our moving arrangements. I waited a long time for assistance checking in. The truck could have been pulled out as it took me 20 mins to clean snow & get it started. It then took another 10 just to back it out of the spot. As most people say time is money.NATASHA C.
First we reserved a truck for noon showed up at noon to see someone taking the last truck, had to wait about 1/2 to get a different one. We took the truck back at 430pm that same day and the next day got a phone call asking where the truck was. We had returned it the previous day. we were very disappointed with uhaul.KEITH K.
So the first time I rented, when I returned it and brought the key to the key box. I then saw the uhaul.com/share. Then had to walk back to the vehicle and go through the return process. It would have been nice to know how after-hours returns worked before hand. But other than that, good experience!JAMES M.

The app experience was terrible. I tried to log in and fill out my information before getting to the location but nothing said it was going to check my location straight away. Because it did this I was locked out of checking in. The person on the phone told me I was locked out because the app said I was 20mi away. It would be helpful if the app let you pre-setup all the info needed and then check location. Maybe QR code's could be used to speed things up? The process was far too slow with all the individual sections to take photos.Damian R.

Haul representative should be more informative to the customer when checking out a vehicle. Truck was clean but definitely needs maintenance. The steering was very sloppy and the air conditioning didn't work. I was charged for cleaning the truck because I didn't fold the moving blankets when I specially asked if I was required to do so and I was told no.Thomas V.
